This is my second pair. The first pair was recommended to me by a friend for planter fascitis. I use these flops as an everyday shoe. I have walked many mile in the back country, city, beaches. The first pair held up for just over 2 years. Vary good as I usually only get a year if I'm lucky. This new pair I brought to Europe and averaged 20k to 30k steps in a day. Granted I did get a blister from them not being broke in but they were vary comfortable.

This is the only high arch support sandal I have ever found. Tried other so called orthopedic brands that were worthless. Sent them back & re-bought vionic.

He loves them; they do cause a blister between the toes right out of the box. Just something to be cognizant of. After broken in, could possibly be the best sandal on the market. Replacing an old pair of Tides owned for 5 + years.
