The strap is quite loose om my 4E high volume foot. I can't say how the footbed works for my plantar fasciitis.

I purchased many of these sandals for my husband about 10 years ago. The straps weren't as roomy as they are now. My husband has narrow feet and can't keep the new one on without gripping his toes. The straps accommodate men with larger, plumper feet, or narrow feet. Why did Vionic have to change the strap to accommodate bigger, larger, feet. We no longer buy your sandals anymore. They worked great for problem feet that needed arch support.

Good support and very comfortable. A great fit except that the strap is so loose they were falling off my feet. Had to return them. These are made for someone with fat feet.

Left shoe strap is substantially higher than right on navy shoe. Also bought black and both were fine.

My old sandals fit so good and were so comfortable I bought another pair after 4 years. The new ones are not as comfortable and fit isn't as good. WHAT HAPPENED.

These things barely stay on your feet because I can fit almost an inch between the top of my foot and the straps. Makes absolutely no sense why they would design them this way as I have never had an issue fitting into a sandal. Otherwise, they seem well constructed and the arch support seems great. Unfortunately, I cannot find an arch support sandal on the market anywhere that works for me.

These have changed for the worse---they hurt! Why does vionic change theses? The old version was comfortable, supportive, easy to walk. These are stiff, heavy, and hurt tops of toes

Bought this June 2020 use only as summer slippers. The fabric post is worn down to a couple of threads after light use. For the price should last much longer. Good foot support.

Arrived clearly worn, not just tried on. I usually wear an 8 in women's Vionic and tried a 7 in these to see if they were a little wider than the women's Tide IIs. These were much bigger in ever way. I didn't try them on because they were dirty and clearly too big.

I bought a pair of these 'flip flops' style Vionic sandals last week. Fed Ex delivered 2 days late but the box and product were not damaged. these shoes are difficult/awkward to walk in. I have wood floors in kitchen laundry and hallways and have berber (woven) carpet in all other rooms. the traction bottom soles on these sandals really grip the carpet causing a bit of a trip hazard. the main problem with these shoes though is that there is no top support to anchor the foot into the sandal. and that makes walking awkward. walking might have been better if the bottom soles of the sandal was flat (slides easily) I will buy a different Vionic sandal that snugs the top of the foot into the sandal. I will not return these sandals. will keep them for outdoor use.

The top straps on all the Vionic are way to big. Otherwise the size and arch support are good. Unfortunate as these appear to be good value.

I've worn Vionic flip flops since 2010. I need the mens/unisex styles in order for them to be wide enough for my feet. I've had this exact style before, but Vionic has issues with product consistency. This batch is hard, not giving, and feels different in the left than the right. The arch extends too far out toward the outside of my foot. I tried several colors in hopes they might be different. Sadly all had to be returned.

No longer as good re: arch support or well made. Made more cheaply they are much lighter than they used to be. Price seems lower too most likely due to all the new competiton. Sad bc I relied on them for years. Now I am returning my new order.

These are much more cheaply made including a lower arch and less plantar fascitis assistance than the previous models. Company also lowered prices for some things and you can see they now have more competition. Very disappointed. Will not keep as it will not help me like previous models did.

I loved these comfortable flipflops but on two different pairs they have delaminated when using them at the beach. Crazy Glue enabled me to repair the second pair after I had just discarded the first. The soles should not separate on a $70 pair of sandals.

Sandals were too loose. Length correct arch felt fine but upper straps too loose and not adjustable. For that price for a flip flop it needs to fit! Returned.

Admittedly I bought these sandals 2 years ago but never actually wore them until 2 months ago. When I bought them I found them painful to wear. But recently my Doc convinced me to use orthotics and after a few months I tried the Vionics again and found them to feel great. However after 2 months use the straps stretched out so that I have to work to keep them on my feet. I am outside the warranty period so Vionic said they couldn't help me. But I wanted to share my experience so others can avoid having the same issue with these shoes.

I've always heard that Vionics were the way to go for a comfortable, supportive flip flop. I ordered the Vionic Tide about 2 months ago and now they are my "go-to" flop when I'm working outside or in the garage because there's just too much play in the straps to securely hold my feet in place. I don't care if they're covered in dirt, grease or sawdust because I'll never wear them inside the house or away from home. Just too much sloshing around of my feet in these sandals. I've even applied strips of moleskin to the underside of the straps to help take up some of the play and it helps a bit, but not a good look for a $70 pair of sandals. New Balance Revitalize Thongs were the best of the best for comfort, arch support and durability but they are no longer made. And don't even think of purchasing their "Revitalign" flops. Cheap, no supportive arch support and poor construction. Running out of options so I guess I'll try Olukai.

It's really unfortunate that Vionic claims their flip flops are exactly the same as the previous Orthaheels. Any retail store you go to will tell you that. These "Tide" flip flops I'm reviewing are OK but nothing in comparison to my Orthaheels I wear in the yard (because they're old and beat up). The Orthaheels foot bed and the Vionic foot bed seem to be almost identical. The problem lies in the straps. My Orthaheels stay on my feet without any attempt to keep them there. The distance from the foot bed to the straps on the Orthaheels is less than it is on the Vionics. With the Vionics, I have to make an effort to curl my toes to keep them on my feet. It gets old...they kind of fit like rubber boots compared to the old Orthaheels. My girlfriend has 2 pair of Vionics and one pair of Orthaheels and she almost always wears the Orthaheels because the Vionics just don't fit right...and they're all the same size. I wish someone from Vionic would read and heed this. Ok...back to the Tides...they're OK but I won't be buying any more Vionics because they're inferior to the Orthaheels.

I have worn these for over 10 years. They changed this sandal when they made it unisex. This used to be the best sandal on the market

I've worn this same pair for 15 years and they finally wore out. So I happily bought another pair. The fit was wonky and uncomfortable and I am sorely disappointed.

I had an old pair of these sandals, and they were great: the most comfortable sandal I have ever bought for my large flat feet. I bought the same pair, recently, and I can't walk in them: my foot is in pain. Disappointing, and I am not the first to notice a decline in quality in this product.

I've worn the Wave (great fit) for years which had been discontinued. These looked about the same except for the straps. Which is the problem. I can fit 2 fingers between the top of my foot and the strap. I wear a size 14E shoe. And I tried 2 pairs so it wasn't a defect. Slips off my foot when I walk,. Returned both pair. Might work for someone else, not me.
