I never wore flip flops but this has been my go to sandal this year. I have fallen arches and live in Florida. Yes, at first the straps between my toes rubbed. I suggest using a small flesh colored bandaide where it rubs. I like that they look like a substantial dressy flip flop.

This is my first pair of Vionic flip flops and let me tell you they are the best thing for your feet that you can ever buy.If you have Plantar Fasciitis as I do you will want these .That take a couple days to get used to because of the support to your arch but went you do ,you do not want to take them off.I also purchase the inserts and they make my shoes feel the same support. These are the most comfortable flip flops I have owned due to plantar fasciitis issues. I can walk and stand in them for hours with no pain. Due to the arch support and orthotic foot bed people without foot issues may find them uncomfortable.

Believe it or not, I purchased these for my 17-year-old son, prior to leaving for a beach vacation. He loves them. He is a high school tennis player and his feet take a pounding from hours on the court. When he slipped these on, he said his feet immediately relaxed but felt supported. Plus, he felt they were fashionable as well!

Good fit for my hubby's skinny skinny feet. Good support too. Classy but not so flip flop looking. He's Birkenstock's got swiped from the beach pier last year...so these are welcomed as they are easy to take care of.

Great pair of flip flops with arch support and more a more classy look, husband likes them.

As one reviewer posted, if you do not have foot issues you probably won't like these. I have plantar fasciitis and find these to be the most comfortable flip flops I have owned. The arch support and deep heel cup allow me to walk and stand without pain for prolonged periods of time. I have had no issues with the strap rubbing. My feet are medium width. I have had them a few weeks so I can't speak to their long term durability yet. I am very pleased with these flip flops.

These shoes are very comfy. The arch is quite pronounced so that took a bit of getting used to. The arch changes the way my foot leaves/hits the ground when I walk in a good way. The tow strap fits my foot perfectly, not loose or tight. They are pricey so I hope they last. The construction seems quite durable.

The Tide is the original Orthaheel flip flop that got me into the brand. I am a woman with a wide foot, so the size 7 men's /8 womens size fits me perfectly. The other women's flip flops are not wide enough. I wear them pretty much all the time when at home around the house, alternating with Orthaheel slippers. I need to replace them about every 6 months.

I bought these in black and they are now my favorite flip flops of all time. They were recommended by my podiatrist and she was spot on. I will never wear any other flip flop because these feel so amazing. In fact, I'm buying red and brown as well my only comment is they don't come in half sizes. I'm an 8.5 and bought a 9 and they work fine.

I love these flip flops. I have been jealous of my fiancé for years because she swears by these and wears them year round. I finally bought a pair and they are perfect. I wear them all the time and the comfort level is great. I feel like I am walking on a cloud. It did take a few days to get used to wearing them but now they feel like they are part of me. I am going to buy a black pair so I have both colors.

So far these are really great flip flops and seem to be well made. They have a really good arch support so if you have flat feet, these should work out great. It may be a tad bit too much as my right pinky toe has been sore due to it rolling under a bit. However, I think other shoes cause this too.

If your feet are fine, please don't buy these and then whinge about the substantial arch support. These flip flops are meant for the orthotic-dependent crowd (and we are many) who cannot stand in a regular pair of thongs for even one minute. To have flip flops with a built in orthotic-quality arch support gives me the ability to wear them without pain. I am elated to find the original Orthaheel footbed on these, resilient, supportive and relatively lightweight, esp. compared to Chacos. Attractive, gender-neutral styling with cozy neoprene lining. I am a gal wearing a men's 9.5 4E, and the men's 9 fits me perfectly. I have to wear boots for my fussy feet, and the freedom of flip flops is a blessing for me! As always, flawless service from Zappos.

I ordered my sandals online after contacting customer service to clarify several questions relating to the product. They were polite and very knowledgeable. The shoes arrived two days later. I was very pleased.

The Vionic product is very good. It fits well and wears well. My praise is for Zappos. They just do a very good job with customer service! I like buying from them, for I know that if I have some problem they will do whatever they need to do to make it right.

My husband lives in these all spring, summer & fall. The style is plain, so he doesn't feel too dressed up in them.

Because I wear custom orthodics in my shoes, I found regular flip flops very uncomfortable. Fortunately the Vionic Tide has an excellent arch support. In fact, I bought a second pair. One to use in the house as slippers and the other for pool/beach wear.

VIONIC WITH ORTHAHEEL TECHNOLOGY ARE THE ONLY FLIP FLOP SANDALS THAT I WEAR!! I HAVE PURCHASED NUMEROUS STYLES AS WELL AS THEIR SLIPPERS. THEY ARE SO COMFORTABLE AND DO EXACTLY AS THEY PROMISE WITH YOUR FOOT AND LEG ALIGNMENT. NO MORE PAIN IN MY LOWER BACK, LEGS OR FEET EVEN AFTER STANDING OR WALKING ALL DAY! AWESOME SHOES.

Quite a heavy flip flop. My 15 year old ended up wearing his slides over these. I should have returned.
