These boots are super comfortable and good looking. I take an extra wide width and these boots fit the bill. I first ordered an 8 which tended to be a bit large. Exchanging the 8 for a 7 ½ was extremely easy after speaking on the phone with customer service. After I received the 7 ½, I returned the size 8. No problem at all. I have been wearing the boots since the first day they came, and I have not had to break them in at all. Love the composite safety toe and the fact that they are waterproof.

I wore these boots for almost a year. Very comfortable and durable, still going strong. I work in a shop handling fiberglass, wood, metals, sandpaper, wet conditions; the Resistor preforms well. I also used them at home, in the garden, cutting down trees, splitting wood, and working on my car in the garage. A little warm for summertime use, or I could just have sweaty feet! Great boot

I wore these boots for about a year straight. Still holding up and comfortable. Working in a shop using saws, fiberglass, epoxy, sandpaper, metals, these boots really held up to the test. Also used them in my yard cutting down trees, splitting 3 cords of wood, and working on my car in the garage.

I really like the look & feel of these boots. The weight of them is great & the leather & stitching is excellent as usual. This boot is similar to the Pit Boss & I have worn a number of pairs of those with no complaints. I like the composite safety toe & the waterproof leather construction. Sole & welt seem very well built & the sole has molded in ladder rung grooves.

I work underground construction. Repairing water mains and installing new ones for a large scale city. On my feet all day. Usually in mud and wet conditions. My feet stay dry and and unacumbersome, which I attribute to the lightness of the boots and the protective layer of the composite material. I'm on my second pair now. And have purchased a third as they sell out quick! I'm definitely a fan and I'm one step ahead for the next time

I work in demolition mostly involving long walks and standing for long periods of time. The boots are great so far. It's been a month since I purchased them and delivers what I was looking for. I received few compliments. I do recommend not to tie the shoe lace all the way up as it may become uncomfortable when you walk. I experience this on first day and went down one shoe lace hole and since then they feel great on my feet. I must say Steel toe gives shoe (outer) a bulky look which makes the shoe look bigger than what it already is. Other than that, they get the job done:

The size was about half a size larger than ordered. In this case I usually wear an 11, however they fit more like 11.5, though this was not a huge issue as I primarily wear thicker socks with them. The look is classic Timberland, nothing more to say. As far as a working boot, these did exactly what I needed them to 1) Kept my feet dry 2) Kept them warm 3) provided great protection while shoveling snow/breaking ice.

Great boot. Durable, very solid. The only issue is the weight of the boots. I read the weight but didn't realize they'd be that heavy. And wearing them 10hrs a day is hard on the knees. Otherwise, I definitely recommend them.

This boot is rather strange. Looks like a great boot, look and feel feels and look much larger. One of the turn offs of this boot is that they feel a like Ronald McDonald shoes huge toe section for me. I did not need to think twice about returning them. I was just not happy.

I was hoping that the composite toe meant that they would clear the metal detector where I work. Unfortunately, the eyelets are metal and I have to take them off, every time I go into and out of the data hall. I'm not sure what the point is of having the composite toe, since they still have metal eyelets. I was going to return them, but decided to keep them, as they are very comfortable and the speed laces at the top make for easy on and off. They are very cushy for standing or walking, which is a trade off, if you need a lot of support. They do seem to run a half size larger, but that is a good thing, if you like to add insoles for arch support. You can always go down a half size and replace the insole that comes with the boot, but you would be losing the cushy "anti fatigue" insole in doing so. Overall, I'm satisfied with this boot, but will have to wait to see, if they hold up.

When I find a brand I like, I stick with it. This is my third pair and third style of Timberland Boots. They're comfortable and last for years. I find the fit on this model sloppy with very little support. I have been wearing them about a month and the laces are pulled all the way tight and they're still loose. Will have to add an insole. Definitely wear these around the house before you commit to the great outdoors.

I purchased these for my husband. This is going to confuse some people as to what to buy but here goes. These are well made, comfortable and look great. His only complaint, they were too small. I sent them back, (which by the way is so easy to do) and ordered a 1/2 size bigger. These are now perfect. I don't know what to tell you as far as what size to order since most of the reviews say true to size. These boots are great but he needed 1/2 size up.

Standing on a factory floor all day long. After wearing these for 2 weeks, my feet hurt more and more every day. Finally became agonizing pain. Don't buy these! Timberland used to have a double insole, not anymore.
