These are really great stylish shoes. Weâ??ve been purchasing this brand for our kids for over 10 years. They generally fit well, are durable, wash well, and come in great funky color choices. They are lightweight and easy to get on and off for kids with fine motor issues (though this particular pair does have laces unlike many of the other pairs this brand features that have a Velcro strap and stretch laces). My complaint with this style though is the very off sizing. I am aware that Tsukihoshi run big. But these are ridiculous. My sons old shoes he had grown out of were a 6 so I ordered a 6.5. I figured they might be a tad big. They were so big they didnâ??t stay on his feet. Sent back. Ordered a 5.5. Again, way too big. Now Iâ??m trying to decide between going down to a 4.5 or a 5....for a kid that grew out of a size 6?! Confused here. Keep this in mind when ordering this shoe! Felt MORE than one size larger!

These run one size large. Very nice looking. Insert offers no arch support at all, but can be replaced with different insole quite easily. Sturdy shoe.

My son wore Tsukihoshis a lot when he was a preschooler/kindergartener. They are extremely well made, lightweight and comfortable. And they are machine washable!!! These, however, run quite big. My 9 year old is about a 4. We ordered a 3.5 and they were still too big for him.

All Tsukihoshi shoes run 1 size larger than other brands, and are very wide (Tsuki 2 = others 3). They are pretty much the only shoes that fit my son, and we love them. They look cool and he says they are comfortable.

I wish I'd noticed the prior review. This shoe is massive -- boys' 4.5 is almost the size of his brother's Nike size 7s. It seems sturdy, but will sit on the shelf a year (or two) until he grows into it.

Great looking shoe. Will have to use different insoles such as Dr Scholl's. Son has flat feet and these are very flat inside. They seem to run a whole size larger. My son wears a 5. Ordered a 4 in these. They fit. Will keep them because few shoes for boys have such a solid exterior at this price and the removable "insole" included can be taken out so there's plenty of room to insert a proper insole. Kind of customizable in that way, which suited our purpose.
