This boot is great! I wear a size 10, ordered a size 10, and they fit true to size. I do have a slightly wider foot but the medium in these boots was fine for me. If you have a narrow foot, these may not work for you. Also, I have an athletic 15" calf and these were fine...still have room for my skinny jeans to tuck inside. These are very comfortable but I will probably put my orthotics inside for extra comfort. The black leather and silver hardware is beautiful!

I really wanted these boots to work for me, but... Even thought these boots have nice long, wide elastic panels in the back, they aren't really a wide calf cut and they don't stretch enough to fit my 18" wide calves. The foot felt great, maybe a tad narrow, but it has the orthaheel insole which is great (I pretty much only wear orthaheel because of my problems with flat feet and plantar fasciitis). The boot looks lovely and the leather is very nice. I got the brown and liked the color. Overall it's a beautiful boot, if only it would fit my calf it would have been perfect. The search continues!

I kept these boots because they have some good qualities, but they have some bad features too. First the good: the arch and heel support is amazing and why I am keeping them. I can walk miles in these, and I walk a mile to work and don't like carrying an extra pair of shoes. However, they don't fit quite right in the ankle (too big) and the toe (too tight) and I really dislike the elastic panel in the back. It makes the boot look sloppy, especially in the ankle area. I got the brown - maybe in black they look better. Then today I noticed an addition issue with the elastic - the back of my leg is cold while outside while the front is nice and cozy. The wind whips through the elastic panel and I live in Wisconsin, so this is not good.

These boots are, without question, the most comfortable footwear I've ever worn in my life. As soon as I slipped my foot into them I knew that I could walk for hours in them without complaint. And while the width was a little roomy for my narrow foot, it's nothing that a pair of thick socks won't fix, and the length and arch of the footbed are perfect for me at a size ten. But. But. They have one major flaw. One that I'm well accustomed to from other boots I've tried on through the years, but one that really breaks my heart here because these boots are otherwise perfect. And that flaw is that the calf is WAY too wide for my 13.5" calves. I think because I'm a size ten, the circumference of the calf is even larger than the 15" stated here. I thought I could deal with it, as I have with other boots in the past, but on a riding boot like this the gap looks awkward and unpolished. It breaks my heart, but I'm going to have to send these back and begin my riding boot search anew. Vionic, if you ever make riding boots with a narrow calf, I'll be the first in line to buy them!

I absolutely love Vionic! I have several pairs of sandals and was excited to try the boot. I love the comfort of the boot, but the shaft was just too wide and the boot overall bulky. I really want something I can wear to work, and these go better with chunky sweaters. I would have kept them for just that purpose except for the excessive amount of room around the ankle and calf. I wear a 7 1/2 in sandals and flats and that is what I took in these boots--although I usually wear an 8 in most other boots.

Gorgeous boot! The footbed was super comfortable. Only the front is leather, the back is made of elastic material. I have very thin ankles so the elastic material, being so soft, collapsed around my ankles. It just didn't look right, so I returned.

Overall cute boots, didn't feel like it had adequate arch support which is the reason I bought them. I ended up buying insoles to put in them so somewhat disappointed with the price and lack of support.

I love Vionic shoes for the excellent arch support. I sized up a half size with these but they were still to small. Even with the elastic that goes the full length of the boot the calf was to small. I have 17.5" calves. I have to send these back but I may get the 10 wide if I can determine if the calf is also wider

I really liked the look of these boots but the just didn't fit. I have high arches and the insole these have is great for that. My big toe is, for lack of a better description tall, and these boots did not accommodate for that. The heel way also off, not sure if my heel was slipping or what but they just felt off. Had to return.

I could put my custom orthotics into these boots, but I did not care for the stretchy material up the back. It seemed unflattering and not as dressy as I'd hoped. I returned these.

The brown boots were 2 totally different colors! One was a medium brown, one was a very dark brown. I loved them, but my whole family agreed it looked like a shoe from 2 separate pairs.

I have larger calves and from reading the other reviews and looking at the panels, I thought I'd be fine but it was really snug. I could put these on with skinny jeans but it was just uncomfortable. I'd say if your calves are even slightly above 15", you might want to reconsider these. The shaft also came at a strange point and were not knee length. I do have longer legs though, so perhaps it's fine on anyone with average height or shorter. I'm sad to have to be returning these as they feel very well made and like they'd hold up to several years of wear.

I typically wear a 6½ but the length ran small. The 7 fit better. Orthotic insoles are great for people with foot issues. I am 5'3", Size 2, athletic and the calf of the boot was still huge and gapped. Great for someone who has large calf muscles.

I love my Vionic sandals because of the great arch support - but these boots did not fit my foot correctly. It felt like the arch bump was in the wrong place - too far forward. And my heel slipped both with and without socks. I will be returning them. So my search for a perfect brown riding boot continues! Thank you Zappos for making it so easy.

I love Vionic shoes so I was really excited about these, despite the hefty price tag. First, they were too tight, but second, they did not have any substantial arch support. Very disappointing. I'm going to keep my other boots and try to find better insoles online.

Love this boot! The footbed is supportive and comfy. The boot looks great and is beautifully made but it's just too wide at the calf. I am not heavy by any stretch but I do have some meat on my calves and yet there's still a huge gap around my leg at the top of the boot. Wish there was a narrow calf option:(

The orthodox insole does not fit my foot, also, the booth seems very "cheap" looking to me. The base if very large so for a size 9-9 1/2 the cut of the boot was unflattering. I did not like the way the boot had fabric/stretch on the sides, it had an odd fit, there are buckles to tighten the side of the boot, but it does not do the job. I am sending them back.
