Stylish and comfortable. I usually ware a 7.5 US women's. I've gone between 37 and 38 in Birkenstocks and prefer the perfect fit of 37 for sandals as well as these boots. I wore these immediately for long days of travel - instant comfort. Can't beat the therapeutic fit and good looks! My feet and spine are happy while I get to remain fashionable. Totally worth it.

While I wasn't planning on a boot that was quite this motorcycle rider-esque, I love this boot. Nice leather and workmanship, and it fits me like my other Birkenstocks. And there are many of those, though most are sandals. I have wide feet and am hard to fit. I tried several Birkenstock boots. The others were too narrow.This is the winner.

I had high hopes for these boots! Unfortunately they didn't work for me. My feet are wide (a bit wider than these boots) and I have a severe neuroma in my right foot. As soon as I put these on, I could feel them pinching my forefoot. I'd already sized up to get the width I need. The boots were already too long as a result, and because they're so rigid I didn't want to size up yet again. So back they go! The problem is my awful feet. Theses are clearly high-quality shoes, and many other customers seem to love them. I'm sure they'll work for others whose feet aren't as effed-up as mine.

The boot seem a good size too small. I liked the style and the quality...but it was just too small, a tad narrow. Very sad-for me.

The boots I received are not dark brown. They are a very off-putting yellowish tan. I will exchange and see if I just got a bad batch. Also, although I ordered my size, they seem big. I will order a half size down.

I love these boots. They're comfortable, stylish, and versatile. I wore them while walking and biking all over France and Iceland, and they were great. The boot offers a fair bit of support - as one expects from Birkenstock - without the need to break in the footbed. They were comfy out of the box. The sole is rugged and was perfect for walking on wet cobblestone and hiking off road. I wore them in the rain, and though the boots got wet, my feet didn't. I recommend waterproofing the leather for even more protection. I normally wear a narrow in Birkenstocks (sandals), but the regular/medium width worked well in this boot, since I always wear socks with them.

Nice to wear with jeans. The fit is good and seems to be okay for my Nueromas ;as I have super high arches heeled bots are out of the question. These fill in nicely, I have not worn them for an extended period of time yet. But around the house they have seemed fine. Birks are the only shoe I can tolerate now. It most like your are foot.

I absolutely love moto boots. But I have not had a pair in about 20 years because I just do not generally wear black or dark clothes. These are the perfect solution. They look great with my Japanese bent when it comes to fashion. Basically anything I would wear with closed toe Birks, these work, in the colder weather. (Adorable layered with sweater tights and skirts or slouchy socks and cuffed pants/jeans.) The best part? The comfort of the Birkenstock footbed. I have worn Birk sandals and clogs my entire life and always wear a 39. I had to go up to a 40 in these in order to wear them with thick cold weather socks. If you live in a warmer clime and will only wear them with thin or no socks, your regular size will work. The boot is a very soft light to medium brown with faded/worn coloring, not one perfectly even shade. Not dark brown.

Being a fan of Birkenstock sandals, and after trying on dozens of pairs of boots, I decided to order these. The fit is perfect, and the color works well with almost everything.

I love these boots! The moment I put them on. I do have a narrow foot and I was happy that they fit perfectly and the toe box was roomy so my toes can spread out. That is the biggest issue I have with shoes today. They squish your toes into abnormally tight silhouettes. These do not. And you can feel the cork foot bed that Birkenstock's are known for. Plus, they are really cool. Not dorky at all.

I have wide feet and I ordered the same size as I wear in my regular Birkenstock sandals. These did not fit however, they were too narrow for my wide feet and I felt like my toes were touching and squeezed in the front. They are a gorgeous color and I really wanted to love them but sadly they did nit fit so I returned them. I normally wear a 40 in the regular footbed and the same size in these boots was too narrow/small.

These shoes are great and super comfortable right from the start and have a bit of style, too. After wearing the Birkenstock sandals all summer, I was sold on the brand and was not disappointed with these. While fitting comfortably with thin socks, there is still enough room for thicker, warmer ones. I love them so much, I asked for the shearling boots for Christmas!

These took less than a day to break in and now fit like a glove. I am so excited to find boots I can wear that do not kill my bunioned feet. I might order another pair as a back up.

Love these boots. I wear a 39 Narrow in sandals and ordered these in a 40 to wear with socks and they're perfect. These seem to be sized liked a Birk Narrow so work great for me but might not work for a wider foot. As has been noted by others, the color is more of a distressed dark gray which I like better than if they were solid black.

This boot felt just dreamy. So comfortable and sturdy, just enough room for medium to thick socks. The color is kind of strange, though. The brown has a little pinkish tinge to it, and looks more washed out than the picture.

I love these booties. I was so excited to see Birkenstock was making boots! I can walk in my Birk sandals all day with no problem and I have difficult feet to fit - a bunion, wider feet at the top, and narrow heels. I think these are going to work even with all of that! I wasn't sure whether to stick with my sandal size or to order a size up. After trying them both on with various weight socks I think my sandal size fits best. I will use a thin sock though as I live in San Diego and it is rare it's even cool enough to wear closed toe shoes! I'm super excited about these though and can't wait for San Diego "winter" so I can wear them a little bit!

Love these boots! I have picky feet and these were super comfy right out of the box - I have a wide foot, medium width fits fine so if you are narrow they may be too wide. Leather is super soft and I love the distressed look. Very happy with my purchase.

The most comfortable and stylish boot. My Birkenstock sandal size is 37 but I ordered 38 for this boots to have enough room with heavier socks. Bingo! Just perfect. I ordered brown pair but they are very attractive grayish brown. Beautiful! I will black pair for Christmas!

Boots are just like pictured; however, I always wear a 41 in Birkenstocks and these were a little tight. I will be ordering the next size up. Seem to be very well made.

So, I was so excited to get my boots since I love my summer Birkenstocks. I went with the suggestion of a previous reviewer to get the same size I wear in the sandal. Unfortunately that didn't work out for me. They fit too perfectly. No room for socks on a cold winters day. I have since ordered a size larger. I have yet to receive them but feel pretty confident they will be great.

These are the best boots I have ever worn! I am ordering a second pair. I wear Birks all summer and so excited I can wear them all winter! In wear a 39 in sandals and the same in the boots.

Just awesome. Very cool, very comfortable, perfect fit for my somewhat wide foot. Black has distressed gray tone. Nice biker boot look, not heavy. Will by my go-to boot this year for sure.

I received these boots this morning and have been wearing them since. They are very comfortable.

I love Birkenstock sandals and they are the only shoes that don't hurt my feet. But these shoes are too narrow. Sizing up wouldn't help because the length is fine. Why not wider?

I ordered these boots online, and was nervous about the size. So many reviews said to order a size up. For the moulded footbed I couldn't see doing that, so I ordered my usual Birkenstock size. They were a bit snug at first, but I wore them around the house all evening and by then they fit perfectly!!! If you like to wear super thick socks in winter, then order a size up, but I am good with the thick leather of these, they keep my feet warm with regular socks. I did have a bit of trouble getting the left boot on, but I have high insteps and it was just the way the opening and the zipper are. It's getting easier with each wear. These boots are beautiful, thick, soft and supple leather. The comfort is unbelievable, quality and comfort is what I expect from Birkenstock. With a different outer sole, even with the usual cork footbed I wasn't sure if they'd be the same. But I am pleased with the Birkenstock quality and comfort! I live in Birkenstocks due to several foot issues after many years as a nurse. I needed a boot that would keep me walking my usual long distances in comfort and these certainly deliver! Plus they're cute! They will look great with jeans, leggings, or a skirt! And Zappos delivered them in a couple of days! And with the amazing return policy I felt I could take the chance on ordering my usual size, knowing if they were wrong, I could return them with no problem and get another size! I am so happy to have found such a comfortable and stylish boot made by Birkenstock. I anticipate many years of wear from these!!
