I really wanted to love these shoes, being a very rare example of good looking comfortable dress shoes. However the toebox was far too narrow (I ordered in 8½W!), and the edge of the shoe hit right on my bunion - which is very painful. They run narrow, but a bit long (I am normally 8½-9, and trying the 8½ I had a gap back at the heel). Sadly, they have to go back.

I love these shoes but the back inside is cut high. Within 3 minutes of walking in the house, I knew the area right under my ankle bone would either blister or be cut. (Note: arch support and cushion in footbed is excellent.) Unfortunately they go back.

The last on this shoe is a bit strange. I generally wear a 7.5W, because I have a wide forefoot, a narrow heel and a flat arch. I normally have a very difficult time finding shoes that are both comfortable and stylish. Flats work great, if they can stay on my heel. Heels are only okay if they’re not too tall and have some kind of material to secure the top of my foot, as it seems I walk out of any shoe that is large enough to accommodate my wide toe area. These shoes fit perfectly only because of the t-strap. The last itself is a little long - if I forced my foot to the bottom of the toe, there’s about 3/4” space at the back of my heel. Thankfully the strap keeps my foot from doing that. The wide width fits my moderate bunions just fine, and I think the bit of extra length actually makes my foot look more narrow than it actually is! There’s plenty of comfy padding all along the arch, under the metatarsal pad and behind the heel. I haven’t worn these all day or walked any real distance in them yet, but I am confident there won’t be any terrible rubbing. (One hotspot I’ll be looking out for is where the vamp covers the top of my big toe, as that is where the material bends when I walk.) The heel height is perfect for my aging feet (going on 40, still healing from bunion surgery). The outsole is flexible enough for me to take natural steps and the heel contour is supportive (stiff) enough that I don’t wobble. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to find my perfect pair of heels! I love the t-strap, and the retro look; reminds me of some shoes my mom used to wear in the 70’s. I plan to take these on a week long trip to Sweden and will report back on how that goes. I am hopeful these will be my holy grail of dressy shoes and can buy in multiple colors!

The design of the shoe is amazing. The color is perfect. The cushion inside is so comfortable. I'm wearing it to a wedding and will be on my feet all day. Overall, it rocks!

These may very well be the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn -- like walking on thick cushions. Style is very cute as well.

I was so excited when I ordered this shoe because it came in a narrow width. (I wear a size 9, AA, with high arches.) It is a slimmer fit and fits comfortably. My only complaint is the lack of arch support and the shoe gaps around that area and is not close fitting. I will buy an arch support, but there is isn't any way to fix the gap. It looks weird when I walk. I will keep them because I needed/wanted a dressier shoe that wasn't uber high in the heel. I so wish someone would make a narrow shoe with truly good arch support. Not all of us are 'mediums'.

The fit and sizing are good for this shoe. I originally had to reorder a size down but that is the norm for me with a dresser type shoe. My only issue is the shoe is a little matronly looking with dresses but does look cute with skinny jeans. I struggle constantly with finding shoes that fit my feet. Halix rigidus and hammertoe so if I can find a shoe with a wide toe box and that stays on my slim heels, I keep them.

These shoes are super-comfortable and cute! I love Cobb Hill; they are the most stylish and, at the same time, comfortable brand that I have ever discovered. This is my third pair of shoes from them. I can usually wear them right out of the box, and my feet are happy - no breaking in required. This shoe feels like it does run a little smaller than the other shoes that I have ordered from them. I am usually between a size 10 and a size 11 in shoes. I ordered my usual size for Cobb Hill, 10, in medium width, and while the shoes are comfortable, they do fit a little tighter than the other shoes, particularly towards the front. Not a big deal because the leather may widen a bit with more use, and if I was truly uncomfortable, I could always order the wider version. I am very happy that the heel is a little tighter, too, because slipping was an issue with my other Cobb Hill shoes, but that's not a problem here anyway because the strap is keeping the shoe in place very nicely.

I have wide flat feet and plantar fasciitis and I love Cobb Hill shoes. These are great work pumps. They are so cute and look good with dresses/skirts or work trousers. Good arch support, extremely comfortable.

I'm enjoying these shoes very much, and they're making a real positive difference with my knee pain and shin splints caused by osteoarthritis. Though I haven't found a Rockport shoe as 'pretty' as I'd prefer for my career dresses, these are still attractive and have some feminine cutouts around the top edges of the shoe. I bought both Marilyn and Angelinas and kept these Angelinas. The Marilyns are maybe 1/2" taller, but I felt it was better for my osteoarthritis to stay with the slightly lower heel of the Angelina. Otherwise, the shoes are quite similar. For the Marilyns, I liked the stacked heels better than the more 'gum' heels of this shoe. Both of these shoes have about a 3/8" gap from my heel to the back of the shoe. I have Rockport Cobb Hill shoes in the same size with heel straps instead of being enclosed, and they're not one bit too long. However, the enclosed Cobb Hills seem a bit oversized, yet a 1/2 size smaller doesn't fit the front of my foot as well. I just use a little heel insert and all is well.

These are extremely comfortable and could be work with work clothes or jeans. They are true to size and width. I just did not like the colors they came in. Was looking for something more taupe-like, beige, or neutral. The metallic was definitely metallic, and the black and brown were too harsh for the style. I feel it needed a softer color to prevent from looking frumpy.

I took these on a trip to London. I tried to break them in a tiny bit by wearing them around the house for a few hours, and that mostly worked. They are incredibly comfortable out of the box, but like any shoe, needs time to form to your foot. I only got one little blister on my ring finger toe, and this is after having walked about four miles all around the cobblestone and tarmac streets of London. The arch support is wonderful. I have very high arches, so I could always use a touch extra padding, but I had almost no arch pain after wearing these. In fact, I chose to wear these instead of my boots that had zero support and these shoes helped correct the pain! They are super cute on - just high enough to look a little darling while being daring. I can run around much more in these than my other heels.

Recommend these shoes to anyone planning to wear heels all day. They are comfortable and can be worn with pants or dresses. Wish they came in 10.5. Had to buy size 11.

Love this shoe! I had the same style in the Sandal toe this summer. So glad that I can just order the shoe and know it will work right out of the box. In the rare case that it doesn't work, free shipping and no rush to make up my mind! Thank you Zappos! I love T-straps. This looks great with dresses or slacks. Perfect heel height, and the most comfortable foot bed ever! It's like walking on pillows.

The most comfortable set of heels I have ever worn, more comfortable than some sneakers, and the fact it works with retro looks makes it even better. I have feet between an A/B and the toe box feels down-right 'roomy,' but in a good way that doesn't impact stability.

The shoe is adorable, I had been thinking about ordering this for some time, needed a W width. Unfortunately my normal size, 8.5 W was too big and I was floating in them. They were sent back. Very well made.

I had to get these in a 1/2 size smaller. I love the metallic color. They went with my dark purple Christmas party dress. They weren't as sexy as my friend's high heeled dress shoes, but by the end of the evening I was the only one not complaining about my feet hurting.

Extremely comfortable shoes without looking like old lady shoes! Thanks Zappos and Rockport! I also have two pair of the Cobb Hill Aubrey, which is more of a sandals look and is also very comfortable.

These are incredibly comfortable. The gold Sheen lends itself to matching almost any outfit. I just wish they looked a little less clunky and a little more grown-up. I am a 7 1/2 - 8 and ordered a 7 1/2. They fit perfectly.

I'm tall with size 11 feet but I still want some cute heels. These are amazing. Nice soft leather, lightweight, comfortable right out of the box and look awesome! My feet always want to step out of heels but the t-strap totally keeps my feet in place. Love the classic, retro look to these. Truly comfortable and cute. They fit my feet perfectly.

I bought these shoes because I heard Cobb Hill were an Irish brand. I inherited my mom's long narrow Irish feet. I am 5'10" and wear a 10.5N or 11N in sandals and dress shoes, which is impossible to find in stores. I love shoes and sadly return many online orders. I ordered these in metallic 11N and loved them right out of the box. I will order more of these in different colors. They have a retro style without looking "old lady-ish" or "orthopedic." I am 45, used to be a runner with a bad ankle injury, but I would wear these at age 25. I love that there is actually room in the toe box for my long toes and my heal doesn't slip with T-strap.

I like the way the shoes look, but they are very uncomfortable on my feet. This is most likely because of my misshapen feet (bunions and hammer toes).

RockPort Cobb Hill Collection - Angelina - 9w Appearance - A very classic style. A shoe any pinup girl can love! Has a buckle closure. This is where the love affair ends. Up turned toe, which some people may like the look and feel of but it is not my preference. The cut of the shoe in the front makes my feet look wider than normal and fat. Yes, I have a wide foot, but other shoes are much better and making them look sleek and girly. Comfort - The front of the shoe is cut above the big toe bone which means the shoe did not dig into the front of my foot. in the appearance of the shoe the foot bed looks super comfy; however, the shoe provided me with very little support. I like a plush heel and nice arch support. With 1 being walking on clouds and 10 standing on concert, It felt like a 2. Fit - 9w is my normal fit. The cut of the heel is very wide, so if you have a narrow heel this is not for you. Other than the heel area the fit was spot on.
