This shoe fits well (actually a fairly roomy toe box for a narrow shoe) and has decent support in the heel and mid foot arch if one is standing a lot. No support in the ball of the foot so I can imagine hurting if I walk very far. The style is not my favorite but I like that the shoe stays on and is the best office wear shoe I’ve found so far that will put up with some walking. Still trying to decide. I’ll compare with some others.

Fits great. Comfortable and well made. But even though I am relatively old, I am not as old as I hope to some day be, and so hope to find something more youthful looking for right now. I think the brown color adds to the mature woman look. I am immature.

Beautiful shoes. Beautiful leather and very well made. Very comfortable, too. I purchased my normal size and they are about a half inch too long. Very roomy toe box, which I need. Thus, I am returning for a smaller size.

What a great sensible and sturdy pair of office shoes to wear with slacks and socks. Pretty enough. Nobody is going to compliment you on them but they don't offend. All the other women in the office change into sneakers for our lunch time walk, I just head right out in these.

These cute shoes were comfortable for all day wear right out of the box. My feet have very high arches, wide forefoot and narrow heels and these fit perfectly. I also have arthritis in my feet and these shoes provided good support. If you’re on the fence about buying these go ahead and do it.

They feel pretty good; I think they will “break in” well with a little more walking. They are a tiny bit tight right at the top of the ‘V’ design. But that probably can be “worked” out by hand, like a massage, I do like the style, and even though my heel tends to slip slightly out of the heel of the shoe, the strap keeps them on my feet. If they start to slip out more as I wear them, I know there are little inserts for that. No worries.

I think these will “break in” well with a little more walking. I have trouble finding comfortable shoes (my whole life!), so hopefully, these will be a favorite.

It is cuter online. It was a heavier shoe than I wanted.

I wear an 8.5 and these fit perfectly in that size. I bought these several years ago because I wanted a leather walking shoe that wasn't a sneaker. These were perfect, and I walked all over France on a 10 day trip where I sometimes put 11 miles a day on these shoes. My feet felt just as comfortable at the end of the day as they did at the beginning. The soles worked great on cobblestones, gravel or sidewalks and always felt secure. The velcro strap makes it easy to wear these more snugly with just a sock liner, or to allow more space with a regular sock. I've worn them with jeans or on business trips with slacks and they work either way. I've had them for 3 years now and they are beginning to look a little tired so I'm buying another pair.

the material feels cheap and stiff, older versions of the same shoe are much better quality

Fit was as I expected however the shoe material seemed cheap and stiff. I have older versions of this shoe which are higher quality. Disappointed.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable. I have a lot of issues with heel and foot pain and also wear compression socks. I worked in my kitchen, standing, for several hours and wore the shoes the entire day. I did not experience any heel or foot pain and my legs did not swell. For the record, weight is not an issue. I am tall and slender and wear a 9-1/2 narrow shoe.

This is an attractive casual shoe to wear with slacks. I was looking for a shoe with a strap because I have narrow feet with a very narrow heels. The toe box is roomier than I need although the size 11 length is good. To keep my feet from sliding around, I installed foam shoe liners. It was a reasonable solution since it is becoming harder and harder to find shoes in narrow widths.

I had high hopes for these shoes based on the reviews. Alas, too tight for my bunion and the toe box fit at a funny place at the top of my foot. Tye were nice looking shoes but had to go back.

I ordered these in my usual 7M, and they fit fine and were comfortable out of the box. I have no particular foot problems. This is my third pair of Cobb Hill Petras over six or seven years. I wear them with casual clothes, most often for dog walking, errands around town, or urban exploration while traveling. They are sturdy and versatile, easy to put on and take off, the leather breathes, and they are easy to clean--all factors that make these an excellent alternative to sneakers. They hold up very well--I wear them so much and in so many different conditions that I wear them out after a while. Highly recommended.
