I wear an 8.5 and these fit perfectly in that size. I bought these several years ago because I wanted a leather walking shoe that wasn't a sneaker. These were perfect, and I walked all over France on a 10 day trip where I sometimes put 11 miles a day on these shoes. My feet felt just as comfortable at the end of the day as they did at the beginning. The soles worked great on cobblestones, gravel or sidewalks and always felt secure. The velcro strap makes it easy to wear these more snugly with just a sock liner, or to allow more space with a regular sock. I've worn them with jeans or on business trips with slacks and they work either way. I've had them for 3 years now and they are beginning to look a little tired so I'm buying another pair.

Finally! A shoe I can wear with a skirt and also walk for a long distance. I normally wear 6-1/2 2E but it was too big. The 6 2E fit much better. Order 1/2 size smaller than your normal size. They are comfortable and have padding and reasonable support. They look somewhat orthopedic but any shoe in this size and style is going to look that way. I have a wide toe and narrow heel and need a strap to keep the shoes on my feet. I also need comfort and support because I will be walking in them for several hours at a time. These check all the boxes.

I go between 9.5 and 10. I ordered size 10 but had to exchange for 9.5. They are very comfortable and stylish. I like the strap is long enough to get a nice fit. The toe box is roomy, and the heel is narrow and doesn't slide off. They felt good right out of the box, no breaking in time. They are light in weight, love that. Zappos makes it easy to return. I have no printer so I take a picture of the code they send. Then take to UPS, who scans the code, hands me a receipt and I'm on my way! Easy!

This is my second pair of the same shoe. I need Xwide so my choices are VERY limited! The first pair of these shoes wore for about 2 years, daily wear. They held up great but eventually needed replacing. The quality is excellent. The leather has held up despite my lack of care - never polished, just wiped with damp towel. The adjustable strap was a life saver as my feet swell and then deflate in the morning. I wish there were more colors and availablity of the width. Hint, Hint!

These shoes are super comfortable and they have style. They look good with casual pants and dresses. They are sturdy/supportive but not at all bulky. And the designs are very subtle (so not too cutesy).

I have had several pairs of Cobb Hill Petra shoes over the years and keep coming back to them. They wear and hold up well, they are very comfortable, and make a good looking easy walking shoe. (I do not like the look of athletic shoes and wanted a substitute for walking.) I like most of the Cobb Hill line of shoes, actually.

The fit on these were good. Very easy to wear!

These are the 4th pair of Cobb Hill Petra's I have had Red, Blue, Light Brown, and now darker brown. My orthotics fit in them and that makes them wearable for very difficult and tender feet. I really like the style and I receive compliments every time I wear them.

I have a very active job and the shoes were so comfortable but there was a point that I even forgot I was wearing new shoes. I will buy them again

This is the second pair - same style - different color. It is an exceptionally comfortable shoe. My preference has always been that comfort comes first - and, this style provides that !!!

Fit Size are fine I would like more low Mary jane styles as I wear a brace on my leg and the style is good for me!!

Wonderful, leather upper and strap. Adequate toe box and height of box. No rubbed toes! Very pleased.

Three days after these shoes arrived, I took them out of the box, put them on and went on a trip. My feet were very happy walking and walking and walking—through an aquarium one day and through a botanical garden the next. Of course they were also perfect for going through a busy airport. I am very very glad I chose this shoe from Cobb Hill.

The shoe's workmanship is perfection. They are truly beautiful. With tears I'm returning them because they have little or no padding in the sole of the toe box. They are definitely for dress-up. They would be uncomfortable if one had to stand on their feet for long periods of time.

This shoe is Amazingly comfortable. My high arch, narrow heel, wider forefoot unstable ankle from injury feet are ecstatic. Zappos could tell you how many other shoes I’ve tried! I wish that they made it in red. I yearn for a perfed taupe version for summer!! I have no idea what the person is talking about that thinks it’s not leather. The upper is leather. It says it’s leather-it smells like leather, it feels like leather. Love these shoes!!
