Too soft to lift me, yes, too soft. Fits nicely but does not lift or minimize.

I bought 2 of this style from a lingerie store- one color was perfect (light purple) but the sand color felt like something coarse thread was poking into my back around the hook edges. Looked at it as closely as possible and couldn't find the problem.

Unfortunately I've gained weight and my cup size for sure has gone up. These have been my go-to bras for YEARS. I ordered the same band, which that was fine but the cup was laughable. It was like I had sized down not up, there has to be a mistake with the original tag because there is no way it's corrected. I am so frustrated and disappointed, I am going to have to find a new brand to try.

I always want a minimizer because I'm not tall and not small but this bra does not do anything for me at all.

The bra fit was fine and actually quite comfortable. However, it did not provide any minimizing. If anything, it made me look more busty.
I have worn Wacoal for years and was excited to get this bra. I am very disappointed Unfortunately, I can't return because I wore it once.

This is the ONE bra that ALMOST fits - I need 32-I, and the smallest is 34I which is rarely in stock. Also the ONE bra that ALMOST works for my brown skin. Come on Wacoal.

I like how this bra fits me, but the lace that is wrapped around the underwire cuts into my ribs. I had to stop wearing it. Expensive mistake.

I've been buying these for many years. This blue one has tiny straps like the one sold at the N store. Very disappointing. Beautiful color but in a DD cup the straps should be wider like the black and nude version. Wish I could return it but I didn't even notice until after I washed it. Buyer beware

The fabric is scratchy and the wires poke me. I have to tug on it to pull wires away from me.

Having not worn a Wacoal bra before I thought it best to order it in 2 sizes - 34DDD and 34G. Surprisingly both cups fit perfectly. Of course the the 34G had more coverage but both bras would have worked. What did not work are the straps which, for me, were very uncomfortable. I just knew this was not a bra I would feel comfortable wearing all day.

So it has a great fit. Minimized yes. I should be thrilled.
My biggest disappointments are that it has very scratchy material and that it is very sheer. They mention a sheer lining in the description but I did not think you would see the nipples. So now I have to decide if I'm going to return it. The main picture is blue so you can't tell how see through it is.
So bummed. Why couldn't they have soft material that is not see through?

I usually wear the #85154 for the minimizer look. Mine are wearing out so thought I'd look for a different style. I tried this one (Visual Effects Minimizer) but I find the material a bit scratchy/itchy. I'm used to the silky feel in Wacoal bras and like them. I find I can't wait to take it off at the end of the day. So I'm going to try another style with a softer feel. I sure wish I could find a bra without wires that would actually hold the breasts up without the band curling.

While other minimizing Wacoal bras of the same size fit well, this one seemed to just "smash" me. I'll be returning to switch to a different one.

Even though the cups fill up the breasts, they don't fully cover the breasts under the armpit area. It's cut a little too deep causing some spillage there. I wear a 34DD. Also, the straps are made of elastic so they stretch and creates bounce. For bigger cup sizes the straps should be made with materials that doesn't stretch. I'll be returning them.

Size is incredibly small for a 42DD. I will have to buy a bra extender now. Good thing it was on sale!

First of all, I wanna say this bra is not a minimizer. If anything, it's a maximizer it makes your boobs stick out pointed like you're a Fembot from Austin Powers. I had to check the tag to make sure but it did say minimizer, it is not! I am a DD cup and I wanted a minimizer. I have ordered a minimizer from this company in the past and it was a minimizer. I couldn't find that bra so I tried this one. This Bra is terrible. I wish I could send it back, but I can't. What a waste of money!

While the cup was a comfortable fit, I needed to purchase a bra extender as it was tight around the back ... very disappointing!
