These boots were so perfect except for the distressing that truly made the boot look old and beat up. For a moment, I thought someone had worn them to participate in bull riding or mud wrestling and then returned them. When I looked at the photos on the website a bit more closely, it was evident that the beaten up and dirty look was on purpose right up to the scuff marks on the bottom of the boot and the heels. I guess if I was going to a party in the prairie and wanted to fit in with these boots, it would have been just fine.I loved the design of the boot, they fit perfectly, but I had to return them because they were just too distressed! Too bad, because they would have been beautiful the way they were made.

Love love, love these boots. I love the heel height for dancing. They look great with a skirt. They were difficult to get on because I have a high instep, but once on they were firm but comfortable. They fit close around the calves. I wore ankle socks only. The soles are very slick, I was spinning even on the carpet. I wore them around the house for a couple hours and then the next day I wore them dancing for 4 hours (and I danced almost the entire time) and then out to dinner after...8 hours from the time I left the house until I returned home. I brought a change of boots in case I needed it, but didn't. I got tons of compliments on them. I did need a boot jack to get them off but they are great. They will definitely be my "go to" boots.

Love these boots I wear them with dresses ,skirts, slacks and jeans to work and out with my gal pals to concerts and dancing- I had foot surgery a while back and this boot is my go to !

I had not been able to wear western boots in decades. I finally got my health in order and this was a gift to myself when I hit one of my goals. Needless to say I needed them to be perfect! I love the delicate floral design on these very feminine boots. The distressing is nice as well. The heel is a bit higher than some western boots that I tried but they are so comfortable that that does not matter at all. I highly recommend these boots and this brand. The quality stands out from the rest!

Hands-down the highest quality pair of boots I’ve ever owned. Don’t hesitate to buy these. I’m so glad that I did. Just beautifully made. Don’t know what else to say!

Surprisingly frumpy. Beautiful leather and well made boots, but something about the shape of the toe and the fit through the ankle made me feel like I was wearing broken in gardening boots rather than cool, good looking, and relatively expensive new boots. Also not a fan of the distressed shaft.

DO NOT TRY ON THIS BOOT WITHOUT A STRONG CAPABLE ADULT IN THE HOUSE WITH YOU BECAUSE YOU WILL NEED HELP TO GET THIS BOOT OFF!!!! You have been warned. I have long narrow feet and and extra skinny calves, cause i'm skinny and becasue the calves of size 9.5 shoes are ALWAYS bigger than those of size 8. I had no problem getting on the boot. It was sort of cute but the lack of design on the foot part, and the way tht it curled up were not selling points for me. As expected, thought the calf was not too wide, it was still wider tht I would have wanted, especially since there is nto shape in the ankle are of the boot. Yes I know that there are cowboy boots but still. So I took off the left foor and then tried to get the right off. when it would not budge ANXIETY SET IN. Yes we wear shoes all day but just like a wig or a bra, when I get through the door my tolerance for such things immediately expirea and i MUST free myself of these items. These boots were no exception. I was sweating, I cried real tears. Claustrophobia set it. I could not bear the thought of sleeping in one boot. I couldn't cut off my foot and return it with the boots. I had to call my husband from work at midnight to come home and help me with to get the boot off. At first he thought it was a joke but then he tried and tried but it would not budge. Beads of sweat ran down his face. Finally I told him that I would have to cut it off. He asked how much the boot was. I told him $495. He said to lets try somemore. After another 20 mins it finally came off. Traumatized does not begin to describe how i am feeling. You have been warned. Don't let this happen to you.

True to size and extremely comfy!! Heel looks tall in pictures but is actually super comfy to walk on. Great quality leather from Lucchese as well!!

Ok i usually buy and 8 1/2 in tennis shoes and boots, things I wear socks in and 8's in heels or dress shoes w/ thin socks, I am an in between size. I do however have a narrow foot. These feel pretty correct narrow wise for me, which means they may run narrow. BUT also we all know boots break in, sometimes molding to you foot if your foot is not pushing at the boundaries or stretching a bit if your foot it tightly filling the shoe. I guess keep that in mind. I love these as I have a pair of Frye's I also love, but they are a traditional heel for work or everyday, this has a taller, more feminine, sexy heel for dancing and going out. I do have a high arch so these are ok in that sense. Lucchese suggest buying a size down in their sizing video, so since it is Zappos, I would order your size and one down and return which ever doesn't work.

I love these boots! They are just beautiful. I got the ones in black for a specific event and they ended up not working but there was no way I was sending them back. I actually bought a half size and they were almost too small. I think they will be fine, but I would order a little bigger than usual.

I love these boots. They looked like they were used when I opened the box and that's exactly what I wanted!! I hate to wear boots that shout, "hey I got new boots!" These look beautiful but like they have been gently loved on. They feel great too. I had to order a half size larger but these fit fine. I'm sure I will wear them often and love the fact that I now own my very own pair of Lucchese boots!

This are a pair of great cowboy boots they are well made they look great and material is great. I always wanted a pair of cowboy boots and a got them. They look great thank you.

Love these boots. I'm very picky about my boots and shoes. It takes a lot to win me over, but I can ALWAYS count on lucchese too look and feel wonderful.This pair is so unique, and like every other pair of lucchese boots they only feel and look better over time. I have never been disappointed by lucchese boots and these are no exception. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a comfortable, quality boot. The round toe, faded floral design with taller heel and shaft gives them a vintage, classy look that makes them a classic and perfect for years to come.

I have SEVERAL pairs of cowboy boots and comfort-wise these are by far my favorite. I'm a size 8.5 with average calves and these fit perfectly (with socks which is how I always wear boots). They are so pretty and I love the distressed look. The slightly higher heel is very stylish and gives a great look to your legs. They have excellent support and are just so pretty and perfect! I can literally wear them all. day. long. These are the only pair that I have with a rounded toe vs a snip toe and it gives a slightly toned-down cowgirl look vs the very traditional snip toe look

Nice Bohemian look boot. Goes with most of the stuff in the closet. Unbelievably comfortable right out of the box! Nice fit for a girl with a little meat on her bones, not too tight. Get lots of compliments.

I purchased this boot in black. They were beautiful, but too big in almost every way. I don't think sizing down would have done anything for me. The foot bed in the ball was incredibly wide and the calf was enormous. My legs were drowning in the shaft. The leather (for the black boot) is not distressed like the tan boot. It was glossy and stitched well on the pair I received. If these were narrower in the ball and shaft, I would have sized down and kept them.

LOVED these boots instantly and wore them straight away. Only problem is they loosened over the day and are slightly big. And now I can't return cause they've been worn. Grr. Would have gone a half size down. Gorgeous gorgeous boot tho. Highly recommend.

Felt true to size, but the top of foot too wide. I wear size 8 and am on the wider size but these were just too wide.

Loved these but had to return. Very wide top of foot (dorsal); however the length felt true to size. My foot is on the wider side , because I wear flats during the summer, and am a size 8. If I had an even wider and fatter feet I believe these would have fit perfect. The tops are nice & narrow and I'm a 15" circumference. The stitching & heel were great too.

I actually liked the beat up look of these boots, but what I didn’t like was how prominent the floral design was. It’s very obvious if you’re within 20 ft of them, and I was expecting them to be much more muted. The stitched design was also very red/orange-hued, when I expected it to blend more seamlessly with the boot. The fit and style of the boot was great, I just wish they were a plain brown/tan. Unfortunately I will be returning.
