I wrote a review about these shortly after I first received them 9 months ago and wanted to write an update. (There are only 3 reviews total for these so hopefully all you fellow Zappos shoppers will see both.) These boots are still amazing and I love them even more than I expressed in my original review!!! I've worn them constantly over the last 9 months, even all thru summer. I had a hard time wearing other shoes because these are just so comfortable and look so cool. The leather feels better and better with time and the insole is still nice and squishy and cushioned. I've walked countless miles in them. My walk home from work is 3 miles and I will only wear these for any long walks I take! I'm actually considering buying another pair for future wear, although I don't see these having any issues anytime soon. I can't remember if I mentioned this in my original review but I don't find regular Dr. Martens soles that comfortable. They aren't padded as much as I need and the pitch of the heel (although it is a low heel) hurts my feet a bit. But this Talib style is flat and has a cushioned insole, so I find them to be far more comfortable than the traditional Docs sole.

This shoe LOOKS great and FEELS great but OH MY GOD is it annoying. It's loud. It's squeaky. Have you ever seen that episode of Spongebob with the squeaky boots? Because those are THESE boots! They don't shut up. I have tried numerous remedies and all only seem temporary. No long term fix for my SQUEAKY BOOTS! Sad.

Looove these! I was able to wear them nearly right out of the box. I have four other pairs of Dr Martens, three of them 1460s, but these feel very different. While the leather isn't as stiff as those, it's still a bit stiff. I simply wore them around my apartment a bit and once I determined they fit well I rubbed some of my trusty DM Wonder Balsam on them. It softens and protects (just in time for our first real snow of the season!) I wore them out the very next day, but to be on the safe side I still stuck to my usual system of breaking in by wearing a thin pair of socks under a thick pair to prevent rubbing/blisters. The insole in these is very different than all my other DMs. These are super cushy and feel amazing! Also, they're flatter than most other DMs since there isn't a raised heel and feel more like a sneaker in that regard. The design is so cool. As for size, they fit true to DM sizing. I wear the same size in these as I do in all my boots and my other shoes, but that might not be the case for everyone. Some people feel DMs run large so I recommend trying some on in a store if you've never had a pair. All in all, they're great and I'm going to find it hard to not wear them all the time!

I got the UK 10, which is supposedly a US 11, and I normally wear a US 10.5, and they're about a half size too long, so the length is about what they claim. They are a little narrow for me, I wear an E width, these are D width, so the width is about what they claim too. Though the leather is a bit softer than other Docs I've had in the past, it still takes some breaking in. A little bit of pain involved there if you normally wear tennis shoes like I do. They look killer. Shiny and sleek. I would recommend to a friend.

Great looking well constructed boots, without frills. My regular wear is classic Vans, and these have the same feel. Sizing is definitely not standard- I usually wear a solid size 12 US, I ordered the UK11, which supposedly equals a US size 12. Needless to say I was so enthusiastic about the new boots that I put them on for a weekend trip without really trying them indoors first---dang- now stuck with a pair of boots that are too big.

The shoes are good except that already after only 5-8 times wearing the back strap to help pull on the boot ripped off.
