I just recently had my 4th child & my body is still trying to get back to where it was. I am pushing 40 & I want clothes that are comfortable but stylish while chasing kids. This jacket is great! I can layer it & it keeps me warm on those colder CO days & on days that are nicer, I can still have a jacket that's comfortable but not too heavy. Great purchase!

Not as heavy as I thought it would be. Not sure it will be warm enough for winter in the Midwest, but nice late fall jacket.

I used this jacket around Thanksgiving in DC (mid to high 40's) mostly while walking around the city. Its very light and comfortable yet the down fill does great to keep you warm. The jacket itself is stylish (especially the slanting zipper) and I like how it sits along the contours of your body. I wish they had more colors to choose from but I would surely recommend this jacket to anyone. Money well spent.

Although this garment appears to be well made I had to go up in size. I'm 5'9, 165, and a 34DDD. I typically wear a Medium in my other NorthFace clothing unless I want a the clothing to be rather loose fitting. This jacket fit very snug in the bust area and definately had no room to layer in a size Medium. The jacket is lightweight and gave the impression that it would be very comfortable hitting the slopes or running to the grocery store.

I bought this coat because I needed a little bit of a warmer jacket for winter. I have other North Face jackets, but I wanted something warm and lightweight. I absolutely love it! I get a little chilly when it hits 0 degrees, but that is to be expected.

I thought this was a winter coat, I live in Alaska. It is clearly not a winter coat. I like it, fits great, just don't buy this for cold winters. The fluffy part of the coat does not extend to sides, which you can't tell from the pictures. The sides are a different material that allow cold air in.

I always wear XS North Face. ordered S because everyone said runs small. Well, the rear upper part of back poofed out, too long. I'm 101 lbs, 34A, SO not big in chest and my arms are not big. Feels soft and would have loved to keep

SO, I loved everything about this jacket!! Fit was great and flattering, it was lightweight, it was so comfortable. I ordered it in white, however, and a lot of the down feathers inside are brown... and they show through the white fabric :-( I'd absolutely buy the jacket in another color instead, but none of the other colors really excite me and I don't need another black jacket. It's such a shame because the jacket is perfect in every other way! (I wouldn't ski in it--this is for around town in the winter.)

Too small could barely zip my XL....my daughter is 11...5'4...about 140lbs...ordered a women medium....too tight on her....Arms, fit good, zippered up,but too tight. The stretch is so stretchy....I got XL....doesn't fit around my hips (pear shaped)...sent them both back.

I bought this as a ski jacket but the vents on the side make it too lightweight. Not what I expected from the picture.

I don't like the side materials. seems like it defeats the purpose and would be cold.

This jacket was cute, but I ordered the TNF White and the down feathers showed through. At first I thought it was stained, but it was just some of the darker down showing through the material. In hindsight, I probably should have known and this may not be a deal breaker for some, but I returned the jacket.

The jacket has very big sides inserts from very different starchy material, which is not flattering and makes a jacket not very warm. I am going to return the jacket.

Jacket fits nice and comfortable however this jacket is more for spring and fall. Not recommended for bone chilling weather. North face should have categorized this jacket for lifestyle and not insulated. It's partial insulated.

Got mine in grey and had to keep it because at that time I needed to have a second down jacket to change with my other one I got from Arc'teryx. I do not love this because it is not all down, it has a little too much of the stretchy fleece parts which make it look cheaper and not as warm. Too much stretchy fleece in the sleeves which I think makes the sleeves a little too wide too. Overall condition, this TNF jacket is just an okay one for me.

Love it except it isn't warm. More for fall or spring. For the price it should be warm as well as stylish.

The picture is deceiving, it doesn't show the different fabric under the arms and along the side of the body. That fabric is not warm from a Minnesota winter. Since I live in an area at least 300 miles away from one of your stores I will not be returning it.
