The pants look great, fit well and keep me warm.

Love this style and quality of pants. But the Color was a periwinkle and not really a blue at all. Not a "cave blue"

Perfect for skiing!

Great for skiing. Kept me warm, deep pockets, all around great. Would like to see cargo pockets on both sides instead of just one but otherwise, absolutely no complaints at all!

Quite warm. Kept me dry from the snow. Light weight and fit well. A good amount of pockets.

Solid material & zippers, warm, waterproof, stretch fitted, true-to-size - multi-mountain/ski tested in some pretty harsh conditions. Held up extremely well. I was also nervous they would be too yellow and they aren't, they are more of a light brown/dark khaki color. Highly recommend.

6'7", 210lbs, Athletic build. Tried out the LT size, which has a 34.5" inseam. I wear a 34" W x 36" Inseam in jeans. These snow pants just fit a bit too short on my boots. Wish they were longer.

Pants were perfect for deep snow at Wolf Creek and the side vents were particularly nice on a couple warm days up there. The pants fit great and very comfortable/flexible in knees.

Excellent Product Highly Satisfied

Very happy with the purchase. Great fit, great warmth from 5 to 40 degrees (happily these are the extremes so far this season), great waterproofing. As a ski instructor I have used these pants in sunshine, rain, and wind, and they have worked to perfection.

I enjoyed the color and overall benefit of these but the leg opening at the bottom is too wide. I had to return them. I will look for other options for snow pants

I bought these mainly for winter hiking. I was hoping for more of a slimmer fit. These are pretty baggy from the thigh down, which would be great if I was skiing or snowboarding. The baggier fit makes it great for movement and makes it easy to fit the legs over ski boots. But when I'm hiking with these on, it just feels cumbersome. I All I hear is the swishing of pant legs rubbing together. I wish TNF would cater more to the hiking community. So many of their products are geared toward the winter and extreme sports crowd. Not everyone is tearing up the slopes or hanging from granite rock ledges.

High quality materials and well made

I currently have two new pair of Northface Freedom insulated pants. I use them for alpine skiing. Previously, I had one of the first pair that Northface put on the market several years ago. The new pair replaced the old pair. The freedom pants are the only one I consider for skiing in Colorado. They provide incredible warmth even while sitting on a lift chair. Wind proof and water proof and now Northface has come out with great colors opposed to the traditional black or gray. Bottom line exceptional material and quality.

My son loved. He was complimented a lot while snow boarding.
