Well fitting and does the job. I ski 15-20 days a season and this has held up to abuse.

This is the best lightweight insulated pants I have ever bought. These are quality workmanship. I highly recommend them.

Love these pants. Shopped around online quite a bit and selected these. Went skiing in Brianhead and they functioned perfectly. Love the velcro adjustors on the hips. The material stood up to the snow storm that was dumping during the ski runs and kept me warm, yes I wore thermals under it. I didn't need a belt although the loops allow for one. I didn't use a suspender either. The pants stayed on comfortably, no sagging around the hips or butt. The gators are made tough and were easy to pull over the ski boots. My girlfriend also bought a pair and she was very happy with hers.

Well made, durable and functional. I own several pairs of Freedom Pants. Both non insulated and insulated. Love these pants.

Quality construction, light weight, and not so baggy fit. For the price, warranty, and waterproof level, this is an easy recommendation for me!
For the manufacturer, if you're reading this, some suggestions for the next version:
-Make the inner leg vents a little longer.
-Currently the leg reinforcements are designed for skiing, maybe also add reinforcements for snowboarding as well.

Used the pants recently for a skiing trip. Got the job done well, fit was loose enough for extra layers underneath. Not once did I feel like my legs were cold.

Great for skiing. What worried it wound not be warm enough but not a problem. I do recommend going shorter so you do not drag the ground with the bottoms of the pant leg

Snowboarding pants that get the job done. I have had the same pants before and lasted me close to 10 years and will still keep and continue to use both pairs now.

I wore these pants on an east coast weekend ski trip and was very impressed with the fit and performance. I'm 6'1" 175 lbs with a 34" waist and the fit with the Medium was great. The ability to adjust the waist with the velcro tabs throughout the day is a bonus. The length is just right for me and the gaiters on the bottom fit snug around my ski boots and did not ride up or let in snow. I carried a lot of items in the three pockets and everything was held safely and securely on and off the slopes. My lower body stayed completely dry, which was impressive with the wet and slushy snow conditions that weekend. It was also nice to open the vents and feel the breeze a couple of times during the warmer part of the days. No visible wear or damage after plenty of falls and kneeling/sitting on rough concrete walkways throughout the day. These pants were perfect for my needs and I plan to keep them for future snow days and ski trips.

Purchased these ski pants for a big ski trip out west this week. The pants are well made, warm, and have most of the necessary features you'd expect from ski pants. The reason for the 4 stars (vs. 5) are that there are a few minor things off about them. Primarily, the pants are a bit too long - I'm almost 5'11' and when I take off my ski boots to walk in my sneakers, the lining would drag on the ground. Also, there's no zipper on the boot linings or pants so it's just a simple pull over to cover the boot whereas my old ski pants had a nice zipper and button closure on the boot lining and pants which made it much easier to mange. Lastly, there's only 1 smaller cargo pocket besides the hip pockets which is somewhat limiting.
