I love these boots. If only they were easier to pull on. There's no pull loop and no zipper, so even if you adjust the belt buckle to the last hole, they are still difficult to quickly slip on. Once they are on, they are very comfortable and cute.

I've been wearing Chacos for 10 years (mostly their sandals) and I love them. These are cute boots and very comfortable, once you get your foot inside! I would suggest going up a half size, if not a full size in these boots though, they seem to run small, but they are also very snug and hard to get on in general. I have to completely unbuckle the strap and even then they are a little difficult to put on, other than that, I love them.

I first ordered a size 10 1/2, my usual boot size, but had to send back for a 10. They don't fit perfectly by any means–a bit too narrow in the forefront/toes and my heel slips. But I'm hard to fit (duck-shaped feet) and these are better than most. And I think the leather will stretch out in the front since there are no cross seams. I tried another chaco boot style and they were tighter in the forefront & toes and I could tell they woudln't stretch enough due to where the seams were. As others have said, the buckles are a real pain and I also had to have 2 further holes punched and the straps are still loose. But that mens, with a lot of effort, I can get them on and off without unbluckling. I appreciate that they are natural materials–leather and wool–and the footbed is comfortable. Just wish they would make with wider & more foot-shapted toes and narrower heels especially since they don't lace up to tighten. Probably if you have a more average-shaped foot they will work well.

I loved this boot. The fit was great and I liked the style. However , I wonder if anyone tested the buckle on the shoe. I tried it on in a store and the man fitting me complained about how hard it was to buckle. I wanted it in black , so I ordered it from Zappos. I have tried but I cannot manage the buckle, so I am returning them. Fix this problem and I would love to buy them.

I LOVE these boots! I have a plethora of feet issues and finding shoes that accommodate my feet and look cute is often quite difficult. Enter the Chaco Hopi. I wore these right out of the box on a 2.5 mile walk and I could have gone another 5 miles easily. I used their insole, but can remove it and put in my orthopedics if necessary. The insoles have excellent arch support. Some might find it too high, but you can put in your own inserts no problem. I loved the arch, supported my plantar fasciitis well. They feel solid, very well made, but not too heavy. Very cute, I got compliments on them right away.

Love these boots! And that they are waterproof is marvelous, as we have had a soggy start to our NW Fall season. My feet are not super wide, but enough that these need a little break in period to be perfectly comfortable, but not bad. I also echo what other reviewers said about being hard to get on. I've loosened the buckle all the way, but sure would be nice to add a pull loop for getting them on. Other than that, I'm sure I will be wearing these until next summer.

The reviews are correct. i Have narrow feet and it took extra time to get my foot in this boot. I did return because of that but I will aslo add that i am used the ease of slipping on UGgs boots. These are very comfortable to walk in. I did not try and undo the buckle. I wanted boots that were easy to slip on at the door and go. Unfortunatly these were not it.

I love these boots. Chaco's are the best. I live in my Chaco sandals in the summer, and now I have Chaco's to wear all winter too! They are a little tight to pull on but that means they stay snug on my feet.

Love these! I was looking for a boot for early and late winter and shopping since my real winter boots are super awesome pac boots for extreme cold. These fit the bill. I originally purchased a 6.5, half size bigger than I usually wear but they were way too long. The 6 is just right, plenty of room for heavy socks if I wish and enough width. I have no problem slipping them on and off. I'm wondering if those with larger feet have a problem because maybe the width of the ankle part does not increase in the same proportion as the length of the footbed. Don't know. I just know that I am very happy with these and they are warm enough for out and about in town even on the coldest days.

These are my favorite shoes. I have stuck to Chaco but lately I've noticed their quality downgrade in the sandals so I was hoping that their new line of boots would be a good transition for me for daily winter wear. Fast forward to spring, these boots are all I want to wear even when it's not so cold out. The quality is superb. I own the Barbary too (more like a sneaker) but I've ended up getting so much more wear out of these, since they feel softer and more flexible, slightly loose and that helps with ventilation. I even have the Hopi as an extra pair of slippers... Since my feet are so comfortable wearing these. Now with sizing, let me tell you, I'm usually an 8.5 in closed toed shoes but I have these in a 9.5 and they fit very well, (with some wiggle room in the toes so I'm not squished) and the arch and heel cup are a perfect, comfortable fit. Maybe I could wear a 9 also? I didn't want to bother exchanging though because these feel so great already. The buckle hasn't been an issue to me, I mean, it's a lot easier than lace ups. Overall, most comfortable Chaco shoe I've tried. Very, Very happy.

I love Chaco- I Love these boots- a bit hard to get on at first but they have nice give with the felted wool and now are really comfortable. Excellent arch support- first day almost felt like too much but now they are broken in they are comfy and super warm! The variegated color pattern did not match on my first pair and didn't like it- but awesome Zappos exchanged no problem and I am way happy with these. I haven't tested out how water resistant they are, but it is wool so I am not using these as snow boots.

These are great boots! Super comfortable and cute. I'm a 7, but ordered an 8 so could wear my thick socks with them. I can see what other reviews mean about being able to slip these on and off. I can slip these on with some force while it's buckled on the last hole, but if had ordered my regular size I don't see being able to slip these on. If I have on thick socks I definitely cannot slip these on while buckled. It's a little annoying. Would be great if the buckle was designed like the sandals for quicker tightening and loosening. That said, these boots are still fantastic as far as warmth, comfort, cuteness, and durability. I've worn them thru puddles and mud; some water will come thru the wool, but my feet stayed dry. But, I would imagine if the wool got saturated, you'd be SOL with wet feet. The brown and green are exactly as pictured. I highly recommend these awesome little boots, as long as you don't mind the buckling! :)

Love these. I wear Chacos all summer and have trouble finding boots with a comfortable insole, so when I realized Chaco made boots, I jumped on them. And, they're great! I ordered up a half size (I usually wear an 8, so I ordered an 8.5) to accommodate a double layer of wool socks. Like others have said, they don't slip on/slip off super easy, but I think that will get better once they're broken in a little more.

Very comfortable boot and very warm. The sole and insole of the boot provide a lot of cushioning. I loved the arch support in these boots, but my problem feet do better with a firmer sole/insole combination so I will reluctantly return these.

Great for those who have wide calves.

This boot is built more like a snow boot. It is comfortable yet a little stiff. I had no issue getting it on and off like some reviews mentioned. Cute boot just not the feel I was looking for.

I'm so torn on these shoes. They are very comfortable once they are on, which I expect from Chacos. But, as many others have mentioned, the buckle/strap doesn't have much give and can make it difficult to put on. When I had the buckle at the loosest setting, I was able to put it on easier but then the boot looked too loose. I tightened the buckle and it now looks better, but it not as easy to put on/off. I have taken it on/off several times, and it is getting easier, but I worry that the small amount of elastic that is on the strap will stretch out. I ordered the black and it looks nice, however I wish the sole was black or grey instead of such a contrasting color. I think these will unfortunately go back, and I will wait for next year's model.

I wanted to try these after being happy with the Chaco Sloan. The Sloan fit well with thin socks but too tight for thick socks, so on this boot I sized up to a 10.5 when I usually wear a 10. The upper part of the boot was too loose and there's no real way to tighten it which was awkward with jeans over. The good thing is there is some elastic on the strap so it's possible to slip them on and off. In the end I decided to return them because they were too loose, and I knew sizing down would just result in them being too tight on the foot but still loose around the ankle. If only they had a zipper!!

These are beautiful boot but I am returning them because the strap/buckle combination - which when fastened does bring the boots close to the leg for comfort and warmth is just far too difficult to deal with when putting on and taking off these boots.

Loved the look of these, but they're super hard to get on/off. I'm a Chaco super-fan... so hopefully they'll come out with an easier on/off boot!

I ordered the Sandstone color and received a very green pair of boots not at all like the color pictured. It would have saved everyone time and trouble if this was corrected. The buckle needs to be undone to get them on, which is inconvenient especially since they are called "pull-on" boots.

For me this was a total fail. I ordered up 1/2 size and it was still too small. On top of that there were weird things going on in each boot, things digging into me in odd places on one, and seaming problems on the other. Cute concept, terrible execution.

I like these boots but am returning them. Along with other reviewers, I felt like they were difficult to get on. Once they are on, they are cute. They are a little short for my liking but super comfortable and if I were keeping them, I would not hesitate to do lots of walking in them. The color also seemed a bit off. I order the sandstone but when I opened the box, I thought they had sent the wrong color because they are very green. I didn't mind the color, but I wouldn't describe it as sandstone at all.
