I loved the way this boot looked online but when I received it and tried it on, it was far more bulky than I expected. The area around the ankle up to the calf does not transition right. It just didn't look nice on me at all. Very disappointed because they are super warm and I'm sure would have made fantastic winter boots for upstate NY!

These boots do not sit right from the ankle up. The suede caves in and uncomfortable around the heel. Although they look nice in the picture the boots are not constructed well from ankle up. Disappointed.

Fantastic looking and although it's only fall, they seem to be well made, waterproof, and warm. They are not heavy and bulky like other brands.

The lower foot portion not well insulated for a winter boot. Left foot had defect which for a columbia boot I would have expected that they are evaluated before shipping!

Needed warm boots to get through the snow while walking to work &aback daily. About a mile each way and current boots did not keep my feet warm. These are super cute boots. I bought my usual size and they fit great. Won't know until the snow flies but they feel like they are going to be really warm. I like that they come with more neutral laces. I will probably switch them out. I liked the color but not necessarily the green laces.

Obsessed with these boots! They are so warm and super comfortable have worn them on every ski trip we have gone on! Excellent!

These are on the bulkier side, as other reviewers have mentioned, but still really cute in a snow-bunny sort of way. I usually wear an 8.5 in North Face (8 elsewhere), and that's the size I took in these. I wore them with heavy wool socks and my feet stayed pretty warm all day. The only time I could really feel the cold was when I got stuck waiting on the train platform for 45 minutes, but as long as you're not planning on standing still on concrete, they do a good job.

Fantastic boot! And Zappos is an unreal company-love them!! Definitely order a size up. I used in some snow (2 inches), slush and ice, great traction, warmth and waterproffness is great! Its a rubber footed boot so doubling up socks is a must but my feet were sweating! Functional for snow and slush, also very cute. But those complaining about ankle buldge must be seekjng a fashion boot-this is not it. You want a great warm easy to move around boot-this is it!

This boot fit me perfectly! Feels like heaven! I had no issues around the ankle area with it being saggy at all especially since you can tighten it up with the laces. They feel super warm and look great! And it has a great arch support which is hard for me to find with the bad feet that I have. Very excited to have found these!

I love that the foot of these boots are narrow and don't make my feet look huge and wide like most snow boots do. Ultimately I returned them only because I liked a different North Face boot, with the same foot but in a grey color. Cute, comfy and fun.

It sagged at the ankle. I liked that the bottom was rubber. They ran a little small. I could not get thick socks on with them. Most of all, suede on snow boots? I am returning them because I do not want tons of salt stains. Serious design flaw, North Face.

Cheap! I bought the North Face Shellista Lace 5 years ago and finally decided to trade them in for a new set, I love those boots and had high hopes for these. Boy was I wrong. The new upper material is cheap and loud, feels like it is made out of recycled bottles. What used to be high quality durable suede is now the cheapest thing ever, and the rubber uppers also look terrible. These boots went from being wonderful, high quality, long lasting boots to cheap and kind of crappy looking.

If these are anything like the The North Face Shellista Lace, the boot is very warm and keeps your feet dry. However, the boot bunches up around the ankle, which is very uncomfortable and looks weird too.

Put them on for the first time and one of the rings the laces go through broke. I returned them. Couldn’t believe that the first time I put them on they broke.
