I really love these shoes! I needed them for a trip I am taking this winter and have tested them out in similar situations in which I'll be. They are great, and very true to how they are advertised. PLUS they are cute, sometimes you can't get a shoe that can do a good job and look good. This one can. I ordered a half a size larger than my own so I would have room for thick socks and they actually fit my better then I thought. There is still room for thick socks but I can wear them with normal socks as well and my feet won't slide everywhere. I definitely recommend!

Very, very comfortable boots right out of box. Cute! Color has just enough grey tones in it to be very neutral and go with almost anything! I usually wear a size 7.5 or 8. I chose the 8 since I want to be able to wear with thinker socks. Very good support too!

Bought these after healing from two sprained ankles so I could have a sense of support, and also to break in for an upcoming hike. Usually wear a 7.5 but got an 8 and they fit perfectly. Super comfy and sturdy, can't wait to get on some trails!

I haven't worn them out in the world yet, and I'm still kinda on the fence about keeping them. They fit really well and are comfortable. But, I got them in black and they look a bit like a men's shoe. If they came in a different color, I'd keep them for sure.

I had my eye on these for probably 3 months before I finally bought them. I LOVE them so much! They are stylish but super comfortable and practical. The laces were way too long, and they obviously go with the shoe, so I didn't want to replace them. I bought some heat shrink tubing at the hardware store and shortened them myself and now they're perfect. I'm looking forward to wearing these on an upcoming trip that will involve a lot of walking.

I really like the look of these! I normally wear a size 9.5, so I ordered a 10 for room for thicker socks, but the 10 was too tight so I ended up exchanging for a 10.5. Because of that, I'd say they run small. They are very stiff so will need to be broken in, but they match my North Face wind-breaker perfectly and gray goes with everything!

I love how the boots look but not how they felt. Out of the box, the ankle area felt stiff and quite uncomfortable. The boots are so stylish, and while I bought them intending to use as hiking boots, they aren’t even comfortable enough for me to keep for daily, short walks. Sending back :(

The boots were comfortable except for the fact they hit oddly on the top of my ankles. If it wasn't for that i would have kept them.

generally use them to walk outdoors when it is wet or snowy. if you use the top hooks for the laces they rub against the back of your leg. When I suggested that the laces were way too long and dragged on the ground even when tied into a big bow I was told that the laces are not meant to be tied but tucked in under the tongue as shown in the picture. If this was the case they would be loose and not very safe for hiking.

I bought these boots for my daughter because she really liked the look of my North Face men's Back-to-Berkley Men's boot. (I really like the men's Back-to-Berkley because they're really comfortable and look great.) One would think that the North Face women's Back-to Berkley boots would be nearly identical to the men's boot in this same style, but they're not even close. Even though the men's women's boots are the exact same price, the women's Back-to-Berkley boots have a cheap looking mesh upper covering the top of the boots that doesn't look anything like the men's Back-to-Berkley all leather boots. It has to be a lot cheaper for North Face to make the boots with the mesh instead of the leather, but there's no discount for the women's boots with the cheap mesh. In fact, I'm not sure how North Face can justify selling to women a much more cheaply made product under a similar style-name for the same price as the all-leather men's boot. I like North Face Products, but the women's Back-to Berkley boots are a big miss in my opinion.

I ended up returning these. I wanted all-black hiking boots and I think these fall under the new category of "hiker chic" footwear that are veering into sneaker territory. I doubt the ability to handle terrain and the durability/color longevity of the black suede. When I looked down at my feet, I didn't think the toe of the shoe looked all that cute, which is such a bummer because the warm fleece lining would've been great for all weather conditions.

I LOVE the way these boots look. I know they are not 100% for hiking or anything, but I would never think it would be soaked wet in little rain. I bought them last year, I wore them few times in the city in no rain, they were fine, they look absolutely cool, are super comfy. Now, 4 days ago I went to an easy hiking trail in mountains, nothing hardcore. On the very first day there was rain, not like pouring, but little shower for about an hour. I reached the shelter completely wet, with my socks completely wet. The next day I had to stay in the shelter just waiting for them to dry as I didn't take any other shoes. :/

Bought these shoes to my trip to Europe during the winter months. Used them for 4 months to "break them" took them to Europe and became the most uncomfortable shoes i have ever used for walking. Do not buy if you plan to walk 10+ hrs a day.

Really trendy looking books, comfortable but extremely terrible with any slippery surface!! Bought this boot to wear everyday, and I've had too many close encounters

Hated how they looked in person and they fit very very loose. I had to cinch the shoe laces up tight just to keep them from flopping on my feet like clown shoes.

I am so disappointed with these boots. These are meant to be waterproof but they are definitely not. I was bought these boots as a present from my parents when I moved to Vancouver a few months back. The boots are fine to wear walking in the summer, but for wearing in any sort of rain my feet get totally soaksd through.
DONT GET IF YOURE WANTING TO WEAR IN ANY SORT OF RAIN/SNOW!

I have bought this shoe 2 days ago and wear it in rainy weather yesterday. It immediately gets wet. I actually bought another shoe from north face, but it also got wet so I returned it, it is accepted and I paid more for back-to-berkeley boots. However this one also quickly gets wet. I think what I understand from waterproof is not the same with what this brand offers. I will also return this shoes. And I hope they will give me a real waterproof shoes or my money back.
