Get a bigger size! Truly, I never have to buy a full size up but this shoe doesn't even compare from the exterior with my other shoes, or the other sized shoes I tried -- it looks an inch shorter! I thought it was mis-marked. Plus there's the removable liner which is probably thicker than more shoes' lining material, so it's already bound to be tight fit with this style of boot. Other than that the style and design looks great. Removable liner is synthetic and probably hand washable, or maybe machine and air dry? The Faux covers any overhang of liner. Love the added front center pull tap location on the laces (the Sorels I tried also have that, but they don't have removable liners). The center anchor allows you/the laces to really cutom shape the boot to your feet/ankles. Looks like it will have good traction, too.

Based on others' reviews, I went up a shoe size (got size 9) from my regular size (8) and it was good I did. My feet slide snugly into the boots, but there is a teensy bit of extra room at the heel. A half size bigger would have been perfect, but my normal size would have been too small. Unfortunately, these don't come in half sizes. They are really warm and the traction is good. The laces are long and sturdy and it is easy to pull the flaps tight around your leg. They look fabulous (I got the white ones) and bonus, they're made in the US of A! Great boots!

Had to return these. Much too tight and short.

My daughter wore them for a walk with snow shoes and ended up with two large blisters on her heels.

I really wanted these to fit. Liked the style, arch support and the warmth rating. However, the heel area was very wide and I couldn’t keep my feet in them. The toe area was also a bit narrower. The length was right so I couldn’t have tried a smaller or larger size.

I normally wear an 8.5/9 in athletic shoes and ordered these in a 9. The toe box was tight, while the heel was a bit loose. The boots fit well as far as length, though. They were very warm and the arch support would have been good if it had hit at the arch rather than a little further up, where it squeezed in at the toe box.

Love Kamik but not these! Way too narrow and uncomfortable. Back they go.

These boots were way too small..they were tight on my feet even with thin ankle socks on. I felt that they were rather clunky and not easy to walk around in either and that was only walking around in my living room on hardwood floors. Returned them and decided to order a pair of Sorels instead now that the boot I wanted is in stock again.

Well, I ordered these boots 14 months ago. They got some use last winter, but not a lot because there's not much snow here. Today I was wearing them for the third time this season and a mile away from my house the lace broke leaving me walking awkwardly through 11" of snow with one loose boot. I'm not super impressed that they don't wear well when this brand is supposed to be reliable. If I lived somewhere where it snowed a lot I could understand this happening but I probably only wore the boots 5-10 times last year.

I've ordered 2 sizes and they just feel to tight.

I bought a size 8 and it was too small with the insulated insert and too big without it. Sent it back to exchange for a different style.

Narrow and small! Be warned and order accordingly. In a light sock my feet were being squeezed width-wise at the ball. Really uncomfortable. I wear a 7.5 in regular shoes this size 8 felt like a 7. Returning it.
