Great gloves for active use with poles. My go to approach/uphill glove in all but the coldest weather. Keeps hands warm on back and vents sweat through palms.

Nice glove to wear walking to the bus on a wet and chilly morning. Keeps the wind out but still not too bulky so you can tie your shoelaces or help your kid with the zipper without having to take them off. A little difficult to use the sensory pad on the thumb but the index finger works great if I need to use my phone.

I wear these as a stand-alone glove in cool weather, and with a PL100 or PL400 underneath in cold weather. I bought them one size bigger to layer and it works perfectly.

These gloves got me through bike rides in sub freezing weather. My hands were toasty warm the whole time.

I bought these to use inside of the meteor mitts instead of the fleece liner that comes with them. I like being able to pull of the mitt shell and have a glove liner instead of a mitt liner. Took them out ice fishing and my hands stayed warm in the gloves alone in 20 degree weather but i run hot. (might be a little cold in that weather for cold blooded people) All in all a great glove and i will be buying more since my originals have turned into my ice fishing gloves.

Have been using this for bike commuting in the cold and rain. They do a great job at blocking the wind, and are not too bulky so I can maintain dexterity when they are on. Even in pouring rain in the cold Canadian weather, my hands stay warm.
They aren't articulated or with pre-bend fingers and I notice a little bit stitching pushes on my fingertips when they are holding the bars continually, but for my uses that is perfectly fine, although does suggest they don't have a huge amount of stretch built in.

Bought for travel to and from ski hill as well as winter hiking and snowshoeing. Great for driving! Warm and windproof. Like the touch sensitive fingers for picture taking.

I really like the gloves. I got picked the large, which usually work for me but was too small (I'll buy XL next time). So I gave the gloves to my wife. They are now her go to gloves, which makes me a winner even though I still need a pair of gloves.

I really like these gloves. They have held up well so far.
They have kept my hands warm into the low 20's.

Simply put- quality liners that do they job they're advertised to do.
Very lightweight liners that fit well, giving me the dexterity I love in thin gloves. The silicone grip on the palms and fingertips allow me to use these gloves effectively with objects that would otherwise be impossible to manipulate with gloves.
These are my go-to gloves in temps above 20 F.

I got these Backstop GoreTex gloves for cool, windy days in the 30's and 40's. So far I've found they do work well on those kinds of days. They give some warmth, block quite a bit of wind, and are somewhat breathable as well. They work well for walking, jogging, and hiking. They are not water resistant at all. And the fit is slightly off. In other OR gloves I wear an XL, but these Backstop XLs are slightly too big. In other words, they run a tiny bit larger than other OR gloves I own. But they are nice and I do recommend them.

Bought these gloves for general outdoor activities, most recently hiking in intermittent rain and steady wind. Quite warm, water resistant at least now while they are new, light weight, pack small. Great set of features. One drawback is that the XL is really an ambitious "large", not really XL. OR should add a real XL. Then I would give 5 stars!

Good base liner glove. Good alone for autumn conditions in Canada, but not warm enough for Canadian winters.

Great light weight gloves that will keep your hands warm if they are already warm. Great for hiking, skiing, doing dexterous things in moderate to cold conditions. Though, if you're like me and fall alot while skiing their water resistance gives in and they'll get wet/freeze.

I use these gloves as a day to day commuter glove in cold (for the NW) weather. Purchased them to replace a pair of WindStopper gloves that got lost. I primarily wear them to ride my bike on my daily commute. I was a little disappointed that these lacked the windproof qualities I was expecting. Overall, they do the job on mild to somewhat cold days, but temps in the mid to low 30s left me wanting more. Otherwise, great grip, the sensor feature works great w/ my cell's touch screen, and they do the job overall.

The stitching on one of the seams started to unravel within a week of use (I've noticed this problem on several items that I've purchased from OR in the last couple years). Unfortunately, before I could return them my puppy chewed the fingers because they smelled like dog treats - I often use them to walk the dog. I bought a second pair because I like the design. Thankfully, the second pair didn't have any problems with the stitching. I mainly use these in the fall/winter/early spring to walk my dog. When it gets to freezing, my fingers get a little cold and I usually put my hands in my pockets, but my fingers usually get pretty cold. I tried to use these biking in the winter (Seattle/Geneva, Switzerland), but the windstopper wasn't enough to keep my hands warm.

These are a quality product with good stick pattern and material that will last. Great for the outdoorsman whether it is hunting, fishing or just hiking.
