These are excellent winter boots. I purchased them two winters ago and let me tell you, they really hold up. I am in Alaska and it gets down to -50 in my town with slick ice on all of the sidewalks and roads, and these boots have held up well. They keep my feet warm and their traction is excellent. I also really like that they are adjustable, as you can tighten and loosen the shoelaces to modify the fit depending on the pants you are wearing. They are also waterproof, and have kept my toes dry now for two years. I anticipate having these boots for years to come, as they still provide excellent arch support and style.

This is a sturdy waterproof boot. High quality is evident in its materials, design and details. The embroidery below the fur is a nice touch. The combination of laces and zipper ensures a custom fit but easy on and off. Sometimes Keen feels short on my foot but this one is roomy enough for winter sox.

These boots are warm and were comfortable from the first wearing. I walk a lot in them, and they give excellent arch support. The zipper makes them easy to put on and the laces make it possible to adjust for heavy socks, tucked in pants, etc. I wish there were prettier colors, but overall, they are well suited for my work as a docent on a snowy mountain at Kitt Peak National Observatory.

These boots look great and are incredibly comfortable. They are true to size and have great traction in snow/ice! I love them!!

I had high hopes for these boots but for my feet they did not work so well. My feet are wide at the forefront and toes and narrow at the heels (Birkenstock-shaped). These boots are not as wide in the forefront as my Keen hiking boots or Keen Venice II sandals (both of which I have and really like) and they are too wide in the heel and mid foot (though laces help some with that). If you have straighter feet they might work well. Also looks like a got a defective pair as the left toe leaked! (This pair was not from Zappos as I had to return my Zappos pair due to wrong sizing and had to get my correct size elsewhere) Also, personally I did not find them to be that warm either, which is surprising with the lining. Keen sizes are very consistent. I needed half a size smaller in these than my Venice II sandals and Vogageur hiking boots. I returned due to the defect (leak).

The beauty of these boots is that there are laces AND a zipper. This means you can adjust them to your leg once then you are done. No fussing with laces every time you put them on. LOVE THAT. They have great arch support. They are not as wide as I’m used to Keen’s being, but wide enough for me and my feet are a tad wide. The fur on top does not shed all over like the Sorel’s I had. They are rated to 25 below but I’m not convinced these are going to keep my feet warm, we’ll see. The inside of the foot area is lined, but it doesn’t feel heavily lined. The outer shell is a rubber type material, sooo? If they don’t keep me warm I will update my review. I got the black which is super cute with my black leggings. The traction on the bottom is above average. I got a half size up and I’m glad I did. The last thing you want is your winter boots to be snug. Fingers crossed they hold up to the cold when snow shoeing.

Great boot! Keeps your feet warm and I love the easy access zip side.

Updated review: I got a half size smaller and the boot fits very well now. I like how adjustable it is and how easy it is to put on. I still find it a bit wide but I have narrow feet. With thicker socks it's okay. They are very warm and the tread is good. Tried them out today on a snowy day in Chicago. They look way more attractive in person. I also like that they look different than the Sorel style that is on everyone's feet.

I love these boots! Very high quality and warm, and have good traction in the snow. I've worn them under snowpants for sledding, or with leggings for running errands or out for dinner. I also like that they are easy to get on with the zipper. They fit true to size to a little big.

Whoa!! A snow boot that actually fits my short, stocky calves and hobbit feet. I almost cried when I put these on. I was sure that I would be stuck wearing ugly man boots...we just moved to an area famous for snow and I wanted to be prepared for the inevitable. I have Keen hiking boots and figured I could try their snow boots. Winner, winner chicken dinner.I normally have to buy a wide width boot but with Keen's wider toe box, these are golden. The zipper on the side is amazing as well. No need to undo the laces each time. Love! Plus these are actually attractive in addition to being functional.

I bought these in a 9.5. I can fit a 10 if needed. Pretty decent fit. Little tight around outside ankle bone , zipper rippled inward. I have larger calfs , so i think they scrunched down a bit.not too big of a sock can be used, slight room in toe area.i need to return,i liked the lower shaft for my calves.

I really liked these boots, but the zipper hurts my ankle so I will be returning them. I have wide feet and like most keens, these are fairly wide in the toes. Also, I have a high arch, and these have pretty good arch support, but I still would have needed to add a small arch support to them. I also have 2 pairs of Keen Hiking boots. They are both wide in the toes and so supportive that I don't have to wear inserts.

Great shoe just not the one I was looking for. Very warm but a little snug fitting and heavier than I was looking for. I wanted a lighter weight boot but otherwise I might have chosen this boot because of the superior quality.

Very nice boot but a little too narrow at the ball of the foot, so I have to return them.

I really like these boots. They have excellent tread and the zipper and laces make it easy to customize the fit, but they run very wide and are a half size too large or more. I think that my feet are slender but these boots are made for very wide feet. I was swimming in them.

I bought a pair of these about 4-5 years ago and they are my favorite boot. However I have not been able to find a replacement because now the heel rubs my ankle. This has been an issue for the last 3 years - I wish Keen would fix it. I cannot buy another pair, very painful

I am a huge fan of Keens but not really these. I love the convenience of laces and a zip and was excited to receive these. But the very top part is is tight around my calf and I'm a petite woman. The size is true (same size as my Keens sneakers and hiking boots) and the footing is terrific.

The boot is very comfortable and has a good tread, especially when walking on ice and in the snow. I wish the boot were taller. Only goes up to my lower calf, which won't help when there is more than a few inches of snow. My feet don't feel warm in the boots, even though I have worn thick socks. If the inside could be lined with shearling, this would be a good everyday winter boot.
