I can't tell you how long I have worn NB 800 series shoes, but it has been a long time. Because I wear a 12 AA, I have a tough time finding shoes that even half-way fit, but the Made-in-America 800 series in 12B with inserts did the job. My new 800 series is an 813 12B shoe made in Indonesia. They are wider, without "vents" and without a blucher-style upper. As a result, I can't get the laces to tie tightly enough to keep my feet from sliding in the shoe. Without vent holes, they are much hotter. Having recently been to my podiatrist, I had an opportunity to compare my 813s with his "diabetic" shoes. Side-by-side comparison revealed that his shoes looked better and were better constructed. I guess I'll just have to ask the shoe repair shop if they can resole my 810s because I'll no longer purchase NBs if I can't find a made in America 12B in white for a decent price.

Always wear this shoe. First time out of the box and the stitches came undone on the tongue. Sigh.

the 6E shoe, 1/2 size larger than my normal shoe size is way to small. it's a shame they can't be made more consistently.

Love the shoes. Hate the service. Ordered black and white pairs at the same time. Black was delivered. Having difficult time reaching anyone to resolve the problem. No phone contact "due to pandemic". E-mail answered in two days "due to high volume". Still waiting. This problem could be handled in about two minutes by a NB employee working from home! Love the shoes.

I am so disappointed with this brand site, as my order was declined just like with no explanation. I used my non-US card for ordering shoes. I won't come back to this site any more.

My 812 is still used with pleasure after 6 years. The soles, leather and Velcro work and feel like new. This model was USA made when NB cared about its brand name. I only bought the 813 because the cushioning around heel in the 813 were wearing through. But still the old model works better than the much lower quality NB 813 for comfort and wear. I wish companies would stick with quality as a selling feature and if they decide to offshore then they should insist on higher quality if that is even possible.

Having been a loyal customer for over 15 years this was the end all. New Balance has totally sacrificed quality in material and workmanship for profit.
Disgusting! I've always worn the 928 Walking Shoe all leather for substantially more money and bought another pair this year. Big mistake and I compounded it by buying the 813 thinking it sounded as good as the 928 for $60.00 less. The sizing is off (the Narrow is to wide now) and the quality is even worse than the 928 was. This is the end save your money. If you are looking for the pressure relief sole insert the new NB is junk go online and buy the original NB now marketed as the "10 Second to Comfort" identical to the old NB because it is the original. You will thank me later.

There are two reasons I was disappointed. First, the fit was too tight across the ball of the foot. Second there was a small, but noticeable manufacturing flaw in one of the shoes. Specifically the sole insert was not installed properly causing one side of the insole to bend down making it uncomfortable to wear. This is the second attempt at purchasing online. Both had defects, which makes me wonder if these are not shoes returned from stores because of the defects.

I like the shoes. But they say 6E but they are way too narrow. Not wide enough. I will be sending them back. I can not wear them.

I returned these shoes because they were defective, the padded collar was installed incorrectly and was "bunched" up in the back.

I planned to order the next largest size, but not until I get a refund for the pair that I returned. So far, I have not received my refund. If I ever receive my refund, I will reassess.

The is the first time I bought a NB shoe that didn't fit right. I have to modify my shoes in order to use my orthotics; that means cutting out the toe box, but this time my big toe was actually too wide for that side of the shoe box. Since I cut the shoe and then found out the bad fit, they would not qualify for a return for a wider shoe.
Not Happy and I have been buying NB for almost 40 years.

THESE SNEAKERS SQUEEK AS DO ALMOST EVERY PAIR OF NEW BALANCE SHOES THAT I BUY. I AM SO GLAD YOU SWITCHED TO MAKING THEM IN CHINA, NOT LOWERING THE PRICE (THEREBY VASTLY INCREASING YOUR PROFITS) AND DELIVERING AN INFERIOR PRODUCT.
PS, THEY DON'T LAST AS LONG AS BEFORE EITHER. THE ONLY REASON I STILL BUY THEM IS BECAUSE OF THE 4E WIDTH

I've had a pair of MW810BK, 2 pairs of MW811VK & 1 pair of MW811BK all made in the USA. I purchased a pair of MW813BK's (cause had funds at the time) for future use. The sole's on my MW811VK's were coming loose so purchased this pair of MW813HBK (made in Indonesa). In the lace area a little narrow not enough height to make a proper looking lace. Very disappointed, so tomorrow I'll be returning the pair of MW813HBK's.

Ordered the same size and width as my 833s. Too small and the Velcro straps had to be pulled tight to catch. Returned and ordered half size larger. Same problem. Returned them too. The Velcro straps need to be longer!

How in the world are these "extra extra wide" 6E shoes squeezing the front half of my feet together and more uncomfortable than the extra wide 4E's I've been wearing?

The tongue on the last several shoes was too narrow and on the last purchase was it was not even. It flipped up on the end. Sorry, this seems like you are trying to save money at the buyers expense.

These shoes are very comfortable except they do not have any ability to breath. My feet sweat profusely. It makes them unbearable to wear

The side of the shoe collapsed after 2 weeks. I have bought new balance for years and am now looking for a new brand.
No support on the side. Very disappointed

813 walking shoes, All I do is walk in them and they fall apart, you're lucky if you get two months out of these shoes before they start to come apart. I have been buying new balance shoes for a lot of years but over the last year and a half to two years every pair I've bought has been a little worst then the pair before . As soon as I can find another brand that fits right I will never buy new balance again !

Had worn the New Balance 575 for years. No longer made.
This is the second different model I tried.
I have a high instep and the 813 didn't fit me.
So, I've returned them.
