This is a good looking shoe and thanks to the W Wide sizing, it is a good fit for me. I liked the shoe so much I ordered a second pair.

My husband will only wear New Balance, but could not find your round toed sneakers locally. I ordered a pair from New Balance for his Christmas gift. They're just what he prefers. He loves them.

I am an "overpronator" with the expected flat feet, so my ankles cave in to the inside when I walk. I do not need cushioning. What I need is resistance to what my flat feet naturally but abnormally want to I do when I walk. New Balance says that calls for "stability" which is a "rollbar" under the heel/arch area. That holds my foot to a more normal movement when the "rubber meets the road", resulting in easier/more-normal-walking and less-abnormal/more-even shoe wear. But I have a very wide foot, so finding the right stability-shoe but not in my width is disappointing. That problem is solved because New Balance is noted for its extensive selection of WIDE widths. The 813 model has a rollbar AND comes in my wide width! It is the lowest priced NB shoe with rollbar and comes in both black or white. A sale price makes it even more economical. So I have been buying New Balance for decades, and the 813 and other NB rollbar-shoes WORK for me.

Having had a stroke which left me paralyzed on the right side these are excellent.

good sneakers, high quality

I have difficulty doing shoe laces. The shoe goes on easy and is secured easily.

Size and width runs true, good support with the included insole. Only complaint would be that the heel walking surface is to thin and wears out much too soon.

Nice to get a new pair of shoes. The knees appreciate the softness.

Wear all day I don't know I have shoes on

I needed rounded toe black shoes that could pass in a rush for dress shoes and these are it. I stand a lot and am happy to have discovered these shoes. I have worn New Balance shoes for decades off and on and am glad they are now making shoes that don't just look like running shoes.

I don't love the look, but super comfortable with a large toe box with a lot of room for toes.

I have been wearing 813"s for decades. They last, are super domfortable and fit my lifestyle perfectly. I hope to be wearing them for many year's to come. Thank you New Balance for this product - my favorite.

For walking and casual trips

I have more wrong with my feet than right. The Foot Doctor said look at New Balance.. The support by the shoe and the leather sides keep my feet level and they do not hurt after long walks. Great shoe.

They're very comfortable

Dorky as they may appear, I wear these to work because I have flat feet and I roll my ankles. I also need a wide shoe (EE). For a while these were unavailable and I was nervous about what to get as a replacement for my last pair. They lasted through a year of harsh use and abuse in a multi-terrain environment that includes coarse gravel and a lot of ladders. Anyway, I really love the 813 because it makes the incessant pain I feel in my feet a lot duller. I hope the new pair is of the same quality as the previous one and that New Balance continues to offer these for a long time to come.

Only thing is I wish I could still order the GREY color, to replace the ones that I have had for years. Please let me know if they will ever be available in the future. They were a "COOL" color.
