These here are a great work boot. When the rest of my body is sore and tired my feet are secure, warm, and relaxed

Construction work out in winter cold, snow and mud. Warm, dry and very comfortable. They need to stock more extra wide sizes in other boots similar to this.

I buy these for my winter boot in Chicago. I work all day n night outside and these are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. I buy the non insulated for summer also. But they are not completely waterproof. They do leak after some time in snow or rain. Soles wear out after 2 winters of walking on concrete, not bad considering how comfortable they. They're a little bulky, but warm. I would give 5 stars but they do leak.I wish they came in Gortex.

So I've had these two or three months now and I'm questioning how waterproof they truly are because after walking around in the snow the last couple days as a function of my job my feet are soaked the only good thing is they haven't been cold but they are wet. Maybe instead of manufacturing these boots in freaking China you should move production back to America. Maybe then they'll actually be waterproof and worth the $210 I paid for them.

Drill water wells in the rocky mountains. These boots are rugged, non slick, warm and comfortable. But they are not water proof, water will always leak in the tongue, no matter how much you water proof them.

Boot fits well and overall it is a decent boot but not for the price. I am always slipping on wet walkways and ice or snow. It does nothing to prevent slipping. I even slipped in a restaurant walking in NYC after coming in from the snow. Their floor was not even wet, it was my boots that were wet. Save your money! Buy something else.

Always wanted a pair of pros but never wanted to spend the money for em. But this winter right before the weather broke I figured I'd just spend the money since I had it and would have a good pair of boots for next winter and a back up pair for on location. Well after about wearing them for a month and the weather was warm I always had them in the back seat in case I needed them. It rained real heavy one day and my summer boots weren't keeping the water out very well so after changing my socks and putting my new pros on figured I would have been good for the rest of the night. Well I was mistaken. The left boot leaked all night long and didn't keep any water out. It wasn't raining anymore and just the water that was sitting on location about 2-3 inches deep and the left on just kept leaking. I'm very disappointed in these because I've always liked timberlands but I think this will be the first and last pair of pros I will ever buy

I work for the Ohio Dept. of Transportation and these junk boots were purchased through or boot program, via Lejigh Safety Boots, which we had a 3 year contract with an optional 4th year. We no long have that contract with Lehigh as the problem with the boots are longer than your boot laces! Most of my co-workers across the state feel that they were offering factory seconds regardless of the name brand. This pair if Timberlands is no different! The plastic soles which are glued on and there is a so call steel shank glued between the sole and the bottom of the boot is about the thickness of a piece of paper! This allowed water in and thus rusting the steel shank which part if it came up through the bottom and into my foot! If I could post pictures I would! I am also a safety advocate District 6 and on our Health & Safety committee. Due to the problem of sizing, boots falling apart, ODOT has opted to go with a voucher program where we can purchase any brand of boot and get reimbursed I have been a wearer of Wolverine long horn boots that are 8" tall, waterproof and insulated. I NEVER had a problem with Wolverine boots and highly recommend them. We are not sure of of any contracts or acquisition between Timberland, any other boot brand and Lehigh but again it appears Lehigh acquired factory seconds from other suppliers. Most issues were boots falling apart. Soles coming apart, seams breaking, etc. As far as the Timberland Pro line, they have been the worst regular construction, feel and fit! The boots will be displayed and reviewed at our next safety meeting before sending them back to Timberland at my cost and they can keep their c junk boots!!! Also note that any company that filters their reviews and only offers a 30 return policy, that is a red flag! Buyer Beware!
