I love Uggs. I live in them all fall and winter (and I live in SoCal!). I wear them to the LA Kings games and just around town. These are nice because they don't look so much like traditional Uggs. They are nicer but not as warm. The up side is that they are much more comfortable to walk in for long periods of time since they are more structured in the foot bed and not as wide as traditional Uggs. If you have a wide foot that might be an issue but for an average width foot it's great!

I love these boots. I am already a big fan of Uggs and love that these are still just as comfortable and warm as the original. I usually run between a 7½-8 so I figured an 8 would be ok, but I did end up having to exchange for an 8½ and now they fit great.

These are great shoes, sleek and modern looking... I get a lot of compliments...

I absolutely love these boots, they have everything I was looking for: 1. Hits slightly over the knee. The area around the knee is not tight, making it very comfortable. 2. It is a slim fit, chic looking Ugg (I got black). I have received many compliments on the boots and people are shocked to find out they are Ugg. I am almost reluctant to tell people the brand because I do not want friends/family buying the same ones! 3. The sheepskin fur goes all the way up the boot. This is perfect for cold winters, especially if like me your winter jacket falls right above the knee. Goodbye layering! 4. It has a rubber outsole which feels much for durable and sturdier than the classic Uggs. Some things to consider: 1. There is not really any arch support or ankle support. I have high arches so this does not seem to be an issue for me. If you have worn Uggs before you will be used to the lack of support. 2. What is different to the classic Uggs is that it is a lot more narrow by the toes and the foot. In this sense it feels much more like a traditional tall boot. 3. I walked 2½ miles in them (in one go, not throughout the day) and it was quite enjoyable although I did find that after such a long walk that it rubbed slightly irritating on my heel but that was the only issue I had. So I am figuring out what I prefer socks/no socks. These are not really for long walks but were adequate in the situation. 4. I really wanted an over the knee boot that was relatively easy to put on/off and the Samantha boot does just that. Sure, it will take you longer than the classic Ugg but a lot less time than a boot with zipper or that hugs the calf tightly! 5. In terms of fit, I ordered half a size larger. I have narrow, relatively true-to-size feet. Order one whole size larger if you prefer more wiggle room. Overall this boot wins on style, comfort, warmth, quality and I think a very decent price point for what you get.

This boot is dreamy - BUT - be careful of sizing. I ordered it in an 11 (as a usual size 10 1/2, but I usually have to order 11s) - and it was too small. Had to order 12. Now it fits great. You'll have to treat the suede for preserving it. But it's well worth it, super warm and comfy, with the sheepskin against your calves. (The calves are too big, but worth it.)

ZOMG, they fit, they fit, they fit!! May not mean much to the skinny calf crowd, but I'm one of those in-between types, my calves are too muscular for most boots with their pencil-thin shafts, but wide calf boots don't fit me either, they're too big. These are just right. And they're actually stylish, without trying way too hard. As soon as I put on my first pair and realized these were really going to work, I immediately ordered a pair in the other color (black). I wear a size 12 and good looking well-fitting boots are as rare as phoenixes. As to what else I can recommend? Not much, sadly. I used to get Stuart Weitzmann, but lately they have fallen into the pencil-calf trend as well, (don't believe that "stretch" claim, they still put non-stretch seams around the widest part of the calf) and I've had to send too many pairs back (thank you Zappos for making it low-stress!). But Ugg's got it covered now.

I love the more refined style of this tall Ugg boot. It is, however, missing the luxury feel of the full sheepskin interior/footbed. I love my Uggs mostly because I can go bare footed into the boot, but this boot's foot and ankle interior section is leather. The shaft though is sheepskin, as well as the footbed itself. But most of the foot and ankle is touching leather. So, just not as comfy cozy as the original UGGS. If I keep these I will want to wear socks. I did go up half a size and that worked for me. I am normally a 5½ and went up to a 6.

My standard size is an 8.5 with a narrow-normal width foot. I ordered up and got a size 9 based on reviews and the boots was very tight across my foot. However, the length fit so I don't think sizing up to a 9.5 would work length-wise. I do like the overall look, but sadly they're going back.

I wanted to love these boots, but they just didn't work for me. They were difficult to get on and were not particularly comfortable. I have bigger calf muscles and these boots were too tight. They would look better on someone tall and narrow. Unfortunately, they are going back.

I ordered the first pair (size 7½) and it felt comfortable, but then I was very disappointed that the bottom of the sole was super sticky and the edges at the bottom were discolored at various spots. However, I reordered another pair (size 7½) and this pair was very uncomfortable and it felt like a size 7. Even though they were both size 7½, they felt very different between the two. I am very sad that I will be returning both shoes, but the style of the shoe is super cute.

No longer what one would expect of UGG...first of all, they are made in China, and not made well at all. The points stick up like Aladdin shoes, the foot-bed is too long for the size, yet the ankle opening is too small for a foot to slide in pull-up style, and should rather have a zipper to facilitate entering the boot. Once the foot is in, which takes about 5 minutes of pulling and pushing, the foot bed is too long for the size, there is absolutely no arch support, and there is about one inch of empty boot space at the toes, which curls up ridiculously, and make you walk like a duck. The boot is lined with shearling all the way to the ankle and foot bed, but then there is no shearling where the top of the foot is, WHY??? cheaper to make? It just does not make any sense warmth-wise. The seams are not smooth, but there are hard ridges where the sawing is done improperly. They simply are poorly designed and made. The quality is cheap, and the price way too high for such poor (if any) craftsmanship. Really, really disappointed.
