Feels cheaply made.. but looks cute

My 16 month old loves these vans, they're not too bulky, fairly easy to walk in and the black gose with almost everything in his wardrobe.

Cute and stylish! My son dogged the shoes in 3 days of me buying them. But he like them, you can style them with anything. My son wear an 8 but Vans usually runs big so I got a 7.5. All and all its a cute stylish shoe for toddler boys or girls. :)

The Vans Sk8 is a top ten shoe. It's built for skateboarding, so its rugged enough to handle the day to day wear from a toddler. It also looks really cool. It goes with jeans, shorts, sweats, everything. The leather is soft but strong and the velcro straps are nice and long.

Everything was great except for one major thing. The Velcro on the right shoe is too short. The left shoe Velcro was perfect but the right shoe Velcro was a good quarter to half inch shorter than left which doesn’t give as good of a fit. This is definitely a manufacturing quality error; however the shoes were worn outside before we realized it was manufactured mistake; therefore, we can’t return. Love the shoes but disappointed with the quality check of the shoes before boxed up to be bought.

These seem to fit my kiddo pretty true to size. However, after ONE wearing, the stitching on one of the Velcro straps is already coming undone. I wanted Vans for his school shoes because they’ve always had a reputation of being pretty sturdy shoes. So to have them falling apart so quickly after only one wear is really disappointing.

These were pretty disposable. Have had a few of the Ward velcros for the kids and these weren’t as good.

My son wore the shoes for about 1.5 months and the rubber is already wearing away in multiple locations and a hole is forming. I have never seen anything like this from a major brand shoe before. He is in nursery school and doesn’t even walk around indoors with them during the day. Quality-wise I would have to say these are pretty poor. I like the style so much and am really bummed.

I love Vans....so I'm super confused about why these shoes are such horrible quality. The white rubber on the front of the shoes started coming off literally the first day our kiddo wore these. I understand that 3 year olds are tough on shoes, but we have super cheap shoes from Target that he's been wearing for months now and they are in better shape than these Vans after one week of wearing them. Super disappointed.
