This is my first time trying Dansko. I wear a size US 9, my right foot is slightly larger than my left foot, and my heel is narrow, so I like the Mary Jane style that helps keep my heel in a shoe. Anywho, I also ordered the Dansko Lois, the Munro Alpine, and a Clarks shoe (don't you love how Zappos delivers a shoe store to your house?). I ordered all shoes in a 8.5/9 or 39. The Lois is so cute, I actually considered keeping it and trying to stretch it, because the sizing was a little short and it squeezed my toes. The Munro was very cushioned, the fit was true, but the back of the shoes is kind of high so it rubbed against my ankle bone. The Adelle shoe platform matches my foot shape (i.e. narrow heel and medium-ish width (too narrow for wide width, a little tight for a medium width by the end of the day). I can wiggle my toes, the front of the shoe is somewhat flexible, my foot doesn't slide forward, the shoes cups my heel but doesn't cut or slip, and the heel is cushioned. Lastly, the arch support is fine -- I can feel it but it's not digging into my foot. So, long story long, the Adelle is a keeper; I am returning all of the others. I'm considering the Dansko Amber next, since it looks like the same foot platform, but I'm not sold on the clog look yet. I appreciate all of the detailed feedback in making my shoe decisions here at Zappos.

I'm very frustrated trying to get shoes for my increasingly difficult feet. I have the unholy trinity of flat feet with bunions and neuromas. Danskos used to be my only reliable go-to brand, but no longer. 42s are the right length, but are too narrow. 43s are the right width, but too long. I got both sizes hoping one would work, but neither did, so returning them. Other than my sizing problems, it's a beautiful shoe.

These were not my first choice, ordered them with Born "Elliott" and Alegria "Emma" I wanted a higher heel. But both of those were squeaking and making squishy sounds so they went back. These feel super comfortable.

My Adelle's did not come with the metal button, just elastic and leather strap. Regardless, the opening seam landed right across the top of my bunion. Well built shoes.

Love them! But then they are Danskos so I expected this. They are just a tad big but the next size would have been too small. The strap keeps them firmly on my feet and it is far enough down so they don't rub that bone on the top of your foot. They will also need some breaking in but overall I love 'em. Zappos' employees are above and beyond awesome, I couldn't ask for a better transaction. Thank you!

Ordered this great looking shoe in a larger size because first pair were too narrow. These were a good width for me, but still could not work with my extreme over pronation in R. foot. Loved the shoe and Zappos! I will continue to try to find the right great looking shoe for me at Zappos.

It's hard for me to describe how lovely this color is! It's a wonderful blue and a great compliment to my other Dansko colors. The style is also comfortable and good for moving around.

Beautiful shoe. Flexible sole is a plus. My regular size for Dansko is a 38. Fits perfect! The wine brushoff napa is a beautiful color. Extremely comfortable from the start. No breaking in necessary. Absolutely love it. My favorite Dansko ever! And of course, Zappos delivery system is the best. Order one day, here the next. They rock!

These shoes are very well made and durable. They are more of a cute look on, versus professional. I was looking for something in the most comfortable work shoe ever department because I have a conference where all I do is walk 13 hours a day for a week. They are comfortable, but did not quite hit my (perhaps unrealistic) expectation. I am still wearing them for everyday work where I don't walk as much, and they are just fine.

These are great shoes for work. They are a little narrower in the toe box than some, but very soft leather. The first pair that I ordered had a slight defect in the leather that made the shoes for funny, so I returned them. The second pair was great!

I like these shoes. They are a little big in the toe are but the strap is adjustable. They are very comfortable. Dansko seems to run wide for me.

I bought these in a 7 1/2. I have bunions and can usually stretch that area out so shoes are wearable. These shoes were very loose in the heel. So much so that even a heel insert was not enough to close the gap. There is still a 1/4 gap in the back. I didn't realize this until I wore them a few times. They felt good when I first tried them on indoors. I wore them with tights and they felt a little loose so I put in heel pads. Still loose and got worse as the day wore on. With socks they are too tight on my bunions. I can't return them because I have worn them outside a few times and I no longer have the box they came in. I'm not willing to pad the heel even more because it will look ugly with a 1/4 of padding back there. Plus it will just push my foot forward and make the toe area too tight. Geesh, these were expensive too.
