Overall these are great sneakers. The fit felt weird at first, the laces were tight and a bit too short. I completely unlaced and then re-did to get a looser fit. They do stretch out so the more I wear them the more comfortable they feel. Only problem is that the laces are too short.

These miss the mark. I have an older pair that has the zipper as well - much better for putting on and taking off. These are very difficult to put on, as the laces are oddly bulky and don’t move well to unlace. The laces also don’t tie well. They don’t feel like my old worn out pair at all so I’m returning. I’ll hold out for a zipper/laces high top rather than laces only, or else better laces. Attaching a photo of the old pair with a zipper and cotton laces (yes they are women’s Ecco).

I wear a size 8.5 to 9 generally and these fit quite comfortably. I need good arch support and I've found them to be great to wear while walking all over the city. The style is fantastic! The one thing I have noticed is that it will take a few days to wear in the leather, and the sides do rub against my ankles a bit if I'm wearing short socks and don't have skinny pants tucked into them. No blisters, though, so it's pretty mild! Pricy, but these are super cute and comfortable and seem to be good quality overall. (I've only had them for a week.)

I love these high tops. Looks great, my orthotics work in them, and they are very cushiony and comfy to walk around in all day. My only complaint (not worth removing a star) is that the laces that come with the sneakers are excellent quality but way too short! When laced up all the way, I can barely tie them. I need to find longer laces.

I bought a size 11 (my normal size) and these were comfortable straight out of the box while wearing thin socks. There was no breaking in; I wore these the next day while traveling, and I had no issues zipping through the airport. The following day, I wore the shoes on a college campus for about 6 hours and never felt like my feet hurt because of the shoes. I'm pleasantly surprised! It's rare you find shoes you an just throw on and go without a little breaking in, and these fit the bill. One word of advice: because the shoe and the laces are leather, it's slightly tough to get your foot in the shoe because of the hightop. After 2 days of wear, it was MUCH easier to slide the shoe right on. Consider un-lacing the shoe a bit on first wear to get them on.

Very comfortable. I did order a size up because the size 10 was snug.

They run a little big IMO. Ordered 7-7.5 Women’s but had to exchange for 6-6.5. I normally wear a 7. They are very soft and comfortable.

I really wanted these shoes in white. They are soft and comfortable when I tried on, however I need to return because my orthotic made the toe area too tight. What a bummer!

I am a normal size 7. Not 6.5, not 7.5, but always just 7. I ordered the size 38 which is 7 - 7.5. I loved these shoes when they arrived. They fit my feet perfectly for width (I have normal width, just slightly wide toe box), but they were ridiculously long. I returned, but am considering trying the size 37 because they are very nice looking shoes. I can't speak to arch support or all day comfort.

This shoes are crazy expensive. However, they fit my narrow flat feet and will allow me to walk around Europe pain free. The time for cheap shoes in my life is over and these are worth every penny. Stylish too.

Most supportive sneakers I've ever tried! I wear orthotics and I was able to take out the removable insole and put my orthotics in. One thing I love about them is even without the factory insole there is a huge built in arch support! So once I add my orthodic it is incredibly supportive which is great for me! I have flat feet and get lots of ankle and foot pain if I don't have arch support. The leather is really soft and high quality. They are plain and simple but nice looking and slightly stylish. Highly reccomend!! Especially for people seeking high arch support!

I am obsessed with these shoes. They truly earn 5 stars all around: fit, style, comfort, versatility. All excellent. I live in NY and walk quite a bit. I also have a toddler who I'm chasing around a lot. These are my go to pair. Sadly I don't want to wear any of my cute booties bc these hitops are so perfect. It's my first pair of Ecco shoes. I thought they were for ladies of a certain age, but I'm wrong! They're for women who want to wear crazy comfy leather sneaks and look cool doing it!

Wow, what a great shoe! Admittedly, I wanted to find a leather high top that was a little less expensive than this one, and I truly must have tried on every other alternative out there. But NOTHING compared in terms of fit and comfort. This shoe fits great, and is very streamlined and tidy looking. I can even wear it with skirts. I agree with other reveiwers - it's a tad longer than typical, but not enough to matter, and the shoe still makes my foot look small. There is a removable leather insert that I use, but that can also be removed for wider feet. The leather is REALLY soft, far better quality than anything else I tried. Higher quality, polished laces add to the look and feel too. Ecco's have traditionally been comfortable, but are usually not stylish-looking enough for me. This super stylish pair is a win!

Got these in burgundy for some fall travelling. Leather is nice and soft to accomodate us with bunions. The shoe is light, yet has arch support.

I love the look but have to return for reasons others have stated. Hard to get on, not a fan of the heel cutout. Not only is there no way to pull the shoe on but it awkwardly shows your sock.

Great shoe, beautiful leather and zipper is great. The notch on the back is not a great design for ankle support, which was the reason I bought this shoe. Sorry to have to return.

Ecco Soft 8 black high top is now made with a cheap leather. Returned a pair because I thought the leather was off. Now with this second pair I realize it is what it is. Don’t think the $180 is justifiable for me. I know Covid did a number on businesses, but please don’t think consumers don’t know inferior products when we have supported your brands for years. Realized the leather had changed on the Soft 7 silver metallic as well. Returning these and will check out Taos or some other brand. Do better Ecco.

Once I got them on my feet, they fit perfect. But the leather was so stiff it took about fifteen minutes to get my feet into the high top. The sole felt good but because of the stiff leather, they were hard to move in. They look cute, but I must return them.

I've had these high tops for nearly a decade and I love them. The cut out in the back helps prevent blisters. They're very cute on and very comfortable. My only "complaint" is that I can only wear them when its <65 degrees out or I get too hot (but I tend towards overheating).

These are just beautiful shoes. The leather looks very elegant and as Eccos they are very well made. These is excellent comfort in the footbed and good arch support. I got them to wear with a dress to an afternoon wedding at the end of July and I know I am going to be very happen with them.

great high top tennis, not enough support for myself. I need them with a little more wedgie. well made leather.

Cute, but time consuming to get on and off. Returned.

I wear a size 11 and a lot of high topped sneakers make my feet look like boats. I have narrow heels which means that I am a bit of a problem with two different sized feet to fit. I love these. I have the white ones and I have worn them so often that I need to try to get the stains off from wearing so frequently. They are super comfortable. Narrow enough in the heel but not overly tight across the front of my foot. The best part is the U shaped cut in the back top. That makes getting these on and off so much easier. Because my feet are skinny, I always have to lace shoes fairly tight which with my length means I have to undo them a lot to get back off! Having the notch really helps enormously. Best of all they make my feet look smaller which is a major miracle! I don't think these would work for a wide width. But if you are a medium or narrow, I think they would fit great.
