This is a wonderful shoe. I ordered it to wear on a European River Boat cruise and wanted to break it on before I left. However, the leather is so buttery soft, and the fit so true to size, it didn’t need breaking in. I slipped it on and it felt as if I had had it for months. No blisters, no incomfortable toe bed; quite the contrary. This shoe is now my favorite go to casual shoe to wear everywhere. It looks good on my feet and I have big feet; a size 10. This doesn’t make my feet look like boats. It’s a super comfy shoe that looks very stylish, even on a 68 year old grandmother.

I've been on the hunt for a good walking shoe for an upcoming Fall trip to Italy and finally found a winner in these! I usually wear a 7.5 and tried on the 38 (7-7.5) locally in-store but found that they did not seem long enough and fit more like a size 7. I ordered up a size to the 39 (8-8.5) and they work great, just a little loose in the back but not anything lacing them a little tighter won't fix. I've been wearing them around to break them in but this isn't really necessary since they feel really comfortable from the start. I have high arches and the arch support is great. The top inside flaps of the shoes did feel like they were pushing into my foot at first but once I re-laced them that went away and actually makes them easier to secure comfortably now. The color I chose is the Moon Cow Leather which is a dark gray with a faint hint of blue. I've raved about these shoes so much that my husband tried the Ecco Soft 7 for men and they worked for him as well. I receive compliments on them frequently and can't wait to wear them on my trip!

The Ecco Soft 7 is a great shoe for casual, everyday wear. It is supremely comfortable, offers excellent cushioning, good arch support, and a nice, but unobtrusive, collar of padding around the ankle area. The Soft 7 is stylish as well, (which is remarkable in a comfort shoe,) and comes in several colors. Soft 7’s are perfect for travel. Several of these have found their way home to me and other family members.

These shoes are great. They are great-looking - trendy and cute, and very comfortable. Issues - I have a narrow heel, and the shoe slides up and down if I wear them without socks. But I don't mind wearing socks unless it's blazing hot outside, and then I wear sandals anyway. If you are used to athletic shoes the soles may feel lighter and thinner than what you're used to. I haven't tried walking long distances in them so I can't speak to how they will hold up comfort-wise. They do have arch support, though I can't tell if it's "excellent" or not yet. I do need arch support, and they are comfortable to me. And of course, Zappo's is totally the best company to do business with ever.

Absolutely love these sneakers! They are really cute, extremely comfortable and have terrific arch support. When ordering I was a bit hesitant about the Rose Dust color being too pink for my liking but it is a nice fleshy color that I think goes with everything. I bought these for an upcoming trip to the UK where we’ll be doing a lot of walking. Added bonus: the shoelaces stay tied, unlike my favorite pair of Nikes. Highly recommend!

I ordered the dark shadow for a shiny city sneaker. Had to send the first pair back because Ecco says a 36 is equal to size 5-5 1/2 but actually the 35 is a 5. I love the look and comfort and will wear these often.

I LOVE THESE! Right out the box you fall in love with them. The styling is great. The leather is soft and beautiful. The support is good. The comfort is all there. I got the pink and it is stunning - but alas they did not go well with my coloring. I really tried to make them work but they got lost in my coloring and just looked weird. Going to try them in a darker color. Highly recommend. I wear a size 9 in all shoes except Nike (9.5) and these fit perfectly in 9.

Finally, shoes that are not made in China!!! There's a very noticeable difference in quality (made in Slovakia). These shoes are very well made with attention to detail and balance. The seams are all smooth so there are no rough spots and the leather if very soft. I wear a US 7 and ordered size 38, which fits perfectly.

In spite of the slight deviation from size, once I found the right one-hallelujah! My feet have become a problem-age, weight and broken bones have all taken there toll.. These shoes are so comfy, offer support and are cute, cute... not "little-old-lady sneakers." And God bless Zappos for offering such great service that allowed me to find, after multiple false starts and returns, a good pair of shoes!

Shoe felt soft and supportive on the inside and seemed to be cushioned enough, but it was too narrow for my somewhat wide forefoot and bone that protrudes on one side. I wish Zappos carried a wide width

Love this shoe! I'm on my feet all day at work and I wear these. So comfortable. I don't need my orthotics with these. Wonderful arch support! I will be ordering another pair.

These sneakers are fabulous. I bought the black at the beginning of the summer and just bought the brick red because I wear them so much. They are a step up from wearing athletic sneakers and much more comfortable than fashion sneakers like Vans Slip-ons and Converse Chucks. These are super chic and so comfortable. I get many compliments. I have issues with my little toes rubbing in shoes but not with these.

Very comfortable out of the box. Beautiful well quality leather. They look great with dresses skirts, pants shorts. I have 3 pair.

I'm not a tennis shoe wearer, but , these rock. I tried them on, very comfortable right out of the box. They look so pretty on your feet. great arch support and yes you can wear them for hours. I bought the powder, chilli red, and warm gray. They look great with anything. Buy these Eccos, your feet will be very happy. Like walking on cozy pillows. Of course Zappos mailed them out to me the next! Awesome customer service.

No breaking in period. I have a pair of the Ecco VIII and these are just as comfy. I also wear a Wide shoe and the M fits me comfortably.

Like other Ecco shoes, these are so comfortable and the blue color is wonderful.

I normally wear a 39, however I had to size up to a 40 with these! Once I sized up they were great! Usually after a day of wearing sneakers my feet ache quite a bit, but it was notably better with these. The arch is not as supportive as with my Ecco Chase II sneakers, but I am still very happy with them. The color (I got the Powder Cow Leather ones) is gorgeous and is the perfect neutral sneaker that I can wear with jeans and even dresses.

I have a lethal combination of horrible feet (no arches, little natural padding) and discriminating tastes, so spend a lot on shoes. Nonetheless, I hesitated on these because they felt a bit frivolous. I’m glad I took the plunge. They are absolutely wonderful! They offer excellent support and comfort, as well as a stylish shoe I can wear for years. Slipping my feet into them feels like a form of therapy. I can walk comfortably for long distances. Thank you, ECCO, for another outstanding product!

These shoes give more support than some Dansko, and are great looking. I am very happy with them!

My shoe size is 10.5 AAAA. I wore these shoes comfortably right out of the box. Love the color. Dressier than a tennis shoe.

I wear a 40 (9-9.5) usually narrow but with a very high arch. Because these tie the arch and narrow are not a problem and the toe area is large enough to wear really good socks and have room to wiggle your toes. Highly recommend this shoe and this brand.
