The vanilla color looks slightly pink in the color but in reality it’s more like a dark cream color, so that disappointed me. I have a slightly wide foot and this felt too narrow for me so going back.

I love these ECCO shoes but the shoelaces that comes with them does not slide easily and makes tightening them a challenge.

Tight toebox. I have narrow feet usually and don't have issues with but. But the stitching on the inside and narrow width hurt my pink toes so bad. I am going to try the same size in the mens version and see if that helps. wanted to like these shoes so bad.

Leather is stiff and would require long breakin period. I thought the leather would be soft.

Very attractive sneakers, but the leather was stiff and the seams bothered me. Reluctantly returning them.

Love the style, and color -the leather is just beautiful. But, even with this more expensive shoe, the cut is too slender - particularly the toe box. My heel is narrow, but my toes are wide. A B usually is good enough - (and wide is too wide) - in this shoe, the toe fit is like a 1/2 size too slender. So disappointed!

I'm really disappointed to be returning this shoe. I bought my standard size and the fit was great. The soles felt very comfortable and the shoes were very cute. It is one of the few shoes that I didn't have my heel slip in when walking as well, but when walking the seams on the toe of one of the shoes rubbed very painfully on my foot and I won't be keeping them. My left foot is slightly larger than my right and this is the foot I was feeling the seam on. So maybe if you are on the smaller end of your size you won't feel it, because I didn't feel it on the right shoe.

I wear a 12N/M and have narrow heels, low instep, I ordered the white and the vanilla metallic, which is a very nice neutral color. I walked around the house with these and realized there is not much padding for my boney feet and my foot moved forward anomy toe bumped against the end of the shoe. I think I would have been fine with another 1/2 size up but it was a no go for these. Even though the shoe is a medium, it's very narrow and I couldn't wear my low cut socks with them. they have leather insoles so would be fine to wear barefoot.

IT'S A GREAT LOOKING SHOE BUT THE SEAM JUST ABOVE THE TOES IS QUITE UNCOMFORTABLE

The top inside flaps of the shoe felt hard against my foot. The size and fit were fine, but the seams rubbed my foot with each step. I needed these shoes for lots of walking, so I could not risk it- especially for the price. My husband loves the men’s pair he purchased of the Ecco brand.

I ordered size 10, way too small. The size 11 was way too large. Arch support was medium

I bought the ECCO 7 Sneaker in Euro size 38 (US 7-7.5) and Euro size 39 (US 8-8.5) as described on Zappos. The 38 was too tight in the toebox and the 39 was too big everywhere. I am a 7.5 Medium. The tags inside the shoes say EU 38/ US 7 and EU 39/ US 8. It's clear to me that this Euro shoe is not meant for my 7.5 medium feet. Going up or down a Euro size is not a option for me. Lesson learned by me and I will try to avoid Euro sized shoes in the future. My thanks to Zappos for their outstanding service.

I'm very disappointed. I have a lot of trouble finding footwear that fits and these shoes do fit, however there is absolutely no cushioning, it's like walking directly on the ground and my feet can't take that. If I put my orthotics in, my heel slips, and if I use a Dr. Scholl's double cushion insole, there's more cushioning but not enough arch support. I expected more from Ecco. Sadly, I think I will have to return these.

This is the fifth or sixth time I've ordered these shoes and have alway loved them, until now. the fit is so different than the others. Very loose in the heel, constantly pulls my socks down and is just generally uncomfortable. This so often seems to happen, find a great brand and rather than leaving them great, they change them. I'm so disappointed as these were my trusted walking shoes. No longer.

Zappos sent me a used pair of shoes. They arrived with dirty toes and grass stains on the sides and back. I am beyond livid. I should have known something was wrong when they came wrapped in plastic instead of in a shoebox.

Nice shoe. I've been wearing Eccos for a long time and have always worn the size 7-7.5. When I tried on my new shoes in this size, they were huge on my feet. Did Ecco change their sizing by chance?

I have 3 pairs of the Soft 7 from 2020. Reordered exact pairs, and they are a full size larger. Ecco, did you change the last?

Nice to find a casual fashion sneaker like this that has some support to it

Very cute shoes. I always wear a 7.5, but these were super tight. They felt very small and I could hardly get my foot in. Also these are vaery narrow. It is fine for me because I do not have wide feet, but people should know this is not for those with wide feet. Returning the 7.5 now. Ordered an 8 and they fit great and are very comfortable. I swapped out the laces for a No-Tie Lace. I love that the color is taupe---in between gray and beige so it is sort of both warm and cool-toned at the same time.

The sizing listed (8 - 8-/12, etc) is deceptive. There are no half sizes, so round down and assume it will be on the small and narrow size. I'm an 8-1/2 and the 8 was too small. The size 9 feels very nice, and fit width wise nicely too.

Love these sneakers. They are a bit stiff but I feel like they’ll loosen up with a little wear. The material feels soft and high end. I’ve really enjoyed wearing them. I pronate quite a lot so while they’ll be great for everyday wear, I’ll be choosing something with more arch support when I’ll be on my feet all day.

I have another pair of Ecco sneakers. Was happy the fit of this style was the same. These are comfortable, with substantial soles, more stable than the cushiony types. Love these, very nice looking, too.

Love these shoes, so comfortable. this is my second pair. Great arch support.

This may sound crazy, but last September, I ordered and returned the same Ecco soft sneakers in the same size as the shoes I recently purchased and love! The first pair seemed ultra stiff and the seam across the toes hurt my feet. Not so with this pair. Go figure! Maybe the first pair were seconds or there needs to be better quality control.
