I had a stress fracture in one of the long bones in the middle of my foot, and every pair of flat/padded shoes I had still hurt to wear. I bought multiple new pairs of shoes from Zappos and elsewhere, trying to find something that I could walk around in that didn't cause sharp pains in my foot, but no luck. Then I tried these -- and they were magic. They are ridiculously comfortable to walk around in. I did a five hour 11 mile hike last weekend, and feet were comfortable as can be. They have tons of support, a slight rocking style to the sole (thicker in the middle than at the toe/heel), and definitely the thickest/most padded sole in general I've ever seen on a shoe. I've never tried running in them or doing anything specifically athletic that they might be manufactured to focus on. But what I have done is wear them around for the last month, almost every day -- walking on sidewalks and hiking on trails -- and they are unbelievably comfortable to somebody who has tender/injured feet. If I had a job where I had to stand all day, and sneakers were appropriate -- I would hands-down get these. I'm logged onto Zappos right now to buy a second pair, because I don't want to risk their being discontinued at the time these ones finally get too old/funky to wear.

Excellent shoe for those that need a soft landing. I have Morton's neuroma and this is very comfortable. Toe shape is norma-wide and comfortable.

Super comfortable shoe! These are my go-to shoe for everywhere I walk. The sole is very firm/inflexible, which was what I was looking for due to issues I have with the ball of my foot. I feel like they look bulkier than I would prefer, but having a reliable shoe that gives me miles and miles of support is worth it.

These sneakers are incredible. I agree with the reviewer who is also dealing with a recovering stress fracture, that these sneakers are the ONLY ones I've tried that do not hurt my foot! They sole is nice and stiff and super shock absorbing. So grateful that I found these!!!

These are the most comfortable sneakers I've had in years! Working all day on my feet, these were comfortable all day. At first they felt a little tight, but they came with 2 different insoles to adjust. After wearing awhile, they are great. I also bought the leather ones and they fit perfectly without a break-in time.

This is my first time to review a product. It takes a lot to move me to do so. I too, have some foot issues. I find walking and standing for any length of time uncomfortable. But, not any more! This is the most comfortable pair of walking shoes I have ever experienced. I find that I never want to take them off. I am wearing them for trips out shopping, housework, cooking, and everything else that involves being on my feet. I'm even walking faster. After wearing them for 2 days, I decided to order a pair for my husband. He is a physician. He is on his feet 12 plus hours a day standing in surgery or walking on rounds and between the clinic and hospital. He has worn his for about a week now. Every night he tells me how much he appreciates his new shoes. Now his colleagues are asking about them.

Beautiful shoes. Very comfortable, like all HOKAs. Feel a little narrower throughout the shoe than most, and this is OK with me. Love them.

Amazing! I love this sneaker. I have arthritis in my big toe and several bone spurs on the top of my toe they do not hurt at all in the sneaker. I have a pair for work as I stand a lot on concrete and I also have a pair for the gym because I walk over 4 miles a day on the treadmill I have no pain in my feet or knees when I wear the sneakers. They are expensive but they are well worth the money once you put them on your feet it is the most cushioned wonderful feel.

Wonderfully comfortable shoe for walking. Wide toe bed and deep cushioning. Not all Hoka One shoes share this fit or comfort. I wish it were more chic so I could wear it for events where one needs to stand.

These shoes are wonderful - I have been having pain from arthritis of the toes - and I can walk all over the place. These are the the best shoes that I ever bought.

The Hoka One One Valor is lightweight with great cushioning. Most important to me, is the wide toe box. I tried on several Hoka's and this one fits very well. Many others were too narrow for me. I was able to wear it immediately. I have not yet tested it walking but I have my fingers crossed.

This is my second pair of Hokas. The first pair I wore out because I wore them all the time! They are very comfortable and bigger than average toe box so your toes are not squished! Having plantar fasciitis these shoes were an great relief to my hurting feet! They are pricey, but worth every penny if you want cushion and comfort.

LOVE THESE SHOES! A total game changer for me. I use these shoes for work as I'm on my feet for 8-10 hrs a day. After a long shift, my feet don't ache like they used to. It feels like I'm walking on air. Definitely worth the $$.

These are great shoes. They are light in weight, heavy on comfort. The energy return is excellent. I am a nursing supervisor and these shoes keep me running comfortably all shift.

Tried these out simply for the color. I have 3 other Hoka's in the Conquest model, which are very loud. OK, down to business. The fit is not quite as glove-like as the Conquest, and the heel is a little looser, which I fixed by using Lock Laces. The toe-box is wonderfully roomy, and overall, has a "softer" feel than the Conquest. I ordered my regular size, and they were fine with medium-weight socks. They also accommodate my plantar heel seats. I'm a walker and find them to be extremely comfortable. No break-in required.

Comfortable, but I did not like the reflector designs. I ordered the Bondi which is all black

Very comfortable shoes. I bought these shoes because I could not find any others that felt comfortable on my feet. The rolling style of the sole relieves the pressure on the heel and ball of foot by transferring weight to the center of my foot. I am able to remove the Hoka insert and put in my own orthoses.

This shoe felt very stiff and uncomfortable on the right side of my foot. I think it was due to the plastic that goes from the center top to the side of the sole. Anyway I had to return these!

While these feel comfortable and lightweight they are very clunky looking. I just cannot imagine wearing them.

I loved the Clifton 1 Hokas but wanted a neutral dark color so I opted for the Valor. Sadly, the Valor shoe is too STIFF. It rolls when you walk instead of bending and feeling like you are walking on marshmallows like the Clifton 1. I am hesitant to order Clifton 2 as I read it is more narrow than the Clifton 1 and I LOVE the roomier width in the toebox of the Clifton 1 - which is no longer available. Bring back the Clifton 1 please!

The size is so so small! I bought a size 38 here which is so so small then I bought another pair 391/4 & it fits!
