Great shoe. Loads of padding, but my right foot is wider than the left, and the shoe didn't work for me.

I love the look of these sneakers. They are very lightweight and very comfortable. I have a problem with my right foot so I get pain in my toes after walking for a few hours well it does happen with these as with all of my shoes and sneakers so it is not these sneakers that are causing the pain. I am keeping them even though they are very pricey so that says it all.
I'd also recommend:

I LOVED this shoe, but I need a wide toe box and a normal to narrow heel. The toe box of this shoe is too tight/ narrow for me - more than other Hoka models like the Conquest. It didn't work for me.
I'd also recommend:
Hoka Conquest (if you also need a wide toe box)

I love Hokas and Stinson 3 is my favorite style for running but their sizing is so inconsistent that it is frustrating!! They need to streamline sizing so one knows their size in any Hoka style.

The jury is still out! I have a problem in that I loved, loved the original Clifton. These are not Clifton's. 1. They seem a bit heavier. 2. I am not sure about what else is different. I had to go up a half size; that's OK. They are not hugely uncomfortable, but they are not so comfortable you forget about them either.

I just got my first pair of Hokas and the verdict is still out. I've used them on 3 runs approximately 18 miles and I think (I hope) my legs are still trying to adjust to them. I've run in Asics for the past 20 years and have had sciatic pain for the past year or so. My husband convinced me to try these. I can't say for sure that my pain is gone...lessened, maybe. But what I'm experiencing now is ankle discomfort. I have small ankles and I don't feel I'm getting the same support from the Hokas that I got from my Asics but again, it may be that I'm still adjusting to this shoe. My ankles feel tired after my run, like I've been running on the side of a hill even though I haven't. I'll have to keep running in these and hope my feet adjust to them and I end up loving them just as much as my husband loves his because they were too expensive not to.

This is not the shoe it used to be. The toe box is way way more narrow. I had to return and get a wide.

The problem is they are way too high and way too stiff. I had Hoka Clifton's before and they have a nice feel to them. I thought these would be a more sturdy shoe for the trails. I'm not happy.

These shoes are pretty comfortable, and I really wanted to like them, but they are just too darn clunky looking. They make my feet look deformed and gigantic, and I am not a Hobbit.

I don't know what all the rage is. These are just okay. I can't really tell there is that much more padding than a high quality running shoe designed with extra cushion. I use those all the time now and feel those are equal, if not better than these.

I have the Stinson 3 running shoe and love it. This Stinson 3 ATR is significantly narrower. Had to send it back

Not particularly comfortable. Needs more cushioning (not as advertised). Would return them if I hadn't already walked outside in them.

These shoes felt so springy under my foot, I was really sorry I had to return them. They are also not too bad looking for a cushioned shoe. Unfortunately, they are much too narrow, even when I ordered a size up. Why does Hoka One One not make their shoes in wide?

I LOVE THE LOOK OF THESE SHOES. I purchased them based on the reviews. First they are snug in the toe box and I do not have wide feet. I wear a size 6 but in these had to size up to 6.5. They fit perfect and were very comfy. I purchased these mainly because I just came out of a 8 weeks of cast and 8 weeks of Boot and now have to wear a brace for 6 weeks due to tearing my tibial tendon and hear these are great shoes for injured feet. The reason however that I gave an overall low rating was because I noticed that they are VERY slippery on the bottom and first day of wearing them (since I can not be barefoot yet per doctors orders) while mopping my hardwood floor, I almost slipped and hurt myself. THe shoe on the bottom is very slippery. I then put on my HOkA One ONe Clifton 3 and had no issues with slipping. so please keep that in mind when purchasing. Had to return.
