I have worn Keds before and really wanted to love these. Unfortunately, there were two issues: one was the fit- they were really tight across the toes and though leather does give a little with wear, I did not want to end up with blisters; and two was the color- it is definitely not anywhere near grey but a milk chocolate brown. I wanted a color that could be worn with different outfits, but this was very BROWN!

I really wanted to love these shoes. They are very cute, in a minimalist chic sort of way. The leather is very nice, and the cushioned insole seems like it would be very comfortable - if I could find the right fit. Unfortunately, my usual size (5.5) was too big - the heels slipped off when walking, and the left shoe (normally a tighter fit due to a slightly larger left foot) was oddly larger than the right. So I returned them and ordered a half size smaller (5). Those fit nicely, not slipping at all, but when I kept them on my feet for a few minutes, I noticed that they were too snug on the instep on one foot, and both heels rubbed immediately after a few steps. To avoid Blister City, I sadly returned those as well. :(

These are very cute and seem like they would be comfortable, however when I walk, the heels slip up. Strangely, although my left foot is slightly larger than the right and shoes always feel snugger on that side, the left shoe in this pair is bigger and slips off my foot more easily and frequently than the other side. I'm returning these for a half size smaller and hope those fit.

I was looking for a pair of comfortable casual shoes that weren’t booties or athletic. Sometimes that’s hard to do! These have worked well so far. In my case, they definitely have a “breaking in” period. They seem to be a little more comfortable to wear for longer periods of time, each time I wear them. They seemed true to size and width. I wear a 9 1/2 in athletic shoes and ordered the same in these. The leather is a nice touch when you want to be casual, but with a nice sweater or jacket. Other brands have very similar shoes with a much higher price tag. Definitely give these a try.

I loved these shoes but unfortunately they had to go back. They are great lightweight, stylish, super comfortable, but the toe box is very tight across top (not width). It feels like a super tight compression sock. For someone with narrow/skinny feet this is probably fine. But for regular feet, I'm surprised how tight it is without socks on. Very sad to have to return these, perfect otherwise.

I wasn’t sure about keeping these as they felt larger/wider than the fabric chillax and the leather was a bit stiff. However I then tried them on with a pair of keds low cut sneaker socks and they felt like a different shoe. Very comfortable and snug on my foot. I wanted a walking shoe for travel that was a bit dressier than a sneaker and it is hard to find smaller size narrower shoes.

The shoe is very cute for the price. The insoles felt super comfortable. I went half a size down like most costumers suggested but I found them too small. I would say stick to your regular size.

These are a great comfortable neutral shoe for everyday running around. I like that they're a little more refined looking than the average slip on sneaker and the leather made them very comfortable. They felt a bit tight at first but after wearing 2-3 times adjusted to my foot really nicely. A few months of wearing them almost daily and they've gotten a little stinky and the rubber is starting to come apart. I do feel like I wore them very well!

Seemed very comfortable, nice little bit of cushion, and true to size. I tried these on barefoot, and they seemed to fit well. I'm normally between an 8 and 8.5 and ordered an 8.5 in these. Insole didn't fit however... but if you really wanted an insole, you could likely rip the attached insole out to accommodate.

I have the burgundy version, which doesn't seem to be available as I write this, although I got them just a few weeks ago. The color is very nice - basically milk chocolate with a very slight reddish tint. As for style - hey, they're *Keds* and no matter what color you get, there's a white band all around the bottom edge. The toe box is very comfortable - you don't feel squeezed in. And the elastic goring means it will be comfortable for a wide range of foot shapes - it's unlikely to be too tight across the top of your foot. The choice of a polka-dotted fabric for the lining, however, was a poor one. In many spots along the top edge of the shoe and the "tongue," the fabric is trimmed through some of the dots, which are white. As a result, when you look down at the shoe and see the top edge, it looks as though the leather is fraying in several, or many, spots. The current (as I write this) top view of the "fog gray" style shows this effect. The pair I received had a flaw in the stitching; the threads were broken, and sticking up on the inside of the shoe along the top, inside edge. I like the shoes enough otherwise, however, that I'm going to return them and order a replacement pair if the burgundy becomes available again. -z

I bought the canvas crashback and wore them all summer, walking miles and miles on city streets in them with no problems or discomfort. I loved that I could just put them on, walk and walk and then thrown them in in the washer. So, I wanted something for autumn and also wanted a neutral color, so ended up with these. Overall, I'm happy with them. The leather is a little less forgiving than the canvas, so they did give me some blisters where they rubbed against my skin. In that sense, they feel smaller than my regular size, but I don't think sizing up would have helped. I think it's just one of those things you have to get used to! The quality is good, the price is a good value and I happily recommend them.

I really like these shoes; the fit is true to size and they are very comfortable. HOWEVER, the first time I ordered these, I ordered the "Brown Leather", which is represented in the photos as a dark brown. What I received instead was the pair that is labeled in the photos as "Cognac", a light tan-ish color. BUT the box itself listed the color as "Grey". Quite a mix-up. I ended up keeping the pair I received, since the "Cognac" color is actual nice (although more "tan" than "Cognac"). I wrote to customer service, explaining the mix-up. They apologized. I tried again to order the "Brown", and also ordered the Black pair, since these really are super-comfortable, cute shoes. Once again, instead of the "Brown", I received the "Cognac"/tan shoes, inside the box that was labeled "Grey". Fun times... :) I'm keeping the Black pair, but will be returning the second pair of "Cognac"/tan (grey??). I have given up on a Brown pair.

These are comfy, the leather is very soft. I rated them 4 star for Comfort instead of 5 stars based on the fact that the left shoe rubs a bit on the top of my foot. Not bad enough for a blister, but annoying. Will try wearing a bandaid in that spot next time I wear them, and hopefully it won't do this once they break in-- only wore them once so far. The color and quality of the leather is good - can dress them up a bit for work or just wear them around casually. I wear an 8 in a lot of shoes but the 7.5 fits me well in these. I have fairly bony and flat feet and they are comfortable for me, but seem like they could be a bit tight across the toes and instep for others with a wider/chunkier foot or high arch.

These were very cute shoes. After wearing them for an hour or so they started rubbing on the side of my foot just below my ankle. It was very uncomfortable! Luckily I had an extra pair of shoes. Unfortunately I'll be sending these back.

These are ADORABLE--the perfect shoe if you're not quite on board with Vans but want a sleeker option. They're flattering even on a size 9 foot and would probably be quite comfortable for most people, but they pulled on my heel in a way that I didn't think I could get past. (I have wide feet and these are pretty narrow.) I'm so bummed!

It did not fit my foot well. Not very much padding.

This shoe felt tight in the toe box. It might stretch, but did not like it enough to see if that would happen. I did like the look of the shoe in that it was not as bulky as some shoes of this type. The white stripe on the bottom of the shoe was too wide and unattractive.

I wanted to love this shoe. Very pretty, but fit was off and had to return.

These are okay, looked cuter online. On my feet they look like little brown ducks. A bit of cushion in the footbed. Back/ankle/heel area runs on my skin. If I were these enough I'd probably break them in bit can't get myself to wear them much.

These shoes were much too small. I actually looked at the box to make sure I had an 8. I also didn't like them enough to get a size up. I order several slip-on style shoes and these did not compare to the Vans, Taos, Vionics or Clarks that I also tried, so they're going back.

These are cute and simple. I typically wear a 10, and these felt a half size too big. I would have kept them if they fit.

The sides of the shoe are quite high and graze the bottoms of my anklebones. On days when I've walked more than 45 minutes total they rubbed the skin under my ankles until it blistered (and later peeled and scarred). The material is quite stiff and a bit rough around the edges. Also there are no vents in the shoes, so they can get quiet warm inside. They look pretty good and there's plenty of room in the toe box. The heel has already started to wear after six months of occasional wear. I wouldn't recommend keeping them if you find that your ankles graze the sides and you need to do much walking.
