First of all I am not young having just turned 71 and I had never ordered from Frye before but decided to try a few different styles. These Tyler boots are PERFECT. They feel like they were made for my foot. They don't have arch support but the way the boot is cut and fits it still supports by foot when I walk. The leather is amazing and the double zippers are truly awesome. I have been wearing Doc Martens for the passed few years and the laces all the time are getting to be a challenge. These are a cutting edge look with easier on and off. The laces add a nice kick of style. I love them. My first pair was black but I adore them so much I ordered the cognac so I have a change. Between the two I know whatever I wear will be comfortable and they look as good under my boot cut jeans as they do with my leggings......I am a convert to Frye boots now.

The boots are cute, but for the price, I expected more. There is no arch support and they seem to run pretty narrow. I ordered the Born Kelisa for half the price and they fit like a dream!

I love this shoe. Support, comfort and style combined in a hearty boot. Took a blister to get them fully comfortable but I've worn them everyday since. They're great dressed up or down and the craftsmanship can't be beat. I'm always happy with Frye.... and Zappos's great service!

I have a narrow foot and these boots are a fantastic fit. They felt comfortable right away and didn't need a break-in period. I live in a New England city and these boots kept my feet warm walking around town to run errands in December even though they aren't meant specifically to be cold weather boots. They are a great every day boot and stylish - I ordered these Frye boots, a pair of Clark Swansea Ledge boots, and the Frye Melissa Lace Short boot to try on. The Frye Tyler Double Zip were the most comfortable of the three and got thumbs up for style from my family.

These are amazing! I love the edgy zippers, the leather laces and the heal height. There is no arch support and I am a person that needs arch support, but the way Frye boots are made I feel like I can wear them all day, the heal height and the high quality leather, so perfect. The cap top is strong enough that it will protect your toes. The inside of the boot is so soft leather, I don't even want to wear socks. The bottom of the boot is no slip, I like that I don't have to get a sole put on, like I needed to do with my tall Phillip Frye. There is less wiggle room than Phillips, but I prefer it. These boots will save you money b/c they are so amazing you wont want to wear/buy anything.

I absolutely love these boots! They are very comfortable and run true to size. I have a narrow foot and my foot doesn't swim around in the footbed like it does in some boots. I could see that you might not like them if you have wide feet. I've worn them several times already all day long, and they feel as good on my feet at the end of the day as they did at the beginning.

This Frye boot is very sturdy! Takes a little 'breaking in' initially but is an awesome shoe. Not for wide feet, it is snug over the instep & on the narrow side in general. Love!

Sorry to disagree with the previous reviewer, but I'm a huge fan of Frye and have 3 pairs of riding boots that I love. I ordered these in the same size that I have the other boots in (size 8) and they were snug barefooted! I'm able to wear thick socks with my riding boots, but I was barely able to fit into these without any socks on. Unfortunately I'm returning them, but I will repurchase them in a half size or even full size larger. The boots are beautiful and feel so sturdy. I can't wait to wear them this fall/winter!

I love these! They are high quality, durable and stylish. I typically wear a size 7, but had to go down 1/2 size to 6.5.

Super cool boots, great leather but they looked a little too blankly on my feet. Like all free products the boots were well made a beautiful.

Wanted to love these...but almost everything is off; narrow design even for a narrow 6.5-7 foot (these hurt), non-existing arch support and a look that resembles an old brown sock pulled over a shoe rather than a stylish combat boot. Sending them back.

Let me start off by saying these boots are beautiful. The color, the double zippers, I love it all. The boots are very well constructed and heavy. However, I've worn them about 5 times now, and they are not comfortable at all. They hit about 3 inches above my ankle and they are very stiff. I've loosened the ties and it doesn't help. Wish I could send them back.
