Best thing? Classic black shoe. Worst thing? So classic it's a little boring and reads like a service worker shoe to me. Toe is slightly pointy for a round toe. If you're looking for something menswear inspired that actually fits a woman's foot, this is a great choice. Substantial and solid, not flimsy like some women's versions of "men's" shoes. Awesome Frye quality, beautifully made but a tad boring. I'll keep looking for something just a little more stylish.

These shoes were everything I hoped they would be. Great fit and very comfortable. You can tell just by holding them they're quality workmanship. Shoes that you can expect to last for years with proper care.

Beautifully crafted. It's taking a little breaking in, but that's a Frye shoe. Once broken in, a lifetime of comfort. The color is like nothing in my closet, but, surprisingly, they go with a lot of things. As a result of buying these, I ended up buying them in black a few days later. I'm thrilled with both pairs.

Love these shoes. Trusted Frye quality, comfort & style.....I got the cement color and love how different it is - goes with everything. will be a staple this winter.

Beautiful, beautiful shoe. It actually looks like a very expensive shoe too. It does run tight if you have a high arch, but would probably ease a bit as time went on.

I was hesitant at first to purchase this brand because of the cost, however, once I received them, looked at the color and put them on, I was glad I did. The quality is excellent. It is genuine leather in a rich burgundy/brown. You can dress them up or down with dress slacks or a pair of jeans. They are very comfortable and the arch support is very good. I have a narrow foot and it is hard to find narrow shoes so I buy "B" width shoes and wear thicker socks. With this shoe, it fits more narrow and my foot is not swimming in the shoe. I have very narrow heals as well. The front part of my foot is not narrow and this shoe does not make my foot feel as those it is in a vise. No super thick sock is needed with these shoes. I would not say it is a narrow shoe but I would say it would fit a narrow foot better than a lot of "B" width shoes I have tried. I have 2 pairs of Rockport shoes similar in style to this Frye shoe and this Frye blows them out of the water as far as fit and comfort.

These run true to size. They are made from beautiful leather. They are very sturdy and well made. I got a slight blister on the heel the first day, but the two other pairs of Frye boots that I own took a while to break in. But I have had those for over a decade. I am keeping them.

This shoe was the best of several pairs I ordered. Color is nice for dark jeans ( it's not gray, it's a pretty brown). It's sized correctly and not too tight on the toes and not too long. It doesn't look too masculine. I recommend it.

Just received mine, these are wonderful! Put them right on and felt great. I have a more than medium width and they are comfortable. Tad long but will keep. I wear a 7, true to size.

The shoes are even more beautiful in person than in the picture. The leather padding on the inside is intensely comfortable. I found that the show is a little longer than my normal 7.5, but not long enough that I would size down. A lot of room for the toes!

These are such beautiful shoes. I love wearing them and have received many compliments. I was looking for a menswear style oxford, tried on several options, and these were by far the best in terms of quality materials and craftsmanship. They are made from thick, heavy leather with a leather sole that can be replaced when it becomes worn -- these are shoes to last a lifetime. The "cement" color is a lovely taupe, between tan and gray, that has proven surprisingly versatile. Because of the thick, stiff leather, these shoes do require a significant breaking-in period. The first time I wore them I got bad blisters almost immediately. I solved this by wearing thicker socks and adding heel inserts, which made for a tight fit but protected me from more blisters. After about 5 wears they were comfortable with regular socks and no inserts. I wouldn't tolerate this sort of fussiness with most shoes, but I really loved these. They're still not my choice for a full day of walking, but for a regular day at the office (with a mile of walking each way on my commute) they're fine.

Beautiful shoe! But, too narrow for me. To be fair my foot is wide but I am able to wear a M width in some styles. These shoes are a little to pointy.

I am very happy with the simple, classic style of this shoe. The fit feels slightly large but not enough to go a half size down. There is no pinching or chafing around the toes or instep. The padded insole and flexible leather used for most of the shoe make it generally comfortable for walking, however the material used around the heel is very stiff and chafes at the side of my foot.

Very beautiful shoes, but I'm normally a 7.5 and these feel like a 7. After wearing them for 5 minutes and walking around, I got really bad blisters on the back and side of my heels. Just beware with sizing...other than that, they look great.

Loved the price for this Frye pair, but when I tried them on,they looked too much like utility shoes against my wardrobe. Know though that the leather felt wonderful. Unfortunately, I'm returning them.

Narrow across the toe box and very stiff. Seem very high quality but not comfortable. Also a shallow shoe. My heel kept slipping out. The dark laces and the lighter leather bothered me style wise. Went with the Clarks Hamble Oak instead. If Frye's fit your foot then these might be great but I have not had good luck with any Frye's.

The shoes are beautiful, however, I got insane blisters after wearing them for two hours. I let the blisters heal and tried again, but same result. I wish they were not so painful because they are definitely worth the money.

I wanted to like these shoes but did not for 2 reasons. First, they were uncomfortably stiff and seemed like they would take a long time to break in. Second, compared to other oxford styles, these were a bit too masculine for me. They're going back.

Awful! The only thing good about this shoe is the look! STIFF and HEAVY. High on ankle. I called to return them within 5 minutes of receiving them!
