They say a dirty dog is a happy dog, and if they're right, my dog is the happiest. He loves the water and the mud and even a thorough towel off often isn't enough, since he is an English Springer Spaniel (who is in fact probably related to the tri-color spaniel on the packaging) and has a medium length coat. The Dirt Bag Seat Cover fits perfectly in my 2017 Subaru Outback and attaches easily and quickly to the back headrests and front headrests. There are flaps on each side which tuck under the outside part of the back seat to prevent mud and water from getting on the upholstery when my dog jumps up into the car: a very thoughtful design addition I haven't seen in other back seat dog "hammocks." The Dirt Bag Seat Cover has has also prevented my dog from getting into the front seat.

My brother in law drove his dog the four hours to a weekend trip and showed us this great buy! They said it was perfect and nice if you add a blanket. Their dog often gets sick in the car and it was perfect for them. I used it in my car and it worked perfectly! My dog sheds pretty bad and this helped to keep all the dog hair off my car's seats and ground. Great buy!!
