The bowl I received is too small for my dog to use. His head/snout is too big for it to be much use for us.

I prefer the stiff sided collapsible bowl for water for my pup. This style doesn't dry as fast & it gets dirty/muddy easily which isn't easily cleaned in the field.

Love the product but it was sized for a chihuahua not a typical outdoor adventure dog. More a reflection of Cairn than ruff wear as we use most of their products.

Bowl was way too small for the size of dog most "outdoor" kind of people have out on the trail. Was more the size for a small house dog.

Interesting concept. It is probably ok for small dogs. My pointer could barely fit her muzzle into the bowl so she really didn't use it.

If you have a small dog, this is great water bowl for you pup while out hiking or adventuring. Unfortunately, my Great Dane's face wouldn't fit into the opening for it to be an effective water bowl for her. I did think the reflective stripe around the top of the bowl was a nice touch, and the over quality was good... just not big enough for my pup.

The bowl its self is nice, just way to tiny for my dog.

Way too small for our dog; already have products like this.

My dog is 100 pounds,so a larger bowl is required. I did share with a friend.

I have a large dog and this pouch is a little small for her. I know that it would be great for a smaller dog.

It's lightweight on can be folded and stuffed into a bag but I much prefer the silicone collapsable bowls. Because this bowl is softer, the sides are not ridged and it's very difficult for a dog to get all of the food or water out of the bottom sides of the bowl. Especially a larger dog like mine.

It can be difficult to clean with the inner lining and doesnt fold well for on the go" use.

Reason this is rated low is the price. I've been using similar water bowls that I've picked . My favorite collapsible bowl has a drawstring cover that goes over the top, allowing you to close the top.

you need to ask for a dog size in your information request so you can send appropriate gear. the bowl you sent is for a puppy or very small dog, not deep enough for my golden to drink from. good product, i have had a ruffwear bowl for many years now. I took dog stuff off my list because of this inclusion. i have no use for tiny bones or leashes designed for a pug.

i love the idea, but after having the water in the bowl for about 5 hours, the water was leaking/sweating through the fabric. Not very practical for long time use, but great for a quick sip.

This bowl is too small for my dogs. It looks like good construction but does not easily accommodate large-muzzled dogs.

I have a larger dog and it is hard for him to get his snot in the bowl. Worked for our hike, but a larger bowl would work better.

This might have been a cool product if my dog was small enough to put his nose in it.

I've actually used this product before, and I've found it to be less than ideal for camping. It's very difficult to clean on trail, and I've moved on to collapsible silicone bowls, which take up just as much space, are lighter, and easier to keep clean.

This has been around for awhile, I already have one and they are excellent

The only reason I don't have a higher rating is because I own a Labrador, and the bowl is a bit small for it's function for a larger dog. Lola would drink the amount of liquid this holds in about two slurps! Other than that, it serves it's purpose well.
