Great boots! Very comfortable, soft leather upper. They look great with just about any attire, even a winter suit, if they're clean. I've had these for a year now and they've held up great. The rubber lug soles are still in good shape too. Size is right on - I'm normally a 11.5 and these fit perfectly.

If there is a better boot like this, I sure haven't found it. They are expensive, but worth every penny. I walk dogs, bartend and ride motorcycles in these boots everyday. They fit like a glove too. Every dude has a "boot size" the he likes. Get that one and you'll be fine. No aches or pains ever. Mad I waited so long to purchase.

Ordered boot in 9.5, too narrow. went with a 10 and it fit great. Quality sucked. Toe cap was 1/4" longer on the left boot. Really obvious and looked like seconds. Unacceptable for a boot in this price range. Zappos/10, Frye/5. I'm ordering another pair in 10 and hoping they are of the quality I expect from Frye.

The boot leather shown on Zappos's site is a misrepresentation of the actual boot. What is shown appears to be a kidskin grain/type of leather with a medium sheen. The actual boot is a flat, less brown, tanner calf or cowhide which is smooth. My left boot at the heal cup where is joins the boot shaft bent-in to my ankle and even wearing these around the home for a couple hours caused discomfort. If I had worn these for a day, I would be in pain. I've had this happen before with some western boots, so I know where it's going, which unfortunately is why I returned them. *Note: My Bedstu boots, (similar in style) fit perfect with no pain or aberrations where the heal cup joins the shaft.

Firstly the advertised boot is not what you'll receive. The online picture is more of a Kidskin leather and the actual boot is a smooth calf or cowskin leather, and lighter in color. My boot on the left foot was defective. The heal cup where it joins the shaft bent in, which caused pain in my left side of my ankle, which is a poor workmanship issue; I had them on only a few hours in my home. Walking around in these would've killed me. It's too bad, since I love the "jump style" boot. Disappointed in this for sure.

I don’t know about the reviews that said to size up , mine are a 9 1/2 and fit like a glove and they are a beautiful boot I would highly recommend these for anyone I give Frye a two thumbs up

I ordered a half size up according to some of the reviews I read and they were too big so I am returning them for my size is 9 1/2 the cognac looks more like tan so I’m getting the brushed off brown great looking boots and smell the whole room of leather when you take them out of the package. Definitely recommend these boots

These are awesome boots. The Tyler double jips look great and feel great. I wear them with my Seattle made Utilakilts , and the look combined with the Cabela's Safari Shirts is amazing. All Class! So if you want to walk the World and Travel wear these Frye's and you will travel in Class.

Love the look of this boot but it runs narrow, order 1/2 size larger if your feet are slightly wide. Finish and quality are what I would expect from Frye... See my review on size 10.

These run true to size. They are high quality leather. They run very narrow. I am keeping them but I will not be able to wear heavy socks with them.

A handsome, well crafted boot for sure. Material quality is on par with the price. I regrettably had to return these because they run very narrow. The shoe size is correct in length, but even my narrow feet won't fit in there comfortably with normal socks. I'd have to order a full size larger, which would mean my toe's an inch an a half away from the tip. Just not a proper fit for me.

Top shelf craftsmanship is no surprise at this price point. These boots are stylish and obviously well-made in every detail. If I have one criticism, it would be that despite their excellent construction, they offer a rather plain wearing experience. There's detectable arch support but nothing extraordinary. And if I have one warning, it would be TO LISTEN TO OTHER VIEWERS who urge buyers to PURCHASE A HALF SIZE LARGER than you'd expect. These puppies run skinny around the bridge so until you give them a good stretch, your dogs'll suffer. I'd definitely buy this brand and style again—but I'd definitely up the size a touch. They're just enough off that I waited too long to feel ethical in exchanging them.

A classic looking boot - glad I ordered a 1/2 size up, otherwise very comfortable and well made. I normally wear 10.5, but ordered size 11. Size and width criteria I used for this review is based on sizing up to 11 Cheers...

Great looking and smelling boot, but I found them to be a bit narrow and I don't have a wide foot. I see that some reviewers have mentioned these being narrow and have gone up a 1/2 size and found comfort. I will return and size up 1/2 and hope this solves the issue.

The boot was narrower than a “D” by quite a bit. Too tight and I have a narrow foot so the size advertised and the actual size were all wrong.
