I wear this shoe 100% of the time. I have 2 pair for in the house, I pair for lawn and garden work and 1 pair for travel. I have purchased at least a dozen pairs over the past 8 years. Super shoes.

I usually drill holes in the sides of the arch area to let air in and out to breath better. Needs some vents in toe box too, especially for hot summer wear.
I have wide bunion area feet and narrow heel area. I go back and forth from my size 12 to the 13s from time to time. I have wondered if my feet don't change size a bit from time to time. I am 75 yrs old.
I have to tighten the straps down more, the grip material is not long enough on the flap or strap part. As a result the strap looks like it is flying open on the ends.
I have odd feet it seems and these are the best I have found for not putting a lot of pressure on my bunions, on which I have had to have surgery.
If other sporty styles of your shoes had special fasteners I would try them too.
I like fasteners as they are helpful to elderly folks like me who don't like to bend over too far.

I bought these for my husband who has dementia and has difficulty getting dressed. He previously had slip-on Skechers tennis shoes with elastic laces, but the back of the shoe kept getting stuck under his heel when he tried to put them on, so I wanted a shoe that would open wider. These seem to work just fine. He normally wears a wide width (E) but it was not available in this shoe so I ordered the regular (as opposed to extra-wide). Since these are velco they seem to fit just fine, and are much easier to put on him.

I have Parkinson's Disease; I use a Rollator; I need sturdy, safe, easy-to-put-on shoes. These SKECHERS are all of those as well as being quite "cool" looking. The lack of laces is very helpful. I am delighted!
