These shoes would be perfect if they had more padding around the whole top line, the part that wraps around your ankle.

Getting older and can't reach down easily to tie laces, so I got these. Easy to put on and easy to adjust and close the straps. I wish the toe box was bigger from top to bottom ( it's wide enough ). The insole is comfortable, but I don't know how it would be for someone that walks a lot.

The shoes are perfect, but too small. Returned shoes and will order one size larger when in stock.

My only disappointment was the width of the shoes did not provide a width that I wanted; my choices were only two with one being too small and one too large resulting in my having to go with the larger choice.

I usually buy New Balance for my husband because he needs the width - saw these were a 4E so thought we'd try something new. Nope - he says they are very narrow. Back to New Balance. They are nice looking shoes with lots of ground surface.
I'd also recommend:
NEW BALANCE 4e

Fit and size were fine. Shoe quality itself was very low -- the back heel part peeled off after less than 1 year of wear.

Loved the way these shoes looked, they fit great, were comfortable until walked in awhile. The thickness of the soles made me have back and hip pain. Great shoe for those that can wear them. They’ll make you taller.

I'm an old man and these shoes are perfect for me. I don't have to bother with tying the laces.

Unfortunately the wearer's feet are like a shoe box, i.e. square, wide and deep across where the velcro strap needs to cover. That being said, the only complaint thus far is the velcro strap was about two inches too short. Will take them somewhere to have velcro extension added.

I have a hard time getting Skechers to fit. I ordered a half size larger than my New Balance and the 4e extra wide. The shoes were still too tight even not having secured the hook and loop straps! The shoes were also heavier than I would prefer. The shoes look stylish and seem well made.

I have wide feet due to bunions and need this in extra wide. The problem I have is that the heel area needs to be tighter. The shoe feels like it flops.

They felt a bit smaller than a 4E, and the velcro straps weren't long enough to extend over the top of the shoe. I will need to purchase velcro extenders in order to wear them.

Pros: Shoes were VERY comfortable, and I love the convenience of the velcro. Great for walking, and general everyday wear. Great price, too. Cons: Durability issues. Within 8 months, the uppers have started tearing loose. This happened even though I did not put the shoes through any sort of abuse (no hiking or rugged terrain). I suppose the low price comes with a compromise in quality

This is the first pair of Skechers I've purchased, I used to buy New Balance but they've made some factory changes and their shoes no longer fit me correctly. So these Skechers seemed to be a good choice but they were a disappointment. First let me say that the shoes I received were very obviously returns, they came in a generic brown cardboard Zappos box instead of a Skechers box. That was fine, I tried them on anyway, just to see what the fit was because I liked the style. Unfortunately, the fit was miserable. The length was fine, the width was fine. The arch support seemed nonexistent though, which surprised me. And you know how when you step into a shoe it cradles and supports your foot? This didn't happen with these, it's like different parts of my foot hit different parts of the shoe at different time as I stepped into them, and even when I tried to apply foot pressure evenly things kept shifting. I was like what-the-what????? I kept stepping to see if the weirdness would stop but it didn't. Maybe the sole was flexing or giving out or defective or ????? I've never felt anything like it so I have zero frame of reference and can't begin to guess what this problem was. But I could tell that if I wore them for more than a few minutes, I'd end up with blisters and very sore feet so they are going back. Not all foot sizes may experience this issue and it makes me nuts that zappos doesn't include shoe size as a review option because the problem a wide foot person has with a shoe may not be present for a narrow foot person for the exact same shoe and vice versa. So for your own reference I purchased the men's size 8, width 4E. And they were extremely cool-looking shoes and I'd have loved for them to fit. But, ouch. So, back they go.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance, if you have a time machine and can buy them in 2010 when they were still good shoes

As expected, these are a little tight for my feet. I really need a 6E width with a boxier / less tapered toe. Passable for a couple of hours but uncomfortable over an 8 hour work shift. Will keep as a backup pair, but will be getting a different brand that comes in 6E widths and extra depth (which I just found out about) for my primary pair.
