Great shoes. My 5 year old son looks really fast in them. Salomon builds a good product. I've read some other reviews about the quick laces--you need to tuck them under the flap on the top of the tongue to keep them out of the way. Great shoes. Totally recommend them.

Great shoes, very solid. Other sneakers fall apart in the span of two months: Nike, Reebok, Saucony and more have all failed us. Great arch support, good cushioning, excellent treads and strong lacing system. Bright color selection is a plus. Salomon is the go to shoe brand for the entire family, ages 9 to 78.

8 year old LOVES these shoes, so do my husband and I. The color is awesome, and who doesn't love a quick lacing system when you're trying to get out the door. He has been wearing them everyday since he got them!

My child has only tried them in and not worn them outside yet. They look well made and seem comfortable. They do run small so we are glad we ordered a size up. I was a little disappointed after ordering these that I could have bought the exact same shoe, size and color, directly from Solomon for $15 less.

My son loves these we bought this color and the red pair..I wish laces were different. I like that they are no tie..but maybe bungie places or something. The laces are thin & they've already broken on the blue/green pair & bcuz they arent reg laces I have no idea where to replace them..so that's disappointing

I would have rated these shoes 5 stars but the cinch-type device doesn't hold your selected shoestring tension securely. It slips making the shoes feel loose. I had to literally tie the excess cord around one of the shoestrings so that the cinch would not slip. On the positive side, these shoes provide excellent traction on the dry, rocky mountain trails in AZ. Also, they are very comfortable and light weight.

These are comfortable and great looking shoes. The only problem are that shoe laces are too thin and weak. They are not compabitle with general brands out there. Despite the shoes being in great condition my son could not use them anymore because the shoe laces broke and we could not find another pair to match.

Awesome shoe, horrible shoe lace design :( These fit my son perfectly and the shoe/sole held up with a very rough 8 year old boy that goes to school at an outdoor nature school. However, the laces are a very thin stretchy material that is fed through fabric loops. Despite my son basically slipping them on and not really adjusting them day to day, several of the loops holding the laces in have broke after only a couple of months. Zappos is refunding and their customer service has been great, but I cannot recommend the design of this shoe lace (at least for a kid's shoe)
