I'm a big fan of Columbia's Steens Mountain 2.0 full zip fleeces, though I was looking for something that was a little bit higher quality then that. I found it in the Cascades Explorer. The qualities which differentiate this fleece from the Steens, are: this one has more of a fitted / active fit, compared with the Steens' slightly more casual fit. The fleece is also finer and less fluffy, but still soft - which I think makes it look a bit more upscale. I also like that it has a 3rd pocket located at chest on the left side. Regarding warm, I would rate both of them about equal Overall this is a great fleece jacket. It fits great (size M, 175lbs, 6'0), is soft and warm, and it looks very nice.

I bought this for my son to layer or wear on its own during colder months in Florida. he loved it. It fit perfectly and was perfect weight.

This product is true to size and is comfortable. It is warm and always looks like you just took it off the hanger. Style and functional.

This jacket is great. It does run a little large, though.

Bought this to replace my old L.L.Bean fleece and I am really happy. The extra ticket on the breast is nice feature. The inside pockets are nice too. Lots of room. The draw string on the side is nice. Stays out of the way. I bought this during the winter sale. So it's a great jacket for the price. Might be a little pricey at full price.

This is a great lightweight jacket/sweater. Great for cool days, keeps you warm and no bulk at all!

I had already bought this product for my self, so when I was looking for something for my fiance, I ended up getting her the same thing I bought for myself. It worked out great since she is a 2x in woman's. My XL size is the same as her 2X size. No brainer.

I liked mine so well I bought one for my son. Zippers could use some improvement.

Good all around lightweight jacket. Nice athletic look with clean lines so it can be worn most everywhere. Has a good zipper and inside pockets. It's a little longer past the waist with an adjustable elastic helps keep the chill out.

Bought this as a gift for my dad and he loves it. The red is dark and not too bright. Love the feel of it. He's going to get a lot of use out of this!

This is the way to go for comfort and keeping one warm. Way better than a plain ol' sweatshirt.
