My purpose for these shoes was for a hip-hop dance class. I needed supportive sneakers with just enough slip on the ball of the foot to allow pivot and protect my aging knees. I wear a 6½-7WW street shoe. These shoes were much too narrow for me, with excess length beyond my toes. I liked the lightweight profile and slim sole, and would like to see something like it in a wider width.

I wanted so much to fall in love with these. Aesthetically, they are gorgeously designed shoes. I ordered these wanting them for zumba and other dance classes but when I put them on it had absolutely zero shape/cushion/support whatsoever - I actually felt that I would be more stable barefoot. They were super tight as well so if you are buying I would go half a size up from your normal shoe size. I love my other Asics at home for walking but these dance shoes are sadly going back.

I love this shoe! Asics clearly used a model who actually wears a size 11! Great shoe, very comfortable and light, moves with me. I use these shoes for running too, even though they are dance shoes, but I won't apologize, they totally fit the bill!!

I really wanted to love these shoes, they might be great for some people but the bump on the top of my foot kept being rubbed when I would bend my foot during dance workouts. It is almost as it the material bends too far inside and the fabric was denting into the top of my foot right past my toes. I love the design, it is super light weight and very flexible. I would still give it a try to see if it works for you because not every foot is created equal. After all you can always send it back for free like I did.

I purchased these shoes for my qigong and bagua training. With minimalist bottoms, they are great for gripping the earth and flexible for kicking in various foot positions. I've put them through extensive training over the past few months, and they are holding up well and still look almost new. I don't much like the look of any athletic shoes these days-just too much going on, but these aren't too outrageous in their black and silver color scheme. I love them so much, I am buying a second pair.

I love these shoes! They are exactly what I was looking for, which was a well-made, light weight sneaker to wear for running around or shopping. I hate wearing clunky, heavy sneakers when I'm going to be out shopping several hours and these fill the bill! They are true to size, comfortable, roomy without ordering a wide shoe and stylish. I'm very happy with my purchase and you will be too!

I do zumba every week for years and had the old version of these, which I loved, but it was time for a new pair. I ordered these and although they are not as colorful as I'd like, they definitely do the job. They do still let you turn and pivot easily the way you need to in a dance class. I think some reviews say order a half size up, but my normal size fits perfectly!

My purpose for this purchase was to use in Martial Arts...Tai Mantis Kung Fu. I need a shoe with a sole that doesn't restrict movement in any direction, is flexible and supple and provides support and some cushion. The shoe is a little wider than normal regulars. It has a sole appropriate to my needs but could use additional arch support. I could feel the seam across the toe during my first workout. I hope that softens during the shoe break-in period. Other than the items above, they are serviceable for this purpose.

I won these shoes at work to use for a Dance/Zumba Class to try out several bands of shoes for dance classes. I found these shoes very light, wonderful flexibility but I found that I really did not have any support. My feet were hurting, information claims that it has the EVA footbed but I did not feel that it gave me full support. The fit was perfect, I read where others said that they felt narrow in width, I did not experience that. I found it had plenty of room for your toes to wiggles. I will not recommend this shoe for an intense Zumba Class.

Didn't feel that these shoes had much support or cushioning. I am returning. However they are good looking shoes, just not what I was looking for.
