It's a tremendous difference in the comfort of Converse since Nike took over.

To start with I shop at Zappos because of the very best support, in fact I would gladly spend an additional 10 - 20 for that reason alone. I did my college final presentation on Zappos and focused on the support that is bar none. The shoes are great, these are very comfortable Converse with padding in all the right places. Knowing that customer service goes above and beyond I wanted these shoes with white laces as the combo looks amazing. See Adidas Raf Simons and you will see how cool the white laces look. I called and requested the white laces which I noticed a slight decline in service from a few years ago, almost a turn down. I requested further and she was able to find some white laces in a warehouse which I received today (after 5 minutes of saying YES has to be possible). They are far too short to use. I would have thought they would check the size and make sure the laces are the right size prior to sending. I felt the request was slightly lazy for a company that is known for world renown support. Good support for an average support company, but not worth the extra dime type thing. I went and purchased a set of white laces to use elsewhere and am fine with that. I know it is not fair to review the shoe on the service but in this case, being that this company is built on service I do feel it is correct. The shoes get 5 stars, the service gets 3 and could have been way more solid.

Read other reviews about them running half a size small, so I got half size down and they feel like half-size too small. Stick to your guns. They are very nice though.

Look great, love the style. Thick padded canvas around ankle.Just really wish they made these with the All Star II soles. They would be so much more comfortable, only downfall.

My son needed them for his band clas's they required black shoes he has dressed shoes. These were perfect. The fit was spot on. These will be replaced in the following years with the same.

I love the look style of these shoes. I've had both the all black high tops as well as the low tops. The only problem I will say I experienced with them is that after only 4 months or so of wearing them, the fabric where the toe bends on the shoe started to fade. I had the high top regulars for almost 5 years and wore them everyday to work and they never faded. These now look very very worn even though I work a office job. Again still a really great looking shoe and style, just not too sure about the wear.

My order came quickly course because it's ZAPPOS! The Converse fit very well I got the men's nine because I wear an 11 it's a beautiful shoe it looks good, and fits well. I intend to wear them with my skinny jeans, white boyfriend shirt and a blazer!!

I wear a EUR 35 (US Men's 3 Women's 5) and this style is true to size. I like the fact that there's no arch support, as I use Birkenstock's Blue Footbed for all my shoes. The order was super easy and friendly! I had already ordered this same style through Amazon, and the box was mislabeled. The EUR 35 was actually a US Men's 5 Women's 7! I am ordering all my shoes through Zappos from now on. I called the toll free number because of the mislabeled order I had placed through Amazon. Maynard took my order over the phone, was friendly and upgraded me to free next day shipping. Jamaal chatted online with me today to tell me how I could leave a good review that will help other customers also, who may want to buy this style. Thank you Zappos!

Absolutely love this shoe! I've always liked the way Converse look and have always wanted a pair but I just found them to be so uncomfortable with the lack of cushioning. This shoe solves that problem! They still have the traditional look of Converse (especially with pants), but the comfort of a more modern athletic shoe. I hope they keep this style around forever! Like regular Converse, they do run big though. Usually wear a men's 9 and I got a men's 8 in these and they fit perfect (women's 10).

Reading that these run a half size larger I ordered a half size smaller and they feel a half size smaller. Nice color, good looking but they lack arch support.

Super cute and super comfortable! I just have to wear socks that go above my ankles or else they rub them.

Zappos delivery, customer service and the product overall was nothing short of fantastic. Delivery was on time and packaging was just fine. Even with all this, I ordered a size too large and when I contacted customer service, a new pair was shipped out free of charge! I was able to send back the oversized pair free of charge as well. I am not aware of many businesses that allow free shipping on returns and on orders; however, that is a huge plus in my book. The shoes are constructed well, fit great and look fine. Just for the Chuck Taylor shoes just know they fit anywhere from a full to half size larger than advertised.

Prior to this purchase I was always hesitant about rocking the high tops (all I could see in the mirror was cankles). But the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star High Street Mono Canvas Hi, despite the long name, lived up to the anticipation I had while clicking on the shipping tracking update a couple times a day. These are quality shoe that will hold up through the daily grind. Earning me many compliments at all the coffee shops I go to. Just enough Marty McFly to the look to keep your role fresh.
