I absolutely LOVE these Chan Luu cashmere scarves! I have 3 and (unlike the previous reviewer), I have never had any trouble with holes -- they are extremely soft, but not overly fragile. They are BIG in size but not bulky so you can wear them in so many different ways -- as a "shawl" over bare arms or tripled up to keep your neck warm in winter. They are not inexpensive -- but they are luxurious and versatile -- a wonderful value.

Scarf is beautiful at first, but fabric's open weave is too delicate and snags too easily. As a result, it looks horrible after a few wearings. Thank you Zappos customer service for addressing my complaint.

An off-white scarf may not sound sexy, but when it is paired with colorful clothing, it totally fits the bill! No one ever complements me on the scarf, but whenever I wear it, people tell me I look really good. This scarf is comfortable and versatile. When the air conditioning gets too strong I use it as a wrap. It is worth the money.

I have had 6 Chan Luu cashmere and silk scarves 3 of various colors and 3 black. Unfirtunately or fortunately for the person who finds it, I have left 2 of the black at various places. I always order another! I consider it my pet and love it! It is very light, very warm, folds into a tiny square and is essential for travel.

I ordered the Urban chic hoping for dark gray. There’s a muted blue green tone and lucky for me that color brightens my eyes. Every time I wear this scarf I’m asked if I’m wearing contacts because my eyes light up. The minor “holes” can be stretched and disappear. I’m loving it!!!

On my computer screen, the grey/blue looked more periwinkle blue than grey, but it's really dark grey with a hint of blue. I was hoping for the former. It also looks quite fragile.

Color quite different from as pictured--it's purple. Not as soft as expected from a scarf at this price point.

LOVE this scarf!!! Scarfs are my jacket/sweater of choice. This scarf is by far my favorite. A little pricey but if you love scarfs as much as I do, you might be willing to pay the price.

Okay. So. Let me preface this by saying I really don’t leave negative reviews. Like, ever. Everybody has bad days and will be off their game from time to time so sometimes the item you are purchasing is not always at its best quality. And you know normally I just think of that as being a part of the trials and error of being a consumer. Sometimes things aren’t great and we have to accept and move on. But this time I have to say something. And I hate to do it because it otherwise is a beautiful scarf! It’s soft and comfortable, and lightweight enough for layering! The color is lovely and I would still consider purchasing another in the future! But I don’t think I’ll do it thru Zappos. Which is a bummer because I’m a longtime customer and I’ve loved shopping on this site for years. But the reason I’m hesitant now is because I’m not sure I can trust all sanitation best practices are being followed. I purchased this scarf on sale and I’m very glad I didn’t pay full price. Because having to sanitize a brand new item and clean out someone else’s HAIR that is threaded throughout, from a very obviously used item is not the first thing I want to be doing when it arrives in the mail. And like there are a couple tiny holes and runs in the scarf but it’s delicate fabric so I know to expect that kind of thing. The hair though? Really not so much. I get it Zappos, you’re a big company and I’m sure hundreds of items get returned to you everyday. But please, if you’re going to resell those items can you at least make sure they’re cleaned first?

The color is sort of weird almost dark peach. Chan Luu scarves are lovely -- but fabric and weave are quite delicate though feel lovely and come in many pretty colors and options. This one just was not for me.
