Such an amazing snow suit! I ordered one size down based on other reviews it fit big & wish I wouldn't have. Got a 2T (our guy is currently in 3T) and it's definitely too small. But we've had several snow days already & was desperate. I'd say definitely order normal size.

Perfect fit for my 4 year old daughter with a bit of growing room. I do wish the pants were a bit longer for taller kids, but it should last at least one more season.

I love the quality of Columbia gear, it's my go-to for my kiddo's winter snow-play needs. We aren't of skiing age yet, but this would be awesome for it. I was happy that it ran large and even better, there's a thread you can pull out to lengthen the pants to get some more life out of them! Just brilliant! For reference my kid fits perfectly into Carters 4T pajamas and even some 5T. He wears mostly 4T clothing, some 3T pants and Shirts still fit. I actually bought the 4T in this and sent it back because it was huge!! We even had the 2T before this and while the coat still fit the pants were as tight and short as they could get without not being able to close the top velcro or sit down :D I also love the velcro opening to the top of the ski pants and the fleece to make it comfortable.

Love the color and fit! It will fit my daughter for atleast 2-3 years especially with outgrow system! So happy I went with Columbia! Dries really fast!

I purchased a 3T for my 27 month old daughter who is just shy of 34 in and weighs 30 lb. I was looking at the other at Columbia jackets but figured for an extra 20 bucks why not get the snow suit with it and we've already used it to splash in the mud and water when it was raining so it's definitely served its purpose already even though we don't live in a snowy area. The jacket is perfect it's very lightweight but also keeps my daughter warm I like the adjustable hood and it does have a tab that covers the zipper on the top you zip it all the way up we rolled the sleeves once and I think she'll be able to wear it for a year or more. It's definitely want to resistant I've seen water on it just sit on the top and you could just brush it right off. Although you're not supposed to wear a jacket in the car seat I can attest that this is light enough that I didn't see a difference because although it's slightly poofy it actually can be compressed very easily. I like the light pink color. The reference my daughter can wear anywhere from 24 months up to 40. As a parent you know that brands and sizing are all over the place. I tend to like to buy larger sizes so that she has room to grow. Her actual size is probably a 3T and that's what we bought and I feel like it's a little loose on her which I'm happy with because I think that she's going to be able to use it longer than I thought. If I had to say if the size is run big I'd say slightly but in a good way. Hope that helps. I Like that you can fit a long sleeve shirt and a hoodie underneath this jacket. You don't have to wear layers underneath for it to be warm but if you want it to be extra toasty it fits great!

Buy it! Ordered a size larger for my toddler so we can use it for many winters. She's in a 3T some times 4T so I bought a 4T knowing it would be on the bigger side. She loves it and has plenty of room to grow.

Seems perfect for Texas winter. Not sure about the snow seems thin for that.

Great fit, currently wearing 18mo clothing and was able to wear the 2T size comfortably but still room to grow. Toddler can move decently well in it for a snow suit. Easy to get toddler in and out of it.

I love that the sleeves and legs of this snowsuit can be lengthened. I also love that the straps of the pants are adjustable with velco. My daughter loves the fun, bright print. She will definetly get two winters from this snowsuit

While I wouldn't want to use this snowsuit in a heavy-snow environment like the Rocky Mountains, for a Seattle winter where it snows a couple times at around freezing temperatures and leaves some light snow on the ground, this snowsuit is perfect. The coat can double as a coat without the pants, and is warm enough to handle freezing temperatures (though as I said I wouldn't want to go much below that).

Although we haven't gotten to use this out in the snow yet (all of our snow has melted), we are anxiously awaiting our next large snowfall to be able to play! We love the snowpants and jacket and allow the flexibility that it provides as our daughter grows throughout the winter!

Was looking for a set that would keep my grandson warm, dry and not having to walk around like the abominable snowman. It did all three. We were out and it was a very wet, drizzly rain,snow and he stayed dry and very warm. I am hoping they come out in larger sizes next year as I would definitely buy this again. We spend a lot of time outside during the cold, snowy season here in Wisconsin and this set is great.

The quality of this product is great. The features that it has such as extending so it has a longer life with the child. We hope to get a couple seasons out of this one.

Living in MN you never know what to expect during the winter months. Personally I always expect the worst and prepare for it, weather it happens or not. No matter what kind of weather we have, my kids never want to come back inside. When I started to see that my 3yr old daughter was growing out of her jacket and bibs I instantly grabbed my phone and logged into my Columbia account and found her a new snow suit, Toddler Frosty Slope Set. With all the features it has that makes it MN weather approved, it also has the Outgrown feature which I wasn't familiar with. Now when I notice that her jacket or bibs are getting to short, I just remove a string and will get some more use out of it.

This is the second frosty slope set I have purchased. I bought this for my toddler to use in the snow. We live in a place where there is snow during the winter. It gets very cold. The frosty slope set slips on easily and keeps my son warm and dry. He is typically outside for 1-2 hour increments then comes in to warm up / take a break. The quality is good and you can tell the jacket and bibs are both well made. I especially love the outgrow system, as my son is tall and lean. Sizing seems true as well. We got 4T and he wears the same size in his other clothes. Thanks Columbia for a great product!

My 3 year old daughter loves this outfit. It will surely be good for this and next year winter. I got a 4/5 year old fit and she is 38 in. Tall. Has a little room for growth.
