This is the first time I have bought Columbia shorts. As usual, ordering from ther web site was clear and easy. The shorts themselves are comfortable and true to size. A value for the price.

Don’t listen to the negative reviews, these shorts are a 5 stars all day. They are thin and lightweight so if you’re surprised you never shopped the Columbia brand before. They fit is great, perfect knee length. Great for any occasion from golf to a casual bbq. Personally just what I was looking for.

I have several pairs of the Mens washed out shorts,material fades quickly and has spotty lighter spots after sun exposure and washing. Unsightly and unwearable after 2 months on the darker colors. Not as noticable but evident on lighter colors

Bought a 48" at Belk. Loosing weight steadily, soon were too loose. Went back to Belk and got a 46", perfect. I do though feel the waste size actually runs 2" larger than stated base on my other clothes and belt. Great light weight shorts once I got proper size. Based on these reviews and my own experience, very light weight, I do not expect any longevity, possibly might tear if challenged. At these prices, I'll but several pairs to get through a season or until I get down to next size.

These are awesome shorts the reason I'm rating it a 4 star is I bought 2 different colors and the red ones are really really small like 4 sizes smaller I looked at the tags and have the same size as my India ink I am going to return them of course

The reason I'm giving a 3/5 is because the quality of the shorts weren't what I was expecting. Then again most places never really have my size or it's harder to find. I'm a taller person and kinda on the bigger size. I got a size 46. It fit in the legs but not in the waist. I wasn't able to button it. That's the only issues for me. Other than that it's not bad of a color.
