I ordered these shoes specifically for winter and muddy trail runs. My first run in them was a trail 10K, very cold, wet, and muddy. My feet stayed dry and warm for the entire race! They felt a little stiffer than my other Brooks out of the box, but were still comfortable for the run. I normally wear a size 7 shoe but size up to an 8 in running shoes. These are no exception. I highly recommend these for muddy, wet trail runs.

My last purchase of this type of GTX was a few years ago. Was most concerned about all the poor reviews of the subsequent shoes being too small, too narrow etc. I ordered 2 different sizes and found that 1/2 size up from my regular size fits perfectly. I love these trail runners and need the GTX for early morning runs in wet conditions. They keep my feet dry.

I always wear Brooks because I pronate.

I have owned many pairs of Adrenalines and these are by far my favorite ones yet! I am glad Brooks has finally offered a Gore-Tex pair that wasn't pink or purple! As always with Brooks running sneakers order up! I order 1 full size up.

This is my ultimate go to shoe for immediate comfort right out of the box. I have a narrow bony foot with bunions and a falling arch; so I wear an orthotic in all my shoes. This is my second pair which I bought for a trip to Alaska; therefore, I wanted waterproof. Although it did not rain on my trip, the shoe arrived the day before I left and I wore them all day every day for seven days without any achy feet. This is an amazing shoe. I usually wear a 9; but sized up to 9½, B width for my orthotic.

This shoe provides excellent support and stability! I am an all-terrain walker, and I have had no problems with my ankles or "runners toe." The footbed has enough room so my toes don't get squished after 1-2 hours of walking. Brooks run about a size smaller than my regular footwear, so size up! I normally wear a 9 in women's shoes; a 10 in Brooks fit comfortably.

I really wanted to keep these shoes. But, I seem to be between sizes. I usually wear a 6 1/2 in tennis shoes. Based on reviews, I ordered 7 and 7 1/2. 7 too small and 7 1/2 too big-- they were slipping in the heel. The shoes have lots of room in toe box area and are great looking, but they have to go back.

Weirdest fitting shoe. I usually wear an 8.5 B in Brooks Adrenaline GTS and ASR. But this year's ASR runs small. I had to up to 9B. The 9B toe box fits like an old 8.5B dream, but the heel is way too big-like a 9. This is a terrible fit. My toes are gripping too much because they are trying to make up for the gargantuan heel hole that's flopping up and down. I should have passed on this year's iteration and wait see what Brooks brings out next season. Too bad I already wore it outside.

If you are a regular user - beware that these are at least a 1/2 size smaller than previous models. The 1/2 size larger didn't feel right either.

Pretty shoe! Just not quite as comfortable as my Merrells, and I need good, supportive shoes for walking. Too bad because I do like them.

I have been wearing Brooks for years and walk miles every day. However, the last 2 models just were not comfortable on my feet and proved to be expensive mistakes. I am so happy that this shoe fits well, feels great and looks good. The toe box is wide enough and the support is great. Love this shoe!

I love Brooks! Great supportive shoe and these are very comfortable. I ordered a size up (usually wear 8 but got a 9) as it makes them more comfortable on runs or long hikes. The heel never slips.

I bought these for my extremely flat feet that are moderate over pronators for fast walking. I also hated getting my feet wet and cold in our rainy season. I normally wear a size 7 in most shoes and tried a 7½ and an 8M. I chose the 8 and use Spenco orthotics. That was a perfect match. The inserts that come with the shoe hurt my Right forefoot - it did not feel like it had enough support. These shoes are very comfortable for long walks and they have proven to me that they are waterproof proving you don't have an umbrella or rain gear that directs water on top of your shoe. I like the colors! I would definitely recommend these shoes.

These are waterproof, which was the main reason I tried them. They did run small and had to order a half size up. A wider size would be helpful, as the length was fine but the width was too tight.

This shoe felt great right out of the box. I use custom orthotics and they fit well in the shoe. I have walked and run through snow and on ice with dry feet and no slipping. The heel fit is a little wide but I find that on most shoes. After reading other reviews, I did size up.

Excellent shoe, truly waterproof. We're in ankle deep-mud, these keep my feet dry. Only rubber boots keep my feet drier, but I'm not out running in rubber boots! I paid attention to the other reviews, **ordered a full size up**, and the shoes fit perfectly with my thicker winter running socks. I use orthotics (I'm a pronator), didn't have to remove or modify the footbed to accommodate the orthotic.

Brooks Adrenaline shoes offer great neutral support for walking or running. I have worn this brand for 4 years. In the winter in Michigan I need a GoreTex walking shoe to keep my feet warmer. I ordered these from Zappos because There was no store in town or even at Brook's website that had my size. These shoes should be ordered in a half size larger than usual. Mine wear out at about 650 miles.

I love Brooks but they are all so bright! I wear a size 10 and to be honest they just look like clown shoes so I am returning them.

I have flat feet which cause me immense pain when running and hiking. I recently got a new orthotic and bought these shoes. I ran a 10K out of the box and they were comfortable and supportive. I am very happy with these shoes.

Very nice shoe but it runs very small. I wear an 8 in a women's dress shoe and ordered a 9 in these. I am returning them for a 9.5. They conform beautifully to my feet and are very comfortable.

Brooks are my shoe of choice. This particular style is very comfortable and has a very rugged sole for trail running. I have ran two races since buying these and they have performed great. If there was a negative it might be that they are very stiff.

Brooks used to be such a reliable brand. If you loved a style you could order it time and again and get great comfort and performance. Now it's hit or miss like with the Adrenaline ASR 12's. The regular version felt like the arch was too high and the toe box was smaller. The ASR 12 GTX fit better, but they are quite stiff. I'll keep them because they are waterproof and we live in the Seattle area but I don't love them. So far the Addiction is a much better shoe for me for everyday walking and fitness. Until they decide to change that too. Come on Brooks, if it ain't broke, quit trying to fix it.

I am very sad with the changes to Brooks. The toes are too narrow. Maybe if I order a wide it will help, but I haven't had to in the past.
