I liked the old Spanx front closure wireless, but that is discontinued. The new version description says "wireless" and would probably pass a metal detector. Instead of a wire there is a tight, stiff roll of fabric under the bust. If you do not like the fit/feel of underwire, this may not be the bra for you.

I used to love the front closure Spanx wireless bra. They replaced it with this bra and it's not the same at all. The sizes are all weird. It's very uncomfortable. Want to give it zero stars but I have to give it one. Will be returning it and never buy one again.

This bra is exactly as described- comfortable, feels like a dream all day (I mean as much as any bra possibly can) and gives the girls a great shape. I will definitely be buying more of this style! This is the best shape you can get without torturous underwires. Nothing to poke you and the seam stitching is also extremely comfortable.

I have been wearing the underwire Spanx bras for a few years and this is a more comfortable alternative. I like the shoulder straps, which are narrower and slightly padded. The back is silky and helps prevent back bumps almost as well as the original nylon one, but so much better than any other pricey bras I have found. I will be purchasing more.
